While I was ordained as a Buddhist monk I changed my view on reading. Instead of reading as many books as I could, I’d read only a handful of books each year and then read them several times over and implement what I read in my life. I think “Stumbling on happiness” will be one of the books on my list this year. Thank you for the sharing these!

Live below your means, Adjust your lifestyle, be frugal in spending don't buy unnecessary stuff, Budget your spending and your debts, Save, Invest it's a better way to grow wealth, get a financial expert to help you.
I recommend Rachel Blanc, her services has top notch for me, helped me create good financial plan and effective debt payment plan. I'm also growing a profitable passive income from my investments. I definitely recommend her!
My favorite thing about these, is that you show the books in the thumbnail. You don't really make an effort to hide the titles to get people to watch the videos. You give really good summaries though, so I always watch while I start accumulating them. Thanks Clark, you're a good dude and I'm glad you're doing what you do. A lot of other youtubers are just shills..
I totally agree with you. Clark is passionate and his love of learning and teaching and distilling difficult concepts into a digestible medium is powerful.
The Psychology of Money is fantastic. Just finished reading it the other day and really gave me a better perspective on money and managing my personal financial picture now and in the future. Will definitely be re-reading it again this year. Good recommendation Clark!
Stumbling on Happiness by Dan Gilbert The Surrender Experiment by Michael A. Singer The Way of the Superior Man by David Dieda The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk Thanks, Clark Dan T. PS that last book is a must buy for me. Recently diagnosed with PTSD. Moody hurts everywhere. It really hit home!
I just finished reading The Way of the Superior Man for the third time, and it completely changed the way I think about masculinity. This book is a must-read for any man looking to become the best version of himself. It's not just about being a 'tough guy' or following traditional gender roles; it's about developing inner strength and integrity, and living a life of purpose and fulfillment. If you're a man looking to step up and take control of your life, this is the book for you.
This book itself is an absolute crap. The first part is fine, it’s actually about superiority, but then! 4/5 of a book is about women and types of a women and women behavior! Seriously? Nothing about superior man) just another relationship book at least for 4/5 of it.
I'm reading The Body Keep the Score for a second time after listening to it twice. It's been a great complement to my therapy for treating PTSD. It's one of my favorite findings from last year, together with The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer. Solid recommendations!
Am building my personal library at the moment. Buying and reading one book at a time, I already finished: Rational Male, Atomic Habits, Four Hour Work Week, Currently on The Way of the Superior Man and have Myles Munroe's Understand the same Purpose and the Power of Men. This list gave me an Insight of what I could do next. The Psychology of money is now at the top of my list.
The Obstacle is the Way, Stillness is the Key, Ego is the Enemy, Man's Search for Meaning, Can't Hurt Me, No More Mr. Nice Guy, The War of Art. All staples in my self-growth.
I am currently reading 'The Body Keeps The Score' . I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you want to understand your own trauma and those of people around you and how it manifests, read this book!
I can suggest Do it today, essentialism, effortless, Robin Sharma's and Ryan Holiday's +Robert Greene's books, the power of habit, a man's search for meaning, make time, the meditations, libraray midnight, tuesday's with morrie, it starts with us +it ends with us, indistrictable, Can't hurt me, $100m offer, go giver, the courage to be disliked, discipline is the destiny.
So true, I used to attract a certain caliber of men and decided to go on a self healing and improvement journey and I definitely can see a BIG difference in the people I attract now. It's not easy but definitely doable.

Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain (this book saved my life - literally) After 1 year of studying trauma, working with IFS therapist, unpacked and processed my childhood, did MBTI test, I finally: found myself.
😂 the conversation about men v women debate was on point, well said ✊🏻 yes! One of my affirmations on my vision board for relationships is “be the energy you wish to attract”
Excellent list and summaries. I have only read the Surrender Experiment and it was fascinating. One thing you didn't mention about Michael A. Singer was that everything he did do, he did because it was just incredibly interesting to him. Also, He nearly didn't complete his Ph.D. but others pushed him to complete it because he was so close. My personal favorite is when he showed up to teach his class with no shirt on because he was so lost in his meditation then realized he needed to go teach. LOL. Adding these 4 additional books to my reading list for this year! Thank you for the awesome video!

Hidden Time Wealth is so unique. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard about it sooner. It’s amazing how life-changing this can be for anyone battling procrastination.
Just read "way of the superior man" thanks for the recommendation. Loved it. Explains so much that I already intuited, and validated my feminine desires, which I had if not felt ashamed of, certainly questioned, and wondered if they were weaknesses or faults. I agree its the kind of information that everyone would benefit from in adolescence.
I have to say The Power of Habit is my all time favorite and better than Atomic Habits. Both are great, but to anyone who read Atomic Habits, I recommend Power of Habit :)))
WOAAHHH Book III on your list when you said "I gave this book to everyone because it helped me on relationships (paraphrased)" I was thinking The Way of The Superior Man was the book that did it for me! I started to give out The Way of The Superior Man to the family too haha. Happy that we both had the same concept of the book which makes me happy :) (honorable mention to The 5 Love Languages)
Great video- loved the bit where you referenced UA-cam videos leaving people thinking “everyone’s a narcissist”, which ironically can feed the ‘narcissist’ in blaming or the empath in being afraid. Nice to hear someone say, Can we chill out and try to get along :)

I can suggest Do it today, essentialism, effortless, Robin Sharma's and Ryan Holiday's +Robert Greene's books, the power of habit, a man's search for meaning, make time, the meditations, libraray midnight, tuesday's with morrie, it starts with us +it ends with us, indistrictable, Can't hurt me, $100m offer, go giver, the courage to be disliked, discipline is the destiny books.
Reading just is not just enough it depends on how much your working hard on your skills and putting effort in it also updating and upgrading yourself. You can suggest thousand of books but if you don't work upon yourself nothing will happen 👍
You can literally hallucinate objects and beings into existence because what's happening is you're tapping into that pure abstract creative potential of mind. That's exactly what you want. Of course it can be kind of freaky but a psychedelic is that times a thousand. See so again the point is not to achieve some blissful state or to see some cool colors or to travel to some new dimension you can do all those things. That's nice, that's fun. The point is the lessons the insights you get and the meta understanding of how this entire process works because as you're exploring all your different domains you're learning about your own mind. How the mind of God is generating reality and why it's generating it.
I listened to The Surrender Experiment on Audible and it really was an interesting story. And I'm positive that The Yes Man with Jim Carrey is based off it.
Call it a psychic hit or whatever since I don’t know much about you Clark but as soon as a flipped in this video I knew you were going to whip out “The Way of the Superior Man”… (yeah pun intended lol) this book saved my relationship life and yeah… I’ll admit it.. before David Deida straightened me out I was totally the “New Age Wimp” he describes.

I recommend reading Mind Hacking Happiness Vol. 1 + 2! 😁 It has changed my life more than anything else so far. 👍The author Sean Webb reads it on audible, which is my preferred way to read it.
Please look me in my eyes. and promise me, you'll NEVER do that again 🤣🤣🤣 I almost choked on my half cooked broccoli!!! hahahah 1)ALL of these books sound amazing 2) The Body Keeps the Score is the TRUTH. My number 1 takeaway was that Child Abuse is the number 1 cause of MANY prevalent health issues in America! 3) I have the audiobook for the Psychology of Money. I tried to listen to it on my flight from NY to PHX but I was too busy fighting my anxiety because I thought we were gonna fall out the sky hahaha so I def should reread it. Your videos are always so entertaining, informative. The overall package!

I see you marking a lot of parts in the books Not sure if you did already a video about that but did you ever explain the best way (or your way) of reading these kind of books and getting the most out of them? I often feel like I read the words but don't get the message. That's why so many just keep buying new books but don't notice they have read the same message over and over again

I wish I could be financially free like you to enjoy and devote my whole life on learning. Could you please make video series on relationship as how toxicity divorces and gender discrimination and fighting are increasing. Ex- How man should be? What a man's attitude and mindset during dating and after relationship? How to have healthy relationship with other partner? How to develop and maintain healthy and growing relationship. How to keep relationship alive active and secure? How to have personality charisma which makes a man a ideal among all as beest option to have with. Etc etc Sir I am curious and i think many people also want the same to have healthy and connected relationship. Thankyou for your time and expertise. -From India 🙏🏾

@@stellar3935 Hey bro can i take your instagram handle for talk about books you suggest and another.
Soon as you hit me with the three words I was hooked buying all 5 books.
Reading just is not just enough it depends on how much your working hard on your skills and putting effort in it also updating and upgrading yourself. You can suggest thousand of books but if you don't work upon yourself nothing will happen 👍
Stumbling on happiness, the surrender experiment, way of the superior man
As A Man Thinketh written in 1902 by James Allen.
On here to listen to.
LOVE the psychology of money and superior man! funny enough, my cousin gifted me the superior man. Great vid!
Your videos are literally the best - keep doing what you're doing.
Call it a psychic hit or whatever since I don’t know much about you Clark but as soon as a flipped in this video I knew you were going to whip out “The Way of the Superior Man”… (yeah pun intended lol) this book saved my relationship life and yeah… I’ll admit it.. before David Deida straightened me out I was totally the “New Age Wimp” he describes.
love it bro. keep up the great work!!
I was making a list of books for 2023 tbr. And now your video pops up.Gonna add those for sure.

If you are thinking that SUCCESS is luck or accident, you are wrong. Because do not know how successful people work till they become successful.... I have tried a couple of months to be sucessful and it was so difficult.... Work on to make luck ! anyway I loved watching this video, thanks. a fellow creator
I immediately caught that Dream was also not on the list. but you mentioned sleep which is also not on the list so just one word was on the list.
I read the surrender experiment in 2022 it was exactly what I needed. Now I’m reading his new book ‘living untethered’ and it is mind blowing
Great post - loved it.
I cannot be the only one to observe that dream was not either part of that list. 0:27

Best list ever !!
I see you marking a lot of parts in the books
Not sure if you did already a video about that but did you ever explain the best way (or your way) of reading these kind of books and getting the most out of them?
I often feel like I read the words but don't get the message. That's why so many just keep buying new books but don't notice they have read the same message over and over again
Will definitely check some of these out! Thanks for the recommendations, Clark!

Could you please make video series on relationship as how toxicity divorces and gender discrimination and fighting are increasing. Ex-
How man should be?
What a man's attitude and mindset during dating and after relationship?
How to have healthy relationship with other partner?
How to develop and maintain healthy and growing relationship.

Sir I am curious and i think many people also want the same to have healthy and connected relationship. Thankyou for your time and expertise. -From India 🙏🏾
You would benefit from Stoic teachings my friend. Read Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, Epictetus's Enchiridion, and Seneca's writings for a start.
@@davecom3 thankyou brother 🙏🏾
Look for Esther Perel books, podcast and youtube

Excellent Video brother ✅✅
Focus should be on the quality and not the quantity 😎
very interesting suggestion for looking for new books. I am specially interested in the last book.
You get energy through working out" so true I agree 💯%
DO NOT READ “the body keeps score” ( trigger warning ⚠️ rape ⚠️
There is a graphic recollection of a war vet brutally raping a child, mother, and then killing them. It took me months to stop having nightmares about that book …
The Car Tribe Universe was unique. A love story not of loving your cars but between cars. Whst?
really appreciate your videos man, i’ve spent 19 years of my life not reading at all and you have really got me into reading these new books.
Thank you
Good list! A Teenager’s Guide on how to Invest Like Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger is a good book for teens.
