I'd gladly take 15 more minutes of his B role just paddling around, beautiful places he fishes and it's very relaxing. Some take their job as "entertainer" a little too seriously and are really bad at it.

You mention your braided line freezes together on reel when it gets cold and you change to monofilament. I string amount of line out my reel that I normally would cast across my backyard and apply a light coating of Vaseline. Try it. Even if line freezes, it won’t stick together. You will have to redo every once in a while because it eventually wears off.

Im 17 right now and this is my dream to do this all the time when im older. Hands down this is the best fishing channel on UA-cam. So calm and he knows exactly what he is talkin about.
Thank you! I’ve been pretty much living a dream the past year being able to do this as my job. It’s tough at times, there will be a week or two stretch every now and then when the fishing is terrible and I wonder what I’m doing wrong but I try to stay positive and keep at it and eventually all that hard work is rewarded.
Crash, let me give you some advice. Go out and do it right now. Live your dream while you are still young. Don’t wait until your olde, just go out and LIVE while you are young!

That first fish @ about 3.12 on the video was incredible, beautiful colouring and a real head on it. Imagine THAT being the last thing you saw in the river? Frightening. My biggest ever Pike was around 15kg caught on the River Ant in Norfolk, UK some 18 yrs ago when Ilived there.

I got skunked all morning until 11:15 and finally threw on a small crappie crankbait in a ditch that feeds the larger reservoir that is feed by clear water from our town sewage treatment plant. They were small black bass but fight hard on 4lb test.

I would recommend you try savage gear line thrus there there a soft swimbait they have a great action and you can get them in trout ,pike,perch,roach and are very durable due to the line thru system

one tip: pike bite more often on fluocarbon, they cant break break it if its 80/100+, and it doesnt bend

I fish braid all winter in Canada and find that if you spray your line on the reel, I mean soak it, with silicone spray, no problems.
