My Dad recently bought a piece of property with a 2 acre pond on it. I have been working my tail off for a couple years clearing the trees out from around it by myself with a chainsaw. He lives over 100 miles from me so I go there and spend a week or so and spend half of the time working and half of the time fishing.

Noah’s been my go to fishing videos since day one, never gets old
I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.

Noah I took your advice from a previous video about bass being finicky. So I did the whole dead stick with the rubber worm. And the ol tap the back of the pole, with the bait at the bottom. Well I caught 6 bass. No lie, all about 1 lb. Each but it was a small pond. Thanks bruh 😎

@KickinTheirBASSTV there is a pond in blackshear ga about an hour and a half from Savannah. If you are ever in the area you gotta hit it. But make sure you bring a smaller boat.

You might not believe me but i just caught one those swimbaits today while in a tiny spill way. It was and didnt understand how the treble hook was soppose to be with the weird metal thingy on there. Glad i clicked rewatch😂😂

Ive had issues with the magdraft magnet falling out and like you said you have to work it super slow to keep it from rolling for the price i was upset with the falling apart issues ive had with themwith that being said ive never seen fish so aggressive twords a bait

Noah ^^ check out those freestyle 6 inch mag draft 2 packs and run it on your preferred 6-7/O keel weighted ewg and you wont gill hook em ever again on the magdraft. i noticed it upsets you when you poke their gills and im the same way and the standard mag with the under-hanging treble gets em in the gills more often than it dosnt.

Nice, and a good choice for most anything large fresh or salt water. I use the 6" bait in sparkle blue for large Pike, think it would be a good choice for Muskies also. I have caught 40+ inchers trolling these behind my canoe in Voyaguers National Park and the BWCA.
