@@itsmasura I did Red Ash > Overzone > Old Tales. I think both orders are great because the stories are great but honestly, chronological makes a lot of sense for a newcomer. A lot of the original mysteries of Overzone that were there on release (like not knowing what Red Hood looks like) no longer exist. I really enjoyed the order I did them in because I understood all the references Overzone was full of! 😍

What I always find amazing is how the Goddess Squad period events all build off each other. Watching this after Old Tales changes everything. So many other stories fumble this huge emotional flashback moments but Nikke lands them so gloriously

I'm always notcing small details when rewatching these past events now that I have context from the latest events and it always makes me think Holy Moly. In this case it's when the Legendary Commander was talking about the casualities of all the at the Elysion Lab, he states "That includes the two Grimms models that were currently in production." This means that Oswald was telling the truth about the Central Government not knowing about Hansel and Gretel.
The nickname Lilith makes more sense, if you know Korean and Japanese, which lack certain sounds found in English, thus leading to adaptations. In Korean (the original language of the game), Liliweiss is called 릴리바이스 (Lillibaiseu), with 릴리스 (Liliseu) as the shortened version. Similarly, in Japanese, リリーバイス (Rirībaisu) becomes リリース (Rirīsu) as a nickname.
Could you imagine how broken a person future Snow White would be if her last words to Red Hood were really "I HATE YOU!" without meaning it always wondering if Red really thought she hated her?
I think Nikke does such a good job with events not spoiling each other and small enough references that order doesn't matter so much. Which is a very good for gacha game with constant story and event updates. Maybe someone mentioned it in stream but I don't see it here in the comments: these anniversary events were relevant to new chapters at the time. OverZone released as we met Dorothy in main campaign in the present time line. Same for Red Hood, Crown, and now Cinderella. The Non-pilgrim nikkes are seemingly released randomly and some are just outright filler *cough cheerleaders cough*
I think one of my favorite nonlore important things to come out of Red Ash is the establishment that Legendary Commander and Liliweiss are basically a married couple with how they bicker back and forth. It's amazing characterization.

One thing I thought about after this event was like humans were actually so close to winning back then. Like sure rapture caught everyone off guard the the Nikke produced back then were actually so much stronger than raptures. The strongest raptures in existence in current stories are all corrupted Nikkes. Had the arc not fuck up Nikke production and mentality toward Nikkes they could had easily turn the tide of the war and won already.

GAAAH I freaked when I heard Final battle play (track that plays around the 1:37-38 mark) that along with Angel's Cry and Daybreak is one of the best tracks in Red Ash to me personally and holy shit to see exactly where the song plays in-game....it is a CRIME they have not released this game for consoles and it is forever stuck in mobile game hell imo (maybe THEN I'll actually play it never know lol I know it can also be played on PC but I don't do PC so yeah).

But omg yes she Finally played Red Ash which was a long time coming seeing as she had already fell in love with Red Hood long before she started the event. Adding to that it's a small thing but I LOVE despite playing this event late (should've been started earlier while it takes place during Old Tales it was released long before Old Tales was a thing) she placed her playthrough of Red Ash BEFORE Old Tales where it rightfully should be again a small thing but I love that detail and is appreciated. I also can't wait to see her reaction to the music of Red Ash this one event probably has the most great, awesome bangers when ig comes to music in this game out of other Nikke soundtracks (best overall track still being Burn it All imo tho personally) with honorable mentions being Angel's Cry,Daybreak,Hold Me Tight and the Final Battle being the standouts in this event to me anyway.
Red Ash before OverZone is an interesting choice, still one of the best events hands down. Snow white’s voice actress did a fantastic job. All the VAs do amazing work but her performance was top notch
I'm really content having done it chronologically! I get easily confused on timeline and it made Overzone personally super impactful knowing all the references. As a newer player, it's not like I would have had the same build up/mysterious anticipation like those who did it on release not knowing things like Red Hood's design - I see her every day in my lobby ya know? Haha I think the VAs did really well during this event too! 😍 Snow definitely got me misty eyed multiple timesss
@vidianott nah it’s not so much the mystery of seeing red. The events can stand on their own even without context. Red,Modernia, and Dorothy are kinda spoiler characters to an extent, and a new player can her right away. It’s more like the add and sometimes spoil little details to the respective chapters that came out along side the event. But no need to worry, with out the context you get later on it’s not that big of a deal. Enjoy the story in whatever order you want.
@@Fonz57 Yeah, I would say luckily I've stayed clear of most spoilers and have been uncovering things as the story unfolds naturally! 😊 You'll see it in the Overzone videos, but doing it in this order made me very stressed for half of that one wondering how things escalated to the extent that they did in such little time LOL

It's unfortunate you didn't get to experience the even in JP. They re-recorded Red Hood's EN voice lines, so they're no longer dog-shit, but they're still nowhere as good as the JP version.

Chronological order is worse, only if you hadn't done Old Tales as a newcomer first. Then this order makes more sense.

I love the little story told in the overworld map as the event progresses. I love anything about the Mass Produced Nikkes so it stuck quite hard.
Seeing their little chibis at war was so sad but suuuch a nice touch from the devs!!

There are certainly more hints that he is than there are that say he isn't, but yeah, nothing hard confirming this theory yet.
