I love it but that "bubble" on top needs to go and make the roof, SOLAR !! Fresh water tank size will also be VERY important. Lithium batteries would also be a great option. Insulate it well ! This can be a real winner !
@@Billsbillsbillsbills no this was just a concept build. It’s the only one. They didn’t have any plans to mass produce it or even sell this one when they started. But after all the interest from SEMA hopefully they can do it
Chinook was fun, but the Sunrader was even more ground breaking due to its monocoque design and clever layout. The 18 foot with rear kitchen layout was gorgeous
They should of added dual rear wheels like the original to make it more practical. It should be lower to the ground for safety. It would be nice if the suspension lifted automatically when 4x4 low is engaged.
Is their a reasonable amount of payload left after a build like this? Seems cool, but I think we got our hopes up on something that may not actually be usable in the real, non-SEMA show world. Hope I'm wrong because I want this thing.
Sorry Tacozilla is taken. Now this can be tacozilla 2.0. But we got the real tacozilla. That was made by ttora which is a off-road company. Old ‘98 first gen into a big rock crawler
Nice work but why advertise a vehicle that the general public can not own? It's like a carrot in front of a donkey. No thanks Toyota. This is a vehicle made for a few people and no one else. 😕
Hate the color!!!!! And several people around ilia at the LA AutoShow said that same “Only” negative thin. Please make it more current and we will buy it
Yes please! At an affordable price though.
Just need a winning Powerball ticket 😀
They fit a shower and a toilet in there?!
I’m impressed !

I LOVE THE PASSTHROUGH
Please make these and sell them. Hopefully for under $85,000 😅
They are made, and sold, for 40k and 28k..
@@Billsbillsbillsbills you’re probably talking about just the Toyota Tacoma in general. The Tacozilla is just this one build they’ve made for SEMA.
@@Ben-outdoors oh this isn’t on the line?

Regular people have been making campers like this in their home garage for decades.
With those walls can a person sit straight?

Very interested in purchasing this vehicle...4 wheel drive?
Really love Toyota and this, but need automatic transmission. Maybe move the front passenger seat out ???

If you make it I will buy
Can I special order How much total price
Gas is $5 bucks a gallon though
I hope you keep the skin steel or aluminum. Please no fiberglass skins.
The Asians did a better one called a Toyota Hilux camper truck.
Make one in diesel and I’ll be throwing money at you…. Literally
Am I the only one who hates those types of paint jobs

The manual transmission is the sad part :(
It’s never too late to learn how to drive it. It’s better for off-roading
