No that’s not double cleansing because the whole reason behind double cleansing is to first remove all sunscreen, makeup, sweat, and dirt with an oil cleanser because you remove oil with oil. So in this case your first cleansing step has to be oil based. You can use either cleaning balm, cleansing oil, or even micellar water. Then you follow up with your water based cleanser which is your foaming cleanser you just mentioned or your salicylic acid cleanser. Hope this helps🥰
Would it be alright to use micellar water as my morning cleanse? Is it sufficient enough? Will if affect the rest of my morning skincare routine at all?
you could but the whole point of micellar water is to remove residual product like makeup and sunscreen from the day. when used in the morning, there’s nothing really to remove so i would opt for a mild cleanser in the am. micellar water also emulsifies so when mixed with for example you sunscreen in the morning it causes the sunscreen to get a bit foamy and hard to rub in.
Hello doctor adel, k so I have a really dry skin and I’ve been using the cetaphill cleanser Nivea moisturizer for three years and I’ve use other moisturizers and nothing helped so I would like you to recommend any moisturizers and any facial cleanser and facemasks or anything that would help my skin to glow and look clear ❤🤍✨
