The biggest issue with these bikes is the battery. I wonder, since these batteries are removable, if a new battery technology becomes available to Zero, they could make it compatible with the motorcycle you already own.
Are you planning to do a test with Alta Motors? Also, are there no modified Zeros with liquid cooling for the motor and electronics? Supposedly, bikes get modified a lot and yet with electric bikes there is rarely an attempt to tune them. What's up with that?
I don't want to give away what we have in store... but be patient. :-) And if you're looking for modified electric bikes, look up Hollywood Electrics. Those guys have hopped up quite a few Zeros, including the ones that went to Pikes Peak.
How would it work with learner motorcycles don't know how other countries work in the UK 17 year old can drive after CBT till they do there bike test could you drive this bike with a different battery pack or a restrictor until they have done there test ?
I have an FX, and its simply the worst bike I have ever had. I get about half the advertised range on it, and keep having problem after problem. I really wanted to love that thing too :(

Grafight23 does the rear brake gobble? Cause my S gobbles the first few times I brake when I've been off it a few hours.

It drives with electricity but has no LED taillight? :/ it looks like a normal light bulb in the taillight. Not very futuristic.

I have an FXS and it's been great. I had one very minor problem but it's been super reliable apart from that.
I have 1000+ miles on my current model FXS. I have only one complaint: the rear brake sounds awful (though it works just fine).
So it’s not liquid cooled like the Alta Redshift SM? Pass.
