Well then you'd enjoy the previous Bale DP/30 (for Out of the Furnace), it was fantastic. And like Tom Newsom said DP/30 interviews are often great - proper conversations instead of the couple of minute junket ones with the same questions over and over.
It makes a lot more sense now why he and other actors want to stay in character even off camera. As he says, he can't just turn it on and off like a lot of other trained actors can and he doesn't want to give a shitty performance.
