    It's interesting how Christian Bale used to do interviews in his character's accent.

    • @alexf02071999
      @alexf02071999 9 років тому +63

      He still puts on accents for interviews, but it seems more random now. I've had to go back to his 2000 American Psycho interviews to hear his actual accent, cause now he just keeps changing it. Even in an interview for Exodus he decided to be cockney for no reason.

    Wow Bale did alot of research on Batman, much in the same way Hugh Jackman did for Wolverine. Which is probably why their portrayals felt so genuine and likened to the comics. He really dealt deep into the psychology of Batmans character. I really hope Ben Affleck does the same.

    • @askepios111
      @askepios111 9 років тому +13

      I agree and Bale's my favorite thus far, but Bale knows the basics of the character. Which was enough. But you dont have to worry about Affleck doing research because he's been a Bat-fan his whole life. He's probably the most hardcore fan out of all of them.

    The comics Bale started out with might explain his voice. In those novels - especially Morrison's Arkham Asylum - Batman was especially stylized. He was drawn as a shadow or a demon, and thus, he spoke like one.
    Arkham Asylum even stylized the lettering in the speech bubbles to characterize everyone's voices.
