To see even a bit of our Lord to just a moment have a visit and know He will take us for eternity into His bosom of Life! That Life which is so perfect! But yet for a little while we must stay here in the world to help others! And that is all that matters for now! Give yourself to God - Universe - Reality that you live in... be happy my friend. For sadness and pain is an illusion and/or a choice by people themselves. Be happy my friend even if you face struggles don't give in the Devil for he is the sin himself- Arrogance - Greed - Murder - Lust - Enviousness - Weakness (of spirit). For he wispers that things to you (even if you don't believe in any of this) try to understand in a metaphorical ways. Be happy, choose to be Happy, feel this world, embrace it, live it, "see" it e.t.c. Avoid everything evil and bad and trust God - Universe - Luck - Fate, i don't care. Or i as i like to say to everyone Live life or it will outlive you... in a sense. If you're unhappy with your family and you DO have the reasons to, just pray for them and leave them, get on with your life, get a job and blah blah blah. If you don't have any friends, find them or God will send some. If you don't like where you live in, change the place. If you don't like yourself, still be yourself but make some improvements (if you can). As Jesus said: "Ask and you will recieve Seek and you will find Knock and it will be opened to you". Trust me it works... I wish you good luck on finding happiness. P.S. Do not stay in the darkness for it's an endless pit of suffering and pain for your soul. P.P.S. You're question kinda seem's strange to me... 'cause this is a binary world 1-0 Love-Hate Light-Dark Happiness-Unhappiness God created everything that way (i still seek the ultimate answer to that) and you yourself (as i said) should create the happiness and choose to be in it, that's it. @@tobiokedairo4677 Nobody has seen God physically, what the Father here was trying to say is that once you revert back to a simplistic state and have pure faith in God (allowing his energies to reflect through you) you will gain the ability to "see" God working through your life. We corrupt our view and understanding of God by trying make things rational/ logical so crucifying our intellect is a step closer to seeing God in our lives.

Can someon explain to me can we be or are we even allowed to be happy in this life? I know suffering helps salvation but can we enjoy life here ?
