“God’s kingdom is coming, but not in a way that you will be able to see with your eyes. People will not say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because God’s kingdom is within you.”

Why isn't the Theotokos in Paradise With the Forerunner John and the Disciples and all the Blessed Saints? Where would she be then? Please explain. Thanks

Perhaps it is because she is helping all the people on Earth right now. The Most Holy Theotokos is on Earth, along with many angels that help her.

@@one_step_sideways Thank you i thought the same. I wonder what she would look like, perhaps ageless.

I really don't agree. Being a criminal all your life and be treated as someone who dedicated life to God and others?! Don't think so. They go yo hell if they did wrong. They have a chance to get out eventually only if someone is praying for him and pay his deeds. Some leave a terrible legacy that will make many fall as well, some will have maybe not the best lives but their legacy will help others ( one writes a book or make a movie that destroy millions - porn, atheist etc, another one builds a fountain that helps dozens or builds a church without being a big believer). Both go to hell, but the fisrt will sink much further due to his legacy because he destroys many souls, the other will raise up from there because people will bless/pray for him because they've got a relief.
The final judgement will put all these in perspective

Life is complex... and God sees everything, all these details... ultimately, God's judgment is not like our judgement...

That's why grace is so offensive to the carnal mind

“My life is a witness to vulgar grace-a grace that amazes as it offends. A grace that pays the eager beaver who works all day long the same wages as the grinning drunk who shows up at ten till five. A grace that hikes up the robe and runs breakneck toward the prodigal reeking of sin and wraps him up and decides to throw a party no ifs, ands or buts. A grace that raises bloodshot eyes to a dying thief’s request-‘Please, remember me’-and assures him, ‘You bet!’ A grace that is the pleasure of the Father, fleshed out in the carpenter Messiah, Jesus the Christ, who left His Father’s side not for heaven’s sake but for our sakes, yours and mine. This vulgar grace is indiscriminate compassion. It works without asking anything of us. It’s not cheap. It’s free, and as such will always be a banana peel for the orthodox foot and a fairy tale for the grown-up sensibility. Grace is sufficient even though we huff and puff with all our might to try to find something or someone it cannot cover. Grace is enough. He is enough. Jesus is enough.”
