In December, 1971, Muhammad Ali visited Switzerland to fight the West German boxer, Jürgen Blin. He arrived ten days early and during this time a camera crew followed him around at press conferences, autograph-signing appearances and training sessions. He is also seen with his children and discussing religion with a friend. Finally the film covers the fight itself. The result is an informal portrait of the boxer and one that shows the different sides of his dynamic personality. -Worldcat

Ali carried himself so well, man, despite all the issues he had to deal with. So talented and driven yet so calm and patient out of the ring. Amazing human being, cannot be replaced.

A Beautiful man with a Beautiful soul. Even though he is gone, he is still alive.
but where's his SOUL today? God's Hand was in Ali's fate. HE said 'put no other god before Me,' and 'i will not share My glory...' [exod. 20 and isaiah 42 respectively]. Ali stated in interview that his goal was to convert THIRTY THOUSAND people to muslim/islam religion. how does that make Jesus Christ Who died for the world's sins and illness feel? was His death in vain?! and all for The Great Deceiver?!
Eye love your comment
2021 I am 63 and everyday I hookup to the Ali system and tap into some recharge for my soul. Ali will always be the greatest in my life
Very much alive can tell you
Not just a great boxer, he was a man with integrity and courage. He spoke the truth about racial and social issues and stood firmly for what he believed. He's not just a great black American, he's a great worldwide figure, a true legend 🥊🥊
His daughters book “ At Home with Mohammad Ali” , which I just finished reading, is a beautiful , poignant, loving book of Ali as a caring, playful, doting father. It was so heartwarming, I cried many times throughout. His divorce from Veronica, she asked for, was unbearable for him. His many love letters showed how much he wanted to try again. It was so sad to read. It’s a great book if you want to see another side of the great Ali.
@@leosunrising thank you so much for your testimonial , I was not aware of this side of his life …..
I loved the way Ali played with his daughter
Ya that was priceless
The greatest of all the boxers in the World, will never be forgotten in the history of World Boxing, there you left a good legacy. San Paul - Brazil.
Ali help a lot of people, he wasn’t perfect ,but he was a great man ...R.I.P to the champ
Have met a prefect man ever lol. But get your point 👍
THE GREATEST......never be another like him

Not in this lifetime or the next! R.I.P CHAMP, YOU ARE TRULY THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMES!!!!!!!!! 1love
“ Fact “!!
yes, the greatest at boxing..only. poems weren't bad either. but his agenda was. he spoke of converting THIRTY THOUSAND people to the enemy. you know God had to dismiss him quick [parkinson's disease, slow and debilitating to deteriorating of the BRAIN!] God's Hand was in Ali's fate. I DIDN'T SAY IT, but GOD, The Creator, said 'put no other god before Me,' and 'i will not share My glory...' [books of Exod and Isaiah respectively].
Muhammad Ali left us with so much footage and I'm thankful for it...
ME TOO😊
Don't depreciate him for he is one of the greatest men of all time
Greatest period ! PEACE!
@@Prowlerook "GREATEST period "
I grew up as a youngster in the 70's watching this mans fights. I was only 8 when I saw the second Frazier fight. He was my dads , uncles and my hero. People dont realise just how huge a celebrity he was at the time of this video. Honesty he was probably the most famous man in the world. He was not formally educated, but far more intelligent than he let on, but also far more naive too...I hope his soul is resting in peace...

Yes, he is the greatest. He was the ultimate boxer & I love it! Put some respect on his name. Thank you reelblack
For him to continue box way beyond his prime for the peoples shows hes the GOAT thank you so much the Greatest Muhammad Ali
I'm from hamburg and Jurgen Blin several times visited the gym I used to went. He had been barkeeper for about 30 years in a small pub called „Jurgen Blins Box-Theke“ you could find directly beside the mainstation subway lines. I think he did a great job in this fight. He is still famous like anybody who can be proud in having been the opponent of the greatest and most famous athlete of the 20th century and the smartest and funniest fighter of all times... Watching Ali joking and showboating always makes me feel good and easy. Love that guy. God bless him.
I wept while watching his televised memorial...iconic Black brother..the GOAT✊🏿
So did I... couldn't get through the whole thing

This is a jewel of a documentary many thanks and is the Dec. 26, 1971 fight vs Juergen Blin in the Hallenstadion Arena, Zurich, Suisse. Needless to add who won.
This is the story about a man
of a powerful punch and blinding speed.
He talks a lot indeed,
With iron fists and a beautiful tan. The boxing game was slowly dying.
And fight promoters were bitterly crying
For someone somewhere to come along
With a better and different tone.
Patterson was dull, quiet and sad,
And Sonny Liston was just as bad.
Along came a kid named Cassius Clay,
Who said, "I'll take Liston's title away."
His athletic genius cannot be denied.
In a very short time,
He spread far and wide.
There's an impression you get
Watching him fight.
He plays cat and mouse.
Then turns out the light.
This colorful fighter is something to see.
And the Greatest Heavyweight Champion
I know he will be. -Muhammad Ali
I really enjoyed your videos. There never was not will there ever be another champ like Muhammad Ali. I met the man and it was the high point of my life to receive my kids on the cheek from the greatest of All Time.. love you Ali. Thank you again and again for this footage. Wow, thank you!
Mis this guy...
confident, wise, handsome, intelligent *BLACK MANHOOD,* is what they always feared.
I'm white and believe me he's a hero to many people so it's disappointing that you feel like his colour defines him...
@@DaveSCameron
Don't take it personal brother.
@@DaveSCameron
Your reply proves MF Doom’s comment.
Ali was a Black man and was proud.
You define yourself as white, but none of this is about you or your feelings.
You have a choice as to wether or not to define yourself by your color. Others have had that choice made for them for centuries.
If you consider him a hero, great.
But you can’t choose how define him.
His power, his Black Masculinity, is what made white folks uncomfortable. And it seems that it still does.
@@DaveSCameron ...it was back in the 70s you know that right? you understand that him being able to become a public figure whilst being black is a huge achievement back then and now right? being black and loved by the public is a challenging thing, even Mohamed wasn't allowed to use the bathroom in a plane he was on buuuut as you said, you're white so you wouldn't see that since it doesn't apply to you. just watch the video.
Hea man, I'm white, l don't fear black manhood , l praise it, as brotherhood ,your the one who fears out of ignorance at best and racism at worst, if you are a man, apolitical for your mistakes
TY for this, RB✊🏾
Just the inspiration I needed, on a lazy Saturday afternoon 🙏🏾 #lifechanging
ALI WILL FOREVER BE THE GREATEST (in heart, spirit & mind)
Damn, Muhammad Ali could run, never seen him do it before, only jog doing his road work. I bet he could've played football if he had wanted to, he had the size and the speed to play...
Well, when he was in high school, more than a few colleges were interested him for football since he was a great all-around athlete. The man was 6’3 and 220 lbs in his prime. Some big 10 coach thought Ali would’ve been the ULTIMATE tight end because of his size and speed. If he HAD played, the guys In Ali’s age range who redefined the position-namely Mike Ditka and John Mackey-might’ve been omitted from NFL lore. He could’ve been Kellen Winslow, Sr. 10-15 years BEFORE Kellen Winslow, Sr.
@@Odawg96 In 1967, Vince Lombardi, in fact said, "You know, that Ali could have been a great tight end."
That was pretty cool to watch! Not an interview, or questioned before a planned camera setting! But rather like , a day in the life with Ali! And to see him as a dad mixed in,, to see he is also a regular man behind the international hero we all seen on tv,,, this video was pretty darn cool to watch! Thank you!

@@ikeknight3535 Floyd mayweather couldn't lace Ali's shoes... mayweather faced weak fighters past their prime like a coward
@@ikeknight3535 I'm measuring the total man when I say the greatest all time. His impact exceeds the ring.
@@kevinnewton5460 that's right but you can just forget about Floyd Mayweather being the greatest defensive boxers of all time. Mayweather is undefeated. You can say the same for Muhammad Ali. That's why I said he's the Greatest of that era and Floyds the G.O.A.T in this era/generation. And you can't forget about Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson would've knocked Muhammad Ali to sleep if he was in Ali's era. Then you got Roy Jones Jr who was arguably one of the greatest in his prime. C'mon now my guy. You are missing the point. There is always gonna be a G.O.A.T in every generation. I'll even put Deontey Wilder up there even tho he lost some fights. But he still has time to redeem himself. He's still young. Oh and last thing I would like to mention once Mayweather beats Logan Paul then there is nothing else for Mayweather to prove to anybody at all. He's gonna beat his brother as well. And whoever else wants to catch those hands. Those are UA-camrs, not professional fighters at all.

Wonderful! Thank you!
Before Ali boxing was kinda like it is now. Nowhere!!
I am as huge an Ali as anyone ever, but that is not true. Boxing was in much better shape before Ali than it is today. Before Ali, everyone in America and the whole world, in general, knew the name of the Heavyweight champ. Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Floyd Patterson were heroes to millions. But Ali took boxing to a much higher level, of course. Now, very few people, less than one percent, I am sure, know the name of the heavyweight champ - even though there are probably three or four people all claiming to be champ at the present time..
@@miraclemeditations3919 I stand corrected
@@billhoare7404Before Ali the biggest sports were baseball, boxing and horse racing. Muhammad Ali did take boxing to another level like you said
