I just discovered your channel. Only wish I was young again to have this type of lifestyle/adventure. Thinking of doing it anyways when I retire in 2 more years. Thank you for sharing and getting to see all the ups and downs of it. Stay safe and wishing you the best recovery with your knee.
For someone as active, and young as yourself, this is a big issue. I hope you improve, and recover as fast as possible! I remember your video when you met Camper, he just found you. I think you two were destined to be together! I have so much respect for you taking in this beautiful dog that was lost and alone, and giving him love, and a home. You always leave a sign on your car to let others know that Camper has A/C, and water. I enjoy watching your videos, have a great day!
Im praying for you. Some years ago i completely lost my ability to walk and its been a long journey back through recovery. I send you strength and courage. You got this Im in Fayetteville if you and Camper wanna come for ziplock salads and ice cream 🤗😊

I feel your pain on the knee issue. I will tell you the PRP injection does it magic. i had a partial replacement on my left in 2017 with the PRP. Over the years I have noticed the improvement. Less pain over the years and more mobility. Especially at the age of 50. I also had the meniscus repair last summer with the PRP on my right, have had no issues since. I love these videos. Really appreciate sharing the journey with us all. Camper is AWESOME!! It's hilarious to watch him chasing squirrels!. Stay safe and take care of that knee. Safe travels friend.
Great video as usual 🥰 I pray 🙏 ur knee heals and no more pain. Thanks for sharing and being so real on ur vids. Glad camper is always by ur side 😇 too.
I severely sprained my right knee slalom water skiing. Luckily, it just required for me to wear a full leg splint and was back skiing by the following summer. Hang in there Niki.
Nikki, I truly admire your courage on this trip and everyone before today. You continue to inspire us no matter what the situation. I hope the injection works in the knee. Sorry we missed you in North Carolina. Best, Brennan and my dog Precious.
My heart goes out to you Nikki. I've had total replacement of both knees, after doing shots and minor repairs over the past few years. I'm sending a get well hug to you and a scratch behind the ears for Camper! Hope you feel better soon, and that the shots work. Take care, and stay safe!

Aww this is a series of unfortunate events, so sorry. Hope it all turns around for you and that you and Camper can keep exploring! I’m traveling out of my suv with my pup and we’re getting ready to head out to Montana. Being sick or your dog being sick on the road is a whole different kind of suck! Sending good vibes your way🙏
The first time I had an injection under my kneecap my dad nearly passed out, I ended up with a knee replacement at 46. I used to have injections/spinal blocks, in to my spine, they used to make me cry, then after that I used to have nerve denervation in my lumbar region, they put these big thick needles in then heat them up, I had 18 the last time, all in the same visit! 😢 I hope you have a speedy recovery. ❤️🇬🇧
I have followed you and Camper for a while now and love your attitude looking for fun and adventure. Your adventures are something I look forward to weekly. I truly pray your knee will get better and you can continue being whole and healthy as you deserve it.
The psychological pain can be just as bad. As I said before "I've been there". Keep fighting, keep your head up. I just waited 6 months to get a ct scan in British Columbia.
I’m what many would consider a super type A personality and a control freak (which can be exhausting, but my fear of uncertainty drives my behaviors). This channel is surprisingly therapeutic for me - it allows me to see that I don’t always need to plan out every aspect of my life, and things will still be okay.
Just want to say good luck and to have a healthy and full recovery! It's been fun watching you and Camper with both of your energies on your trip living across the country. While nothing beats going there in person, your videos have been filling my void of traveling to all the different places across the country without having to travel. lol Keep your spirits high (not that kind of spirits!) and I'm sure you'll get through this hurdle in your life, one way or another. We're all rooting for you!
Thank you for that idea!!! We ALL have been there, and it is not pleasant - at all! Then, to top it off, Nikki, is trying to film it all: Knee problems/ multiple doctor visits; food poisoning; leaving her car at a friend's house, then having to drive back!; taking care of Camper, while trying to not overwork her knee...! Love to All of Us - and Nikki and Camper! Thank you, again for the idea of the carbon - I'm putting it on my shopping list!!
I think you are amazing living in such a small space, I know how hard it must be as I am full time in my very small RV what we call a campervan in the UK. At least I can stand up in it. You are amazing to look so fabulous and have such a positive attitude to life. I hope the knee is better real soon.xx
I had this surgery. I injured myself playing hockey. 6 month recovery for me then a brace afterward for awhile. It's better now but it was a long haul. Some people bounce back real fast unfortunately I wasn't one of them. Either way, you will be better .....best of luck to you.
I have a 35 year old torn/trimmed meniscus I had PRP injections done yesterday in my knees and I did a five-mile hike this morning in the Hills near my house my pain and stiffness was so much better even after just one day, I'm looking forward to the four to six-week period for maximum results
Praying for no surgery! I am grounded from travel too. Had hoped to travel in my Prius to AZ in Jan to escape Colorado cold weather. God had other plans. Caught covid Jan 7 and 3 mos later still struggling with long haul covid extreme fatigue. No sense traveling when I’d spend much of the time sleeping in my car. My mom used to say, “This too will pass”. Truth! Neither good or bad times last forever. So I’m at home making lemonade out of lemons. For me this means, pursuing artistic endeavors - drawing, painting, macrame. And living a Prius RV life vicariously by watching you and Camper! Hang in there kiddo - your body wants to heal and will! (So does mine!) Hugs!
I feel so bad for you and camper to. It will get better and you will have a good knee again. Miss watching you tube all the time and seeing all your videos. Hi Camper..
Started watching you when Camper found you just blew me away. No matter what Camper will be there with you good times or bad. He is like the emotinal support guy you really need cause no matter what he has taken you under his wing and will love you no matter what. Hang in there and best of luck with knee.
I've had knee injections myself. It is no picnic. As a Registered Nurse, I had assisted with your procedure on many patients. I've lent a hand for the patient to squeeze. Some had very strong grips. Prayers for rapid healing to your knee.
So sorry to hear about your injury I hope you feel better. The good news is out of all the injuries you could get meniscus has a good outcome of healing and you should be able to do a lot of your daily activities with some brief rehab.
I totally feel you. I always get second opinions for my knee. I had to see three doctors till one finally agreed it needed surgery (for later this year). This will be the third time someone tries to fix it. Stem cell is good for some stuff. ACL replacement is good for others. Hope you feel better!
Oh no, so many unfortunate things happening at once. I wish you all the best and a super speedy recovery! I've just discovered your channel a few days ago and am watching all your old videos as I sit at home with covid - they are bringing me a lot of joy :)
I don't actually believe anything is unfortunate No accidents, coincidences or mistakes Everything has a reason and purpose Everything, Everyone's lessons and journey is just different🙏❤️🕯️🌹💜
Shout out to you, Nikki! I appreciate your honesty; it's nice to see the upside and downside to your way of life. I am also someone who chose a different path... not so much as in my living situation, but career-wise. I left corporate accounting to start my own pet-sitting & grooming business. I love the flexibility that I have, which is why I changed careers. Tbh, I miss PTO and I miss the respect that being an accountant afforded me. I didn't even realize the respect I had, until I didn't have it. It does feel like now people talk down to me, like all of a sudden I dropped 20 IQ points because I changed my job. Idk, people think I couldn't hack accounting, even though I was in it for 20 years or they think I'm doing this because my husband doesn't make enough. I mostly don't care, but I kind of do when I get comments on what a nice car I have or what a nice home I have... like why wouldn't I have nice things? I just don't get it. Most people are just going through life, working 40-60+ hours a week, kissing butts and dealing with management BS, corporate policies, etcetera, and it's just not for me. What most people don't understand is that I just want to live my life authentically, doing what makes me happy. Flexibility and working with animals is what makes me happy. Don't let the masses of people that don't understand you get you down. Keep on doing you! I think you're great and I'm impressed that you found what truly makes you happy so early in life! Your videos inspire me to get out there in my SUV and go exploring with my husband!! 😊
Please be safe, I got approached in my car the other night (I packed for car camping but was staying with family) I was meeting my parents for a drink after a funeral and parked in the wrong parking lot next to the Pub for less than 30 seconds before the incident occurred…. I got blocked into a parking lot by 2 newer Honda civics (the windows looked tinted) in downtown Fredericksburg. 4 people were visible in the cars… a women screaming at me in one car with a passenger , and a man from a separate car approached me, claiming to be there to help me.. Please be safe. Little things saved me. God bless you and camper! Obviously you do this stuff so you take precautions. But I was scared shitless. I’m glad my pup wasn’t with me. Get a car camera if you can….
I kept my cool, didn’t swear, just had a mild panic attack, gave them NO other reason to approach me. STAYED IN MY CAR. window was half way up. Did grab my mace or knife or phone. The littlest things gave me the biggest advantages. My car was my weapon. Much love to you! Be safe!

Omg I was wondering if your new Prius video was inspired by Nikki but I hadn’t had a chance to watch yet, was super busy with work this week! I’m on my way to watch now! Hi Levi & Leah!
Let me say this, at the time of the beginning of this procedure it is the bleakest of what things can look like, you have lived your whole life feeling somewhat invulnerable and now you're not so certain. That is 1000% percent normal, I know this cause it's how I felt just before my surgery to remove two of my toes, which lead to that night taking 1/2 of my right foot. 6 years later after many restarts due to internal blisters and cellulitis from open wounds. My life is finally entertaining completion. The foot is the hardest cause of it's location. I know you are someone who is capable of reaching and attaining those goals, look to your past life. You're not alone, you have plenty of friends and family to help you out on this step in life. And thankfully your job can allow you to work from any location, sitting or laying down while you heal. All of your fans are going to be behind your progress and will be 10000% understanding of the why's and how's of your future UA-cam/TikTok/Social Media Empire..lol kidding... but we got your 6 on this. No stressing out and recover at your own pace. Colby Jack the Husky says you got this
S**t happens dear! Occasionally stay in a hotel if you can, it really recharges your battery. You can take a nice hot bath and sleep in a real 🛌 bed! Hope you take my advice and I wish you all the best Give Camper a treat for me!
I'm so sorry this happened to you Nikki. I know you're suffering. I'm praying for your complete 100 % recovery. Your injury is a more difficult situation, as you are highly active - even above the average healthy person I would estimate, so it's even more keenly felt on your part. 🥺 Unfortunately, there is a high degree of professional incompetance in the Medical Profession. The Medical Profession is number two, after the Legal Profession, with high rates of incompetance. The number three profession with high rates of incompetance is the construction industry. You obviously understand this whole situation is greatly exascerbated by living in close quarters in your vehicle, which goes back to my central point that living in your vehicle has a negative impact on your health. I wound up getting really ill living in my car after about the six month mark, with both circulatory and general health issues, including great logistical difficulties being able to maintain a high enough, reasonable level of personal hygene. I want to encourage you to please stop roaming the countryside and find a decent basement or condo style apartment to rent in your favorite State until you re-establish your health back to the level at which you began your adventure - P.S. There can be lasting effects from food poisoning, such as, both renal, and liver, and digestive track issues. I encourage you to go see a general practitioner and get a full check up, including blood work.
You are so right, Mr. Job. It can be very difficult for people to spend all of their times in such a small and enclosed space. I had a friend that got really sick -- just like you. He had to spend weeks after weeks deep inside of a tank during the Gulf War, and they couldn't get out of the tank for almost 48 hours to 60 hours at a time. They all had to take turns using the restroom in very strange and weird ways, and all of the time, the sand was blowing so bad outside ... That, when they did go out, many orifices of their body would get sand in them. So, all of them finally came down with multiple illnesses that got them honorable discharges. Yes, you do speak the truth. So glad that you are helping others to understand what can go wrong and why it's such a bad idea to live in a nomadic situation. Thanks for saying what I was fearful of talking about, because I just don't like thinking of how very sick my friend got and had to spend many months recovering, once he got back into the States. Thus, I sure hope that you are better now, but you are right. Sometimes, things like you or him got, will last with you for the rest of your life, and there are not really any treatments for them -- other than not getting them in the first place. For my Buddy, I do think that he has some prolonged kidney disease and somewhat extensive circulatory damage that just isn't getting better. But, hopefully, you didn't develop the same things, because they stay with you and just aren't able to be that easily treated. Anyway, sorry for chatting so much ... just glad to hear from someone who really understands and knows what can happen to someone in less than healthy circumstances.
I had a severe knee injury back in the days. It never got better even after 20 years. But i still workout & Hike. I push through the pain daily. Injections & surgery didn’t help. Stay positive & push through 💪🏼💪🏼

I’m traveling out of my suv with my pup and we’re getting ready to head out to Montana. Being sick or your dog being sick on the road is a whole different kind of suck! Sending good vibes your way🙏
Whatever you do. Do not go to Billings! its a shit hole
So true 😉
I commend you on your positive spirit - hope you are able to heal up well.
Get well soon beautiful thing.
Take it slow and focus on recovering. With patience and PT, you will get there.
While nothing beats going there in person, your videos have been filling my void of traveling to all the different places across the country without having to travel. lol
Keep your spirits high (not that kind of spirits!) and I'm sure you'll get through this hurdle in your life, one way or another. We're all rooting for you!
Always keep with you activated charcoal capsules. They're easy to get a hold of you can buy them even in Walmarts. They really help a lot.
You’re a breath of fresh air and sending healing thoughts your way ☺️🙏🏻☀️
Nikki, I pray you find the relief you are seeking; being in pain is no fun at all! 🙏🏻😢🙏🏻
So sorry you are having such trouble and pain. Big hugs for you. 🤗💕
God bless you Nikki hope everything turns out okay with you with your knee and everything. 🙏🏻🌹🌹🤟👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I am a Doctor and I agree with you, Doctors can be very frustrating for sure. Sometimes I think it a big business and people are caught in the middle.
I've had a tear repaired before and wish I hadn't because it was worse than before the surgery.
Hope this procedure works for you. ❤
I've had knee injections myself. It is no picnic. As a Registered Nurse, I had assisted with your procedure on many patients. I've lent a hand for the patient to squeeze. Some had very strong grips. Prayers for rapid healing to your knee.
Assisted on PRP? KEN
Sorry to hear you having a rough time! I love your channel! Keep up the awesome work!
Your attitude towards everything is awesome! Car life is quite fun!
I’m happy to see you’re doing great these days 👏👍. Camper is the coolest Dog I’ve ever seen.
Get better. A lovely lady and such an awesome little sidekick. Take care
Oh no, so many unfortunate things happening at once. I wish you all the best and a super speedy recovery! I've just discovered your channel a few days ago and am watching all your old videos as I sit at home with covid - they are bringing me a lot of joy :)
I don't actually believe anything is unfortunate
No accidents, coincidences or mistakes
Everything has a reason and purpose
Everything,
Everyone's lessons and journey is just different🙏❤️🕯️🌹💜
You have an extremely active lifestyle! Take it easy and take care of yourself! Give yourself time to heal! Good Luck!
Good luck with the PRP and speedy healing!
Sending happy/positive thoughts and hope the healing improves with the PRP shot! Camper can run things while you recover. 🐆
Hope you’re feeling better Nikki and all goes well! Sending, prayers, love and hugs, keep smiling! ❤️🤗
My dog Buddy absolutely Loves squirrels... I really need to take him to this park! A real fenced in dog heaven!
I love that dog park! Always meet the best people and dogs there.
Be safe!
That’s awful and the things that puts me off car camping, thanks for sharing, keep safe.
@@tonifoster1835 definitely! Be aware of your rights to yourself and YOUR property! Huge wake up call for me! And Using the experience to learn from the best I can! Working with my family and friends to get educated on gun control before any big trips now! Grateful for so many factors in it, Especially God!
@@wtevrpunk "...gave them no other reason to approach me" - stayed in my car"!!!!!!
Great thinking - good for you!! As you suspect something was def. up, since they pretended to " help you"!!! You got out your phone, had spray at the ready, had your window open ONLY part way, in case you had to use anything you had to defend yourself...! 🤯🤯👏👏👏👍👍💪💯💯
So many types of scammers and/or psychopaths out there...
I'm sorry that happened to you, but glad you came out of it okay!!! Hugs!
Had two tendons in my elbow surgically repaired and had PRP. Feel your pain. Stay strong.
Your dog camper is very lucky to have you as his mom and we all see that you both are inseparable and enjoying your life together.
Oh man... Leah and I are just getting over covid and could not imagine being sick in a car. Hopefully this means no sickness for the future!
Omg I was wondering if your new Prius video was inspired by Nikki but I hadn’t had a chance to watch yet, was super busy with work this week! I’m on my way to watch now! Hi Levi & Leah!
I take 2 high dose Visbiome acidophilus daily (it's $60 a month but well worth it), and I NEVER get sick.
Positive vibes your procedures go well, rest when you can, and hopefully, they will follow up with therapy for the injuries.
Take care of yourself! Love your videos 🥰 always look forward to your adventures.
I hope the injection works ❤️
Camper has the best human! Luckiest dog! Every dog she be this happy!💕
I had a severe knee injury back in the days. It never got better even after 20 years. But i still workout & Hike. I push through the pain daily. Injections & surgery didn’t help. Stay positive & push through 💪🏼💪🏼
