I loved this video. I love east coast small town cities. I'm a native Texan, but Dad was from Massachusetts. So as a kid I spent a lot of time up there. Some beautiful country and great folks. I love you guys joined in on the clean up. We all need to do our part. A clean earth is so much more enjoyable. I drove a trip from Texas to Seattle, driving Honda Civic 4 cylinder up through central United States. Blew a water pump in Seattle from driving through Montana, Wyoming and Idaho along with those mountain side roads Seattle. It was over a weekend. Had to wait till L.A. to get it fixed. I would advise any vehicle with less than a V6 to handle vertical slopes. Be safe out there

FYI On Camper running under the garage door. Ever since our garage door spring broke and that heavey door came down, You never know when this can happen. Hi Nikki...I lack cartilage in my knees and was suffering aches and pains. I strengthen the quads to support the knees, but found that rubbing DMSO into the knees has really helped with the aching and has lessened the inflammation. Rub it on with a glove and test it on your skin first, because it can be irritating. I purchased it at the health food store. Hope this helps!!! 😃

Nikki, I know you'll be happy for me. I'm the 67 yo lady veteran who moved out into her Camry in May 2021. I've been despairing of gas prices as we all have, as with idling my car almost all the time for AC, I've been having to fill up my tank every 3 days. Yikes!! So now I just found out I'm getting an $11,000 inheritance this summer, so I'm going to trade my Camry in on a Sienna hybrid!!! I'm so happy, and now it looks like I'll be finally getting out of Colorado in August. Now I hope good fortune will also happen for you with your knee and car problems too.

She just felt she should pass some of the wealth that she's acquired to her cousins, which is very generous of her. And shame on you for the disparaging words about Nikki. Also, Vermont is VERY dog friendly. We took our bulldog there to Dog Mountain after the other dog passed to leave a a photo in the chapel there. They have a church where you can leave photos of dogs and cats that have passed with notes. There are also many hiking trails. We also went to Stowe Vermont where our bulldog rode the gondola to the top of the mountain. We also took the bulldog to the Vermont Country Store. There are so many great places to bring dogs in Vermont!
I grew up very close to where you did, and it was a nice treat to see the old stomping grounds, and Captain's Cove in particular! Thanks for documenting the trip home.

Hey Nikki, I’m going by myself on a six week road trip out west in my Toyota Avalon in September. I will be staying mostly in National Park campgrounds sleeping in my car and not a tent. I’ll remove the front passenger seat and have a flat platform for a bed.My question for you is do I need to bring a 12 volt refrigerator in my car? On past trips like this I have usually eaten from food bought at grocery stores and occasional restaurants. But now I’m considering buying a small 12 volt fridge to keep food. What is your advice for this? Thanks

Until Feb 2021, I was a resident of CT and I am glad I cam across your video (and your channel). I met some of the most friendly people through my work in CT and watching your videos definitely took me back to summer days i used to enjoy. My work being a mostly 9 to 5 one, I find your lifestyle and your outlook of the world refreshing and enviously enough, freeing. Please keep doing what you do. May you succeed in whatever you have planned next for yourself.

Nikki, if you're still in CT, MilkCraft makes ice cream on the spot that's pretty tasty (I'm not affiliated with them, I just ate their once with the family and enjoyed it). Perfect weather for it! Lastly, I hear you on the car buying situation. It's...nuts. The good news (if there is any) is that it's a great time to sell a car.

Nikki, I know you'll be happy for me. I'm the 67 yo lady veteran who moved out into her Camry in May 2021. I've been despairing of gas prices as we all have, as with idling my car almost all the time for AC, I've been having to fill up my tank every 3 days. Yikes!! So now I just found out I'm getting an $11,000 inheritance this summer, so I'm going to trade my Camry in on a Sienna hybrid!!! I'm so happy, and now it looks like I'll be finally getting out of Colorado in August. Now I hope good fortune will also happen for you with your knee and car problems too.
@Xi Li I hope Nikki will block you. And this inheritance is coming from a cousin who is very much alive. She just felt she should pass some of the wealth that she's acquired to her cousins, which is very generous of her. And shame on you for the disparaging words about Nikki. She has too much class and integrity to hook up with a sugar daddy.
Also, Vermont is VERY dog friendly. We took our bulldog there to Dog Mountain after the other dog passed to leave a a photo in the chapel there. They have a church where you can leave photos of dogs and cats that have passed with notes. There are also many hiking trails. We also went to Stowe Vermont where our bulldog rode the gondola to the top of the mountain. We also took the bulldog to the Vermont Country Store. There are so many great places to bring dogs in Vermont!

Yay !!....Hotel Prius is back !! It's good to have a designated driver, but mom has to pull double-duty, she has to babysit all three of you. Camper was so excited to see you. You hold Camper like a Lhasa Apso, he is a medium size dog. But I do understand how much you luv him, so all is forgiven, hehe. Luv your family, a lot of fun n adventure 'always', have a good week !!

I’m going by myself on a six week road trip out west in my Toyota Avalon in September. I will be staying mostly in National Park campgrounds sleeping in my car and not a tent. I’ll remove the front passenger seat and have a flat platform for a bed.My question for you is do I need to bring a 12 volt refrigerator in my car? On past trips like this I have usually eaten from food bought at grocery stores and occasional restaurants. But now I’m considering buying a small 12 volt fridge to keep food. What is your advice for this? Thanks

Wow, how exciting , Camper was so happy !! I have a 2010 Prius, when my lights went off it was the main battery..Toyota did give me a break for it.
