I've had this device for six months, and while using it gave temp relief, your tip of doing the chin tucks WHILE it's inflated is the first time I've ever felt a benefit from doing them. Fantastic tip, subbed!!
I had severe neck pain due to pinched nerves, cervical stenosis, and arthritis. My P.A. recommended this to help ease the pain, and I tell you I was so grateful! It allowed me to actually open my eyes when I was in such pain. Just an FYI: my P.A. quit and I have seen several others since and none of them knew about this device, which surprised me. I finally got mine today and cried in relief I can’t believe it finally 10 months of agony and being dizzy etc since I was hit while at a red light and now I could actually breath and play with the kids without being in agony
Pro tip from somebody who lives with this thing. A slight rotation of the 'open' end to the left, would force the stretch to lean your head to the left, stretching the right side slightly, in the event the right side is the one giving you probems. Just rotate the tool so the open end is close to or below your ear, lean into it when you're inflating, and you'll feel a different thing than when it's alignged straight forward. My situation is a C5 pinch that basically took out my right arm completely. Can't brush teeth, lift anything or even raise that arm close to being parallel to the ground. Just starting in on this project about a week ago, I'll update if something good happens, after including the exercises as well.
I purchased mine the other day and has been absolutely brilliant, I had a pinched nerve in my neck/ shoulder area which was hindering internal rotation of my shoulder and since using it , it has helped immensely getting getting movement back into my shoulder- I would recommend getting one if you have any neck / shoulder issues
Awesome video and the brace works exactly how he says. I've used it several times for arthritis and maybe a pinched nerve. It keeps the head stable and gives a nice traction to take any pressure off the neck. Great value for the money.

By the way, you can actually remove the bulb and tube while wearing the collar. There is a ball in the top of the in the tube that can be manoeuvred into place to seal the tube and then the majority of tube and the bulb can be removed. You are left with only a very short length of tube that doesn’t get in the way
I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it is brilliant. Combined with exercises, my neck pain has eased off quite a lot. I have bulging discs in my neck and, although very uncomfortable, it actually takes the pressure off and gives me relief for up to 1 hour and a half after using. I know that doesn't seem a lot, but believe me, I'm just glad to get some pain relief.
One chip is you can remove the bubble blow it up the way you would blow up any inflatable toy, then reattach the bubble to make minor adjustments instead of pumping at 110 times which is what it took me to fully inflate it
Hello my friend… I will have one of these in four days I ordered from Amazon… I must have a pinched nerve my neck also hurts… But I get like electricity shooting down my arm when I move my neck to the left my left arm hates it… I have a question when you said pinched nerve what did it affect on you? I'm trying to learn and thank you so much
I tried this as a recommendation from my osteopath... for reducing severe pain in my neck from an improper chiropractic adjustment (atlas to C3) that left me with... restricted and painful rotational movements, headaches, feeling like I have steel cables along side my neck, through the jaw bone, behind the ears, and into the temples. I found that the pressure caused in my head from this neck traction device when it was inflated.... gave me a severe migraine (felt like my head was going to explode).... and did not help my neck pain at all.
First let thank you for your detailed explanation in the video, but i have 3 questions: 1- For how long we should leave it inflated? For example and hour a day? 2- How i can know how much should i inflate it? (I don't want to inflate it too much, or less than it should be) 3- Can i sleep wearing it? Thank you in advance

Hi there. I had vertebral artery dissection from neck manipulation that led to brainstem stroke… Would this be safe for me? I have cervical radiculopathy that is pretty disabling and I want to try anything I can
Have a lot of spine damage up to c5. looks good; my pain is in the ulnar nerves mostly but I liked the Halo. think I'll try it just to hold up my head.
I hope this is helping. I bought it last year but found it doesn't seem to evenly move my head up both front and back. But I am tucking it into the back of my head. I do feel a coolness back there...which is either a pinch or a release, perhaps. The ball pump stopped working well and the ball comes off. However, it is still workable if I pump it from a particular angle.
I've been using one for about a month and I like it but I used it last night and I don't know what I did wrong but I have excruciating pain in my neck now. I'm scared to move because if I do the pain is unbearable. I don't know if a nerve is pinched or a muscle got pulled but this pain is out of control. My neck pain was a permanent 5 and up to 7 or 8 on bad days but now it's a resting 9 up to 14 if I try to move. I can't sleep or lie down I don't know what to do.
can i do neck extension exercise with this? I really need to hear your answer. I want to strengthen the muscles at the back of my neck due to cervical kyphosis while maintaining the neck curve.
tried a couple of these traction devices. They just squeeze my neck so I can't breath. A waste IMO. I will try another one similar that you don't blow up put crank up.
Do you have any Treatment or exercise for vertigo? I have. Episodes of sever Vertege And I have unalance That creates so much nozia and vomiting. Does anyone know some treatments for vertigo ( vertiges)
I'd say maybe a 1/2 hour to an hour at a time. One concern with these is that people become reliant on it holding their neck up for them and it eventually makes their neck weaker. Doing the chin tucks while wearing is a great idea.
Didn't work for me. It's actually clumsy when it is lifting your head. Then it puts a lot of pressure on and around your head and jaw. Ended up with a headache. Perhaps I was doing wrong but it's not something I could recommend.
@@AnthonyScalzilli adapter, diagnosed it. But really, you don’t need a doctor to tell you if you have frozen shoulder or not. If you can’t lift your arm forward, to the side, or put your hand behind your back without getting ‘zinged’ with pain, you are frozen. Frozen shoulder literally means that. The shoulder joint is so inflamed, the arm becomes impossible to move. Like you’ve hit a barrier.
Just make sure you don't put the straps too tight and don't pump it up too much and it's great. Start gentle and make sure it's actually under your chin and not squeezing your cheeks up. The first few times I used it I pumped it up too much and it felt like my eyes were going up pop out.
Hi Doctor, I wanted to know how many minutes I can use it at maximum pressure? Is it okay to wear it for long trips in car or is it better not to get your neck used to a support? thank you very much
I enjoy your video and thank you for this… I have a question how long should you where it and how many times a day… That was two questions sorry. Can you please help me… If somebody else can answer please do. I ordered one it should be here in a couple days
Can I wear it at night while sleeping, because that's when it hurts a lot, and I toss and turn and wake up with pain? I feel like any relief gained during the day is setback at night. Thanks.
Thank you for your videos!!! Mine showed up today. I'm wearing it as I type this. My first thoughts were how far is safe to inflate. I assume it's probably not strong enough to cause further damage before the pain tells me to stop. I haven't had feeling in my index finger in about 6 months. Physio and massage got me out of the acute pain i was in. Now I want to be able to function again. My biggest issue now that the pain is gone is I have no strength in my triceps on my left arm. I went from bench pressing over 200 lbs to now just 95 lbs for a set of 8 or so reps. I'm looking to someday get back to weightlifting and running, but I'm concerned about impact of jogging (up to 2 or 3 hours in duration). I'll keep using this 2-3 times a day for 30 min each, as you recommend, as well as the chin tuck exercises. I've stopped taking all meds (pain killers and muscle relaxers) about 2 weeks ago and still feel ok. I'm not much for pills, but do you think the muscle relaxers would aid in this treatment? If I'm looking to strengthen the neck muscles, I'm supposing I don't want to be on relaxers....counter productive kinda thing eh. Thoughts?
Here are my thoughts since you asked. I have cervical radiculopathy with a pinched nerve between my C5 & C6 disc in my neck. I have numbness in my right hand ring finger and pinky and on two separate occasions when attempting to rebound (mini-trampoline) my numbness got worse and in fact I experienced a new problem which was achalasia (difficulty swallowing). Usually when this occurs, it only lasts for 30 minutes or less but recently after rebounding I went through a full 24 hours without being able to swallow even water. So, if you are still continuing to jog, I would wear the neck brace while jogging. It may not look cool but it will help offset the downward force on your neck and in theory prevent further pinching of the nerve. I've dealt with this for over 5 years now. My MD recommended I get surgery or risk paralysis. I do not want surgery so I am doing all the exercises and using the inflatable whenever I rebound or ski. Good luck!
i purchased mine after watching your video. I've had pinched nerve, neck pain, shoulder pain and this product is absolutely brilliant. My question is how long do i keep it on? I usually keep it on for 20mins and after that i feel discomfort. Do i need hot or cold pack after using the device. Thanks
I just got that device. I'm using it for the first time, and went to do a "double chin" and I could feel a little pressure on the disc that I'm having issues with. Should I wait to do that experience?
One tip is you can remove the bubble blow it up the way you would blow up any inflatable toy, then reattach the bubble to make minor adjustments instead of pumping at 110 times which is what it took me to fully inflate it, unless you want to use it to strengthen your hands lol
Hi Ijungee, There could be several reasons why it’s not working for you, and size might be one of them. It’s hard to say without seeing you use it. However, we do have a neck pain help playlist that might be more beneficial for you. You can check it out here: “Neck Pain Help” ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mZRNE4rwpxvE_tM1na_9kAm.html Start with one or two exercises, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not. We wish you all the best in your road to recovery. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Thank you hermano. I have seen a lot of your videos these past few days as i suffered. They have been very helpful but I am a gordo so these exercises are not that convenient for me. i needed something that i can use to hold my neck. These exercises knock the wind out of me and cause me more tension. Was hoping to find something that i can relax my body as it stretches my neck to relieve this pinched neck nerve and also relieve my ulnar nerve. You are great! I am new to your channel. Discovered you in the suggested videos after watching the legendary Bob and Brad exercises.
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy I am like your size. Maybe im just not putting it on right but im pretty sure i am, or maybe the product is faulty. Anyhow the pain in my neck and pinched nerve is gone after sleeping on a rolled towel under behind my neck. but i am left with damaged nerve on my right arm, I think its the ulnar nerve. Flossing exercises have helped but it starts all over again ever morning. Gracias amigo
Received my unit today I could not wait to try it out. So far it has really helped to eliminate the neck, shoulder and arm pain as well as the "numbness" in my arm and fingers. Time will tell but it looks good so far.
Hi Mr Jermness, It's a good question to ask! When used correctly, the inflatable cervical traction device should not put direct pressure on the carotid artery. However, it's essential to follow the instructions carefully and make sure the device is properly positioned. If you ever feel lightheaded or notice any unusual symptoms while using it, it's best to stop immediately and consult with a healthcare professional. Your safety is the priority! We wish you all the best! Please take care. 🙌
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy thank you for the advice and your videos have helped. I wish I was closer I'd come to your office. At the moment I'm getting Atlas bone adjustments that are helping me but thought I'd try this for when I can't see the doc who is an hour away from where I live. Again thanks and God Bless.
Tossed the one I ordered in the trash. It does not just extend the neck but also squeezes the neck. The extension is not parallel to the spine, but has a tendency of applying uneven pressure. This caused me more pain after using it.
You did it wrong. Make sure it's not tight, make sure it is under your chin and don't pump it up too much. I almost stopped using mine because I was pumping it up way too much and choking myself. Just pump it up until it gives a little support
Hey Lola, in general, it is safe to use several times throughout the day. However if you have any neck injuries it's important to seek advice from your healthcare provider.
Hey S M Abdul Haque! So unfortunately there is no way to completely treat a condition like cervical spinal stenosis. To answer your question, this device can be extremely helpful in improving your condition and possibly provide you with a significant amount of relief. It is worth giving inflatable cervical traction a try as it could potentially benefit you but it is not going to fully treat the problem. We would like to provide you with more resources that you can find worthwhile and possibly helpful. Here are two playlists for you: “Cervical (Neck) Stenosis Help” ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mbB6MFKdws1vpjbW_jyXB5y.html “Cervical (Neck) Disc Herniation Help” ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mbqKvMOYeNyP0sqAZr9XocN.html We hope to hear more about your progress in the near future! 😄
That's what I used to Unlock My Atlas. Hard core chin tucks, too. If, you unlock something. Seizures can be triggered. Unlocking the Atlas is very hard to do. Seizures can occur from any upper cervical unlock/unhang. You have to crank it through the nose bleeds to clear all the Nerves and Temple Artery. Un smash your eardrum. Unlocking your Atlas comes with Seizures, Un growth of Spinal Distortion and is not hardware friendly. There's a lot more. if, you have Seizures? This could be your answer.
@ Julie Ellis. I just checked on Amazon and there are about five different kinds of the same device. Made by different manufacturers. The one I chose has a return option.
Really hoping youll reply- does this help cervical kyphosis? I had 2 neck adjustments (side ways not straight like this) and the 2nd time my left eye got blurry and had a clump of black at the top. Almost like a chunk of fuzz or mascara. Im now terrified to go back- but i know i could benefit from it as i felt better for the first time in over a year, only for a week tho. Just wondering if theres any risks, and how long do you leave it on for aftet you use it?
Would this be good for someone who has EXTREME tightness in their neck and upper traps? I don't have "pain" but its quite literally unbearably tight. It feels like everyone of my neck/trap muscles are as tight as they possible can be at all times, even when Im trying to sleep.

Like you’ve hit a barrier.
how does the circulation in your neck feel with this on?
Just make sure you don't put the straps too tight and don't pump it up too much and it's great. Start gentle and make sure it's actually under your chin and not squeezing your cheeks up. The first few times I used it I pumped it up too much and it felt like my eyes were going up pop out.
Will this help relieve upper back issues for people who have pain from bad posture or looking down at their phone for long period of time?
Hi Doctor, I wanted to know how many minutes I can use it at maximum pressure?
Is it okay to wear it for long trips in car or is it better not to get your neck used to a support?
thank you very much
I enjoy your video and thank you for this… I have a question how long should you where it and how many times a day… That was two questions sorry. Can you please help me… If somebody else can answer please do. I ordered one it should be here in a couple days
Would there be any point in developing a similar device for the knee or ankle?
Hey Dan! That is a great idea! Decompression of any joint that is hurting would likely be helpful! So yes, that would be a great idea!
Will it be helpful in cervical myelopathy?
Can you use this to help with posture.
Good luck!
hey i have the same issue how are you making out with the finger numbness
Is it ok to lay down with it?
I have the same pump found that I sleep better before using it a few minutes before bed.
i purchased mine after watching your video. I've had pinched nerve, neck pain, shoulder pain and this product is absolutely brilliant. My question is how long do i keep it on? I usually keep it on for 20mins and after that i feel discomfort. Do i need hot or cold pack after using the device. Thanks
how did it work for you i just bought one
Same here, I need to know how long it should be worn and also if it’s safe to use while in the gym
Could you please tell me which model you’re using - where I can purchase this from? Thank you so much
Hi Nina, of course!🧡 We purchased this on Amazon. Here is the link: Inflatable Cervical Neck Traction(Amazon) - amzn.to/40PXP5L
I'm Fused c5-c7 can I use this device
I dont know if im putting it on wrong but it feels small and the Velcro straps choked me.
Hi Ijungee,
There could be several reasons why it’s not working for you, and size might be one of them. It’s hard to say without seeing you use it. However, we do have a neck pain help playlist that might be more beneficial for you. You can check it out here:
“Neck Pain Help”
ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mZRNE4rwpxvE_tM1na_9kAm.html
Start with one or two exercises, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity.
Hi, I have a question: How long would someone wear the collar? Thank you for your reply.
Hi. My dad has a neck bone they say is slipped forward? He has numbness on his hands. Will this help? Thanks for this information.
Received my unit today I could not wait to try it out. So far it has really helped to eliminate the neck, shoulder and arm pain as well as the "numbness" in my arm and fingers. Time will tell but it looks good so far.
how did he make out

Does it put pressure on carotid artery?
Hi Mr Jermness,
It's a good question to ask!
Will this device help restore the neck curve or simply offer pain relief?
Did you ever find out the answer to your question? I would like to know the answer as well.
What about a slight neck hump .
Hi. Whats the brand of the inflatable? Thanks
I ordered mine off Amazon, just type in cervical neck traction device
It works.
Can this cause a burst vessel in the brain
Does this put pressure on the rest of your spine since its also pressing downwards?
no....
I just bought one of these. How long should I ideally have it on for?
6 hours
@@brase2018 😂😂😂😂😂 Roger that
How many times should i use ?
Hey Lola, in general, it is safe to use several times throughout the day. However if you have any neck injuries it's important to seek advice from your healthcare provider.
Mine was poor quality as developed a leak. But worth it when it was inflatable.
Hey Bill, Thanks for sharing your experience. It does offer some relief that feels like a breath of fresh air! 😃
I so wish you can look at my MRI report. After two years of neck and rhomboid pain and two rhizotomies I'm tired 😩
Is this device using whole life or for a while then cure the syndrome
Hey S M Abdul Haque! So unfortunately there is no way to completely treat a condition like cervical spinal stenosis. To answer your question, this device can be extremely helpful in improving your condition and possibly provide you with a significant amount of relief. It is worth giving inflatable cervical traction a try as it could potentially benefit you but it is not going to fully treat the problem. We would like to provide you with more resources that you can find worthwhile and possibly helpful.
Here are two playlists for you:

That's what I used to Unlock My Atlas. Hard core chin tucks, too. If, you unlock something. Seizures can be triggered. Unlocking the Atlas is very hard to do. Seizures can occur from any upper cervical unlock/unhang. You have to crank it through the nose bleeds to clear all the Nerves and Temple Artery. Un smash your eardrum. Unlocking your Atlas comes with Seizures, Un growth of Spinal Distortion and is not hardware friendly. There's a lot more. if, you have Seizures? This could be your answer.
I have one of these but after using it a short time, it wouldn't blow up anymore.
@ Julie Ellis. I just checked on Amazon and there are about five different kinds of the same device. Made by different manufacturers. The one I chose has a return option.
@@libbyworkman3459 , I guess I got the wrong one. 😒
@@julieellis6793 I just put mine in the shopping cart after watching the video. So I’m hoping for the best.
@@libbyworkman3459 hope it does well. Mine was good for awhile and did help my neck
Just wondering if theres any risks, and how long do you leave it on for aftet you use it?
thanks
Hey JT! You're very welcome!
Would this be good for someone who has EXTREME tightness in their neck and upper traps? I don't have "pain" but its quite literally unbearably tight. It feels like everyone of my neck/trap muscles are as tight as they possible can be at all times, even when Im trying to sleep.
Hey there, this could be useful for your condition. It is also very possible that you have elevated 1st and 2nd ribs. It may be advisable to see someone experienced in treating these conditions. It has very bad reviews on Amazon. There are others with better reviews so its hard to decide
Hi Spe-chulpee-pul6976, You're right, this one that we tried out. We use it in our office and it works great for us but it may not be for everyone. The good thing is that Amazon is really good about returns. It would be good to choose one with higher reviews and see how it works out for you and then return it if it doesn't work for you. If you happen to get one let us know how it works out for you! 🙌
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy I loved the one that I had but when I tried to clean the sweat and makeup its feel apart. So I will reorder and hand wash this time. I cannot return as I retired in Ecuador. I have cervical dystonia and its painful

I am not sure about all this positive feedback. I have significant cervical spine issues and I bought this device. In my view, it is virtually useless. It did nothing for me at all. I don’t think that it is safe or effective.
