Blue TRD Jon.. out here in Scottsdale Jon. Went to right toyota in north Scottsdale to check what they had. Your video is like infamous as people are running mad to get a voodoo blue anything. I guess the north Scottsdale dealer never had the voodoo tundra but had a white one that lasted less than 25 hours in stock. He said the blue one was down south somewhere but who knows. Voodoo blue is going to be epic. Just saw a FJ in the voodoo pulling out the Westin kierland here in scottsdale and I’m so excited to see the runner and tundra in it!
I miss AZ so much. Was there for 2 years in Phoenix. The voodoo will be awesome. If you see one let me know!
The sales guy said they have 2 or so more years doing the trd in current styling then they are looking for a revamp. He said still body on frame but all new styling. Sales guy so take it for what it’s worth.
Yea rumor has them out till 2020-2021 or so which is crazy. Hopefully yes still body on frame and they don’t kill it like they did the x-terra
I will share something i just tried yesterday that i learned from the 4runner forums.
Meguiars endurance aerosol tire shine.
Spray the whole tire and rim, wipe down only the rims. Best method i have found so far to keep the rims shinny, and easier to clean for the next wash. Plus you don’t have to try and fight off the over spray from the trd matte rims, because if you have a 4runner you know what i mean.
Yea these matte rims are a pain! Thank you for sharing! I will look into this. I’ve been needing a new method to get my rims.

Yea that would be good. Just don't be right on the paint. I think mine is 18oo. I use the 45 degree nozzle too

Looks like pre diluting your soap/water mixture works better then just filling it up with soap and then using the adjustment knob on top to get the right foaming action...
Correct you don’t wanna just fill it all up with soap

I just take the foam cannon and spray it under as well. I first do a little degreaser and then spray with water. Then foam cannon. Not as good as actually getting under it and scrubbing but it works well

Yes I can. I wasn’t to confident when I did it the first time but I can. In the mean time, look up chemical guys UA-cam. They have a lot of videos on that

great vid as always john. on your second foam coat, did you have to refill more soap in the cannon or is it the same as what you put in for coat 1?
Thank you! I was able to spare it. But sometimes I use one whole bottle and let it really come down with the soap. And then fill a second one up.
Which nozzle tip do you use on your SunJoe? I see many people using the 25 degree green tip but I'm worried it's too much.
Is it safe to use a power washer on paint?
Oh yes. Just don’t set it to the highest setting and be an inch away from the paint. Safe distance and you are more than ok to do so

No two bucket method? I’d be concerned that washing large panels like you did without returning to a rinse bucket would introduce a lot of contaminants from the lower panels to the other panels.
Usually I do the two bucket when I don’t foam gun.
Blue TRD Jon - if you haven’t tried the new Griots Foaming Surface Wash and Foaming Poly Gloss, you must. It’s the best soap I’ve used in a foam cannon, better even than CG Honey Dew and Adam’s Car Shampoo. Check out Pan the Organizer’s demo video.
