After spending more than 4,000 Resin on the new Genshin Impact 3.6 Artifact domain and obtaining some decent artifact pieces, I cannot in good faith recommend farming this domain with your resin, UNLESS you are playing one of the few characters who can benefit from these new artifacts who even then will have some problems that I will talk about in a moment.
But how did I get to this conclusion? Well, in this video I am going to showcase all the characters who can utilize these new artifact sets while at the same time explain some sneaky things about these new sets that you might not have expected to know about.

I got crit dmg, crit rate, er, and em nymph’s dream flower pretty quick. I’m definitely finding iffy pieces of both sets tho and def is cursing me atm. Tbh def is like the most useless substat, being that there’s only 6 current characters who use def and 5 of them r geo, the other being xinyan who’s pyro 😅. Guess u can include Eula who’s got def involved in her kit also, but she only increases it doesn’t do dmg based off of it. Feel like the artifact sets since beginning of sumeru aren’t as good, or worth going for. Like desert pavilion, u can tell was made for wanderer and flowers of lost paradise was wanted for nilou. Ntm deepwood for nahida and gilded, well it’s been for a lot lately. But after gilded and deepwood was released, the artifacts were very niche.
What about if I just got childe, is it recommended farming this set for him?

Unless you do perfect rotations with his signature, the new set only increases his dmg by 1-5% at best

I've calculated it and new set buffs him by around 9%, even the video shows a 20% buff on the burst 🤷
Another thing you forgot to mention about Childe with nymph set is that it also buffs his riptide damage, which makes up the majority of his aoe damage outside of burst. It's considered as elemental skill damage in melee mode, so it doesn't get buffed by HoD set. The riptide from burst also counts as burst damage, also not buffed by HoD.

@@softdepression2193 This set was never bad. But it is not a big enough increasing in the end. It's better than HoD if your Nymph set has better stats. With slightly worse stats they are pretty close. And if we look at HoD and 2+2 combis: A good 2+2 can beat an mediocre 4 HoD set. The question is: Do you want to grind a very niche set for one character with an terrible partner set while 4 HoD is with Blizzard Strayer (which is really good if you have a Freeze carry otherwise it's bad too) or good 2+2 that can perform similar especially with better Substats.
I actually farmed this domain for nilou and managed to get a flower with crit rate and dmg and hp% , and i have never been happier to dodge those crit stats and manage to get 25% hp bonus
Yeah I have a DPS Nilou 4pc Vourukasha’s Glow set (HP%, Hydro DMG, Crit DMG) leaving her at 55k HP using Jade Cutter. I have yet to use her but it seems on par with my old set unless the 4pc passive provides more (fingers crossed)
@@Troyfunster I haven’t gotten good enough pieces but so far HoD I think has done really well for her with pjc. Got like 80% crit rate and 200% crit dmg at c0 just too bad er is kinda low
I've been farming it too in the last few days and have gotten nothing. Or rather, I got some really nice pieces, but of course, they all ran into DEF/DEF%. I'm so angry, because I'm also not getting anything good from the ToM domain! 🙄

I could see varied opinions on the “this will be good later trust” thing that hoyo keeps doing, the only problem I see is we never know how good it’s going to be later, like miko/kuki good later or like not that good but kinda good later
given on how Mihoyo has been half-assed the characters updates lately i wouldn't hold on in that "this will be good later" premise.

Honestly I think miko/kuki were just lucky winners, the only element scaling (anemo just a support reaction) we were missing was em and they just happened to be em scaling chars
Can they just give us a new elemental skill artifact set already. Not some super niche set that only two characters can use.
I recently realized this but in some artifact domains there is a 4 star set called gambler's set. The 2 piece gives 20% Elemental Skill dmg bonus and the 4 piece is basically sacrificial weapons passive but better (It removes the cooldown of the equipping character's skill every 15 sec after using the skill). The bad part is that it's a 4 star set so farming it will be hard.
The more they add, the more niche they are im afraid.
@@ayushsheeju3657 You forgot that you need to kill things to get the cooldown reset, which means unlike the sacrificial weapon's passive, it struggles to activate against tanky foes and is completely useless against bosses, which means gambler's passive is almost always worse. Coupled with the fact that 4 star artifacts has worse stats than 5 stars, this set is not worth to farm at all unless you just want to mess around with it.
theres some set bonus effect that is really good on 4 stars, like elm skill bonus or crit rate bonus lol. imagine a crit rate bonus on 2 set effect, that will make a crit roll ur waiting for would be less desired, and players will spend less time to farm artifact which is bad for mihoyo's profit
@@zollen_boyyy6419 The sheer stats advantage 5 stars have usually outweighs the great set pieces some 4 stars have. There are 2 support 4 star sets that can genuinely be competitive or even best in slots which are 4 piece instructors and exile. Both of them are used on supports that you can "neglect", such as Bennett and Gorou.
I think the domain is prepared for Fontaine. Because, it's hydro damage and HP artifacts. And hydro is having a resonance with HP boost. Maybe there will be an exclusive hydro mono team

This is my thoughts on it, too. We have Fontaine coming - they COULD be trying to give us time to prep a set or two if we want it.
We've been complaining for YEARS now that we're always starting on the backfoot with these domain releases - Gilded was a NIGHTMARE and I spent MONTHS in there farming it (I STILL DO tbh - SO MANY dendro babies). We're probably ALL still farming for Emblem sets...
So maybe they're trying to alleviate that? But us *not knowing* how good/bad something is is definitely starting to get tiresome and worrisome.
Resin is a precious resource that we can't afford to waste as a player... And if I farm up a set or two or three from a domain and then DON'T get to appropriately use it?
The rage I will feel about that will not be matched easily. :|
You really guess right lol, I think Fontaine's team is mainly focus on mono element teams. Since the leaks about Lyney having mono pyro team is officially confirmed lol

Hydro in general has mostly Hp focus characters with Childe and Mona being the exception (since they don't have any Hp buff like Ayato or Xingqiu) so I do think this might be the best domain for Fontaine characters since they are the Hydro region.

@@thecreativeducky5781 Oh yeah no arguments there lol. I think those are the only two hydro characters without any benefit from HP in their kits. I assume most, if not all, future hydro characters will have HP in their kits in some form, so those two might be the odd ones out from here on out!
They don’t release artifact domains for future regions though. Even if they did, why is it another hydro AA set?
@@acardoza1234 yeah, hydro resonance is useless for Childe and Mona. Xingqiu has a very small heal scaling off HP, Ayato has additional damage based on his HP, Kokomi, Yelan, Nilou, and the rest of the hydro characters scale off HP.
The gilded domain is still the best domain to farm in Sumeru.
I hate that domain, rarely gives me any good pieces.

Nymph's Dream set feels like it was made specifically for Childe... The triggering stacks work exactly the same as his 5-star signature weapon: Polar Star.
Its so sad that not even with a set TAILOR MADE FOR HER can save dehya. Quite genuinely all she needs is better energy generation and good hp scaling and she'll be great
Nah, I can actually think of multiple other things that she needs that don't even revolve around her damage ...
They should have made her pyro kokomi
@@Chi-Chi-Fyyeah especially with all her hp scaling. she might have potential to be a great support if she can heal the team or for damage just make her a Pyro Yelan that's on par with Xiangling but instead of attack she scales fully off HP instead.
c1 the set hits for 40-50K on each hit in Kazuha+Bennett teams, ER isnt an issue really

I get that childe is a harbinger and therefore gets a bit more love, but I still think nymph's glow is made with Fontaine in mind.
Fontaine will have its own artifact domain, just like Sumeru has GD/DM and Inazuma has Shime/Emblem. ND/VG is similar to the VM/EO domain (Xiao/Ayato artifacts) that we got last year that provides a new artifact set for a new character alongside a pre-existing one
They don’t make artifact domains for new regions. Look at their track record. You know that one domain that no one touches in the chasm? It’s just that. A throwaway domain for the sake of having on. They have a quota for how many new content they should release within a year and it’s just there to meet that quota. So long as they give us one good domain, they can half ass the other ones.
@@TacticalDimples well, as someone that has ayato and xiao, I still do that domain time to time, and for this domain I farm for Tartaglia. Having good artefact set for character not crime lol, and for people who main them it's not a problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ therefore now we can see that mihoyo didn't forgot about old characters
@@skyyangv even if you have Ayato or Xiao the Chasm artifacts sucks lol.... Ayato is incosistent dmg with that set (and also depends on the ping) and for Xiao the new Anemo set from the Desert is actually better

It's so crazy to me that 2.5 years into the game's lifespan and there's only two on-field hydro DPS! I really hope they remedy that with Fontaine characters, because while I like using Childe I wouldn't mind having some new folk to take advantage of Nymph's Dream!
3. Yelan can be built as on field DPS. C6 ofc is cracked, c1 though becomes viable with her ER issue solved.

And emblem is litteraly the best domain to farm in the entire game since it's the one that most characters use and the other set have 2 piece of 18% atk which is soo usefull, and the 4 pieces good for yoimiya and hu tao and people don't know but it's even extremely good for ganyu melt.

well thanks to the release of nymph you can now get a max 233.6% hydro DMG bonus on your at least 80/90 childe if you put 2pc heart + 2pc nymph or 4pc nymph with hydro DMG bonus all across the board & have a 4pc petra geo character (preferably mr zhongli)
I will be using Nymph's Dream on Candace and nobody will stop me
I had Childe with no artifacts farmed for a while, so this domain came just in time
Ended up farming this domain. I got upgrades for Childe. His old set will be for Ayato in the future when eventually I'll get him. Best decision ever. 🎉
9:15 you can clearly see how xingqiu is disappointed on the new domain.
If anyone read the dialogue of the latest storyline/quest it's hinted that a god from fontaine died in the desert region so... this domain might have something to do with Fontaine chars
Even if the majority of the damage comes from blooms, part of me still wants 4-piece Vourushka's Glow on Nilou cause I love using the Prayer stance, the water slashes are so pretty

Thank-you for this. I have to re-farm artifacts for my Childe (ugh) and was putting it off, not knowing if the new domain would be a better choice. I don't care that it'll be resin heavy and take a while. Nymph's Dream ahoy-hoy!
I feel like Candace can use either of these 2 artifact sets, especially the Vourukasha Glow set, because she scales on HP and the set bonus works on her kit. Same goes with Nymph's Dream, but you have to have HP sands. I'm going to farm Glow set for Candace.
More like ER Sands unless you have ER weapon or high ER from substats. She infuses hydro only with her burst If you want her as on field DPS.
How vourukasha 4 piece works on her???. It could work only in nilou's bloom teams, and burgeon teams playing an onfield char which makes no sense since u use full EM on that characters generally.
The only character that makes sense with set are of course dehya, and xiao. I mean it not good for xiao of course but its the only that can use the passive of the set with dehya.
The Hydro set is unqestionably for Focalors already as well as the expected many hydro characters we will get in Fontaine so farming it is absolutely no mistake. Even if Fontaine gets an even better artifact domain, this set will most likely be a good substitute until you have the new set with good substats. If you dont farm this set now, even when Fontaine drops you will need months to get a good build together for Focalors which I definitely wont wait for. Theres no artifact domains you need to farm now anyway as you probably have farmed Gilded Dreams domain for the last 6-8 months as well and then have good pieces for multiple builds.
i only use two piece sets so this is good for my kuki, yelan, layla, barbra and the rest of my hydro/hp characters
I'm farming this set a few times a day. I got a really good 2-set piece for my newly pulled Nilou (she's still only at 65k HP though). I'm slowing just building a reserve so I can build whatever new Fontaine characters come out. Overall, it's not a great domain so far (definitely doesn't touch some of the previous domains).
My problem with the new artifacts is it will be hard for me to replace childes gear. I have childe since day 1 of 1.1. I have him with 61%/257% crit ratio with aqua. Might stick with what i have for now

Yeah, adding Hydro damage artifact right before Fontaine. Feels like the set will be good. Also, it's built more for caster type Hydros. As NA/CA Hydro types have tons of options already.
As for V.Glow, if the Hydro Archon Leaks are true (probably not, this early) then it'll be good for everyone on her team, lol.
Imma get a 2pc 2pc for both HP% sets for my Baizhu, then the domain will lay untouched

I decided to go with hanayumi a long time ago, so I rarely used ult on Childe (unless after pyronado expires, but enemies die before that anyway)
Farmed it for Childe. Got craps that I put into the strongbox. So now I have an improved HOD set...
as a dps kokomi main im probably going to be farming these for her, seeing as my current build is just 2pc tenacity and 2pc clam. its mostly just whatever of a few sets had the best stats for her, basically whatever dodged the crit rolls for something other than def. an hp and hydro dmg domain is like the best option for me to make her more cracked
i got a few good pieces for hydro set, i am not gonna stop farming this hydro set until i get a full set for the hydro archon

It's interesting no mention of Mona with the hydro set (especially if C2) I think dps Mona can benefit from that set quite a lot and maybe even Kokomi.
On regards to vorukasha other characters I think theoretically helps them do more dmg while still giving them more bulk (and power if hit) are Diona (with Shenhe could be great) Beidou with the inazuman sword or the sea lord if you have enough energy, Layla with festering desires, Kokomi also with her signature weapon or atlas.

i play Dehya and i know there will be a lot of water people coming so im gonna mass farm at my leisure. Not quite use all my fragile resins but i found a new fodder domain to farm for the next week or two until i reach cap fodder arts.
I farmed HoD for months for Childe and got nothing but trash... But ofc I love him so much I had to start farming the new one and actually got a good atk sands ?! I've been lacking a good on piece sands for Childe since forever! This domain was a godsend for me as a Childe main

Earlier if you needed HP bonus, you had to get physical dmg with it.
Now you can at least get Hydro dmg along with Hp percentage.
Still need to test it out, since I haven't gotten any decent artifacts from it yet. But I think Candace might actually benefit from them both.
Her main stat is hp for both skill and burst. And she's a hydro that can work as an onfield dps.
This set is really strong on my DPS Mona. I'm happy with its performance, much more comfortable to 36-star Spiral Abyss with her than with HoD
I'm farming it just for the 2pieces of each set tbh since both are good. I actually got an amazing off-set EM sand for my Nahida (35.7% cd and 3.1% cr wit Atk and Def)
Farming this for my C1 Kokomi. I'm trying to enter her semi-DPS-but-still-a-healer era. Hehe.
I have been farming heart of depth for three months
Only got good flower and plume nothing else so I will try my luck some where else
as someone with nilou, an unbuilt childe, bad HoD pieces, no interest in Dehya, and still strongboxing for thundering fury
I see this domain as an absolute win
I farmed it for Nilou since I just got her.
I managed to get her at 60k HP with 2 pcs Tenacity of the Millelith and 2 pcs Vourukasha's Glow + a R5 Favonius Sword.
I just hope they increase the artifacts inventory limit soon, because with so many sets, it's hard to manage and keep potentially good artifacts of each sets.
a 2 hp set for my boomer, stressed student, merc and a dancer. total worth it.
since more hp more tank!!! also screw the "muh energy this"... like dude if there is gonna be an enemy that will be like have the debuff of longer cooldown like the abyss hydro twinblade dude or lower the burst when being hit like the enkanomiya vishaps. this helps alot.
i mean, i love deyah and im not very lucky with my 50/50s, i love childe and i love ayato, i got good pieces on ayato, but i dont have good pieces for childe. so this dungeon sounds pretty damn decent for me plus i can roll down the unwanted artifacts to hearth of debt.
I just dumped 15 condensed resin on this domain and left the moment I got good hp pieces for Nilou. Her hp is now at 60k with hydro resonance (without key)
I've got c6 dehya, and I'm still not sure that the new set is worth even with c6. The stacks of the buff only lasting 5 seconds each is kinda rough.
After C4 it's pretty much worth to grind for the set so I'd say it's worth it. What emblem had over the new set is the ER for the 2pc bonus since dehya is very energy hungry but her C4 fixes her energy issues to a degree that you don't really need the 2pc emblem bonus to keep your burst charged all the time. I'd say if you have dehya at c4 and above this artifact set can increase her damage by around %17-20
It's perfect for Yelan 2 piece combo of each. Also for farming 2 piece HP set for shielders

@@termina2737 Oh for quick load out main DPS yeah, but the problem is that that's not sustainable, honestly even with c6r5 Yelan I'd still go for emblem.

Only went to get 2 Vourukasha's Glows with decent HP% rolls for Nilou and never looked back. Now I'm back at Emblem mines.
Next time I will be getting nymph’s dream set would be for Focalers
nah i don't think so. i have a feeling she'll probably be hp scaled unit instead. and with how Archons are played i have a feeling she'll be Support/Sub DPS/Buffer instead. the only archon i could see as a main dps would have to be Murata. Now I could be wrong though and maybe she could be the first archon to be a true main dps(Raiden doesn't count since she feels more like mix between a support and a Main DPS.)

Nymph's Dream is probably made for some unreleased Fontaine character, maybe Foscalor
I gave that to my DPS Barbara, only with her and Kuki I've defeated Sognora and Scaramouch so far, I haven't tried her to other tource domains

I'm using Dehya wit hGladiators set with goblet on pyro, a fair amount of crit ratio and managed to have her attack bonus at 2.94k, she deals 11k with each hit on her burst. I'm fine with that.
I will get the 2xset for Nilou and Layla for HP :)
Good domain for Nilou, Dehya, Childe enjoyers. Very niche but I think it will definitely be better once Fontaine comes out
The thing with nymphs is that it's not going to be for future characters, hydro characters have been HP based since Inazuma, I doubt they'd make an attack one after the focus on HP for so long
i bet both these artifacts will become better with Fontaine, what with hydro being the element of hp, i wouldn't be surprise if the hydro archon scales on hp herself.
I just want 2 piece HP set for Nilou to get extra HP.
I failed to get the paddle for her and I got upside down aranara instead in the weapon banner, so sad. On the flip side I'm few pull away from C1 Nahida so one step closer to C2 Nahida ,hopefully her scond rerun won't be too long
I think the 2 set hydro dmg increase is value enough sometimes
Another point to make if you have been playing for 1-2 years your XQ artifact potential in Emlblem or 2x 2pc is probably so high it would take an ungodly amount of time before seeing a damage increase.
The 4p nymph works on candace infused dps characters too such as ;D

That is Kaveh if you're using him as an on field driver in nilou's team since his dmg will be mainly from his burst
I got C2 Mona and I'm gonna try building her as a DPS with Nymph's Dream. I've been using her as a support ever since I started playing and she's awesome but I wanted to play DPS Mona from the start.
I heard of players using the hp set and face tanking the damage either with or without dehya.
I only spent 60 resin on this domain to get two pieces for my Nilou. Never touching this domain again unless we get someone from 4.x patches that can fully utilize these sets coz I already got a really good emblem set for Dehya and my Childe and Ayato are already using amazing sets.
i just realized that the treasure quest item looks like nymph's constancy
I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned bit with Hydros new resinance we will most likely get a lot of HP scaling hydro units... So this artifact set can straight up become obsolete or not functional for a lot of new units.. But yes it's perfect for childe lol
Is the New HP set better for Yelan? Like it boosts the Skill and Burst Damage right, I think it would work great on her

Healing would go down but 30% Hydro DMG UP would provide more dmg boost than 30% healing bonus I’d assume… unless I misunderstand Kokomi’s passive talant about a % of Healing Bonus increases DMG
I know HoD 4pc DMG is better (pretty sure after researching for a little) but I’d rather feel *dopamine* come from a blue number than an achromatic number :>
You want healing bonus to keep up the healing and buff up the dmg. It's why clam set is so good on her. She gains more healing bonus and a water bomb on top of that.
To be honest the moment I got C1 Dehya on her banner in 3.5 I slapped on her trial build of 2pcs Tenacity+2pcs Crimson Witch with ATK sands and up until now this build suits me the most despite testing other options 😆
I do think mooooost hp scaling characters can benefit from the double hp. I'm also not totally sure, but there may be some merit to getting xinqui on 2pc 2pc for the extra hydro damage, since his swords damage reduction scales on hydro damage. He still needs a lot of ER, but getting all that hydro damage bonus mayyyy matter for the other part of his abilites.
No, 4 Emblem is still better than 2+2. 20 ER + Sac Sword give around 45 BurstDMG% which is the main source of his damage. Yeah his skill is a bit weaker but this an absolute fair trade. Add the fact that the 20 ER on two piece can help him a lot.
@@joe_simon For the record I don't think 2p2p is gonna be better most of the time. Only if you need the defenses. Xinqui with a hydro goblet and his native 20% is 66.6, which .2 of is 13.32, slap on another 30m from 2p2p and you get about 6%, together they make 19% of the max 24% he can have. 30% hydro also contributes to his damage, but obviously not as much as emblem (not sure how much he loses). Is 6% damage reduction and 30% hydro better than 45% damage bonus (extra ER doesn't really do anything, he doesn't need that much in most teams anyways)? usually no, but if the damage mitigation matters, 6% is actually pretty significant.
Even with premium I have ads from the UA-camr, there should be a rule where you mark the duration of the ads to skip them when you have premium

so, with how dehya stops taking damage over time in her burst, does that mean the 4pc set effect of the new artifacts is lost if her burst is extended due to her c6?

I HAVE A QUESTION: Does Vourukasha's Glow 4P effect activates on Candace with her shield up? Or if it her HP doesn't change, it doesn't count as taking damage?
