Nymph's Dream's stack is counted separately for each action. NA counts as one (spamming still counts as one) CA counts as one, Skill counts as one & Burst counts as one.
I never knew that.... that actually makes the set a lot worse in my opinion. I was of the thought you could do a quick normal and charged, get two stacks, and then use either skill or burst to max out your stacks...... At least 2 stacks is as good as double hydro 2p, so you always are doing decent damage, and sometimes more when you get all 3 stacks going
@itzfaction7400 cheers mate, I just tested this out on Childe and Normals and Charged attacks give desperate stacks I can get to 3 stacks with his charged, normal and skill damage, without using his burst

I don’t have a catalyst only acc but I practically main catalyst at this point. My top 3 damages come from, in order from most to least: Mona, Heizou, Barbara 348k. 199k. 139k
Mona Actually got me through this abyss. I ran her with xiangling, kazuha, and bennet. I ran widsith and crit based artifacts and she was basically a driver for xiangling. It was actually really effetive and if u dont have childe you should try it.

I've been running a similar Mona (Nymph's Dream) in a catalyst team with Yanfei, Yae Miko, and Nahida. It's a fun team for people who don't mind frequent character swapping.

I would wait all that if i kept investing on the limited banner. I just used primogens to buy blue wishes. Because you stack faster. Each month is 5 blue wishes from battlepass, plus 5 from masterless stardust. 30 days of dailies meant 1800 gems = 10 pull. + wait to gain around this from events of the month (+10... means)... 10+10+10 ... easy. 1 Month = 30 Pulls. 30x3 = 90, x6 = 180. 6 months. one guarantee. Limited: 10 from dailies, 10 from events = end. 5 wishes less. 20x3 = 60, x6 = 120. 6 months. no guarantee. [The problem on this mathematics are just the "Stardust" coins, people ignore. If you skip banners, just stack wishes/primogens, you'll end up without those 5 wishes in a month that you need that amount of stardust to cashback. So those 5 blue wishes of BP, really sums on the long run to return you with Stardust = 5 respawn wishes, to sum up the end result. And if you count again considering this on purple wishes. just little. 25x3 = 75, x 6 = 150. 6 months. no guarantee. again. The competition is the same, with 1 detail. the 50/50 is the weapons versus the 7 characters. the character limited banner is just THAT character, and powercreeps your builds for lack of weapons and refinements. I'm advocado of C0 chars, always, have the doll, you move about, is happy (weapons on visual terms are only aesthetics - sorry i had to see Amber with Blackcliff Warbow, and is goddamn sexy C2 Amber now! :D ). But is true, you lose some tiny breadcrumbs amount of freemogens for not go further on Spiral Abyss, that dont return the investment, but still is what it is. Forgot to say: Lisa/Amber/Kaeya on standart. eheheh. exclusive. And random past event T4s... Blue Banner isnt BAD how they say... nor weapon, is just where to focus, what you want most. ...and more of "what you NEED most". Never pull for T4 released characters on characters banners of T5's you dont want to, it'll reset your pity, and darnish your life.

This video was god sent tbh, ive recently got mona c6 (yeah, lost the 50/50 way too many times) and her being the reason i started playing the game in the 1st place wanted me to make a dps build, but i really was going crazy over what artifact set to use lol

Noblesse and thrilling tales probably be the best for her, unless you are doing something like a prototype Amber healing build, or Fav for team particles. Personally, I usually prefer to use her as a driver and build her for personal damage too in a tazer or hyperbloom team, but that's just me
I actually use main dps Mona all the time on my Nilou team with Baizou and Nahida. With the flower set and 1k EM, plus all the team buffs, she just shreds enemies with 40k+ blooms. I used that this abyss first half, and even against the consecrated beasts with their crazy resistance, I was still able to get 36 stars. I tried other hydro characters, but mona just applies hydro so easily and in so many ways. Plus her burst then nilou's burst does a good bit of damage and hydro at the same time.
I've used Mona in no nilou teams, usually hyperbloom, and while her offfield hydro app isn't great, onfield, with her dashing and splashing around as well as using her normal and charged attacks, she does a great job. Mixed with Nilous water ring, she would be s great driver!
Finally a video about having fun while still winning in the fights like all videos I've watched they are all about which character gonna give you more damage and better action even if you have the character

A few corrections here, not that this is bad vid, it's quite well done!: You ALWAYS want Hydro Damage goblet. Attack percent goblet is wasted especially on Catalyst users, since EVERYTHING Mona does is based on Hydro dmg. You can always make up for attack because with DPS Mona you are absolutely using Bennett for the wombo combo that they have so it's really no problem. You also wanted to have either attack sands, or EM sands with cracked substats. Do not run ER for sands, it's a waste. HydroSam did a vid on this a long time ago. EM in reactions, ATK if you aren't and running Freeze, instead. Also for Nymphs: you need to perform varied actions: You can get one stack from NAs, one from CAs, one from Skill hits, and one from Burst hits. This is exactly what Polar Star does, the bow for Childe. You can't get the full bonus without doing this and activate the full four piece bonus. Just be wary of that. For weapons Skyward Atlas is a trap. Don't use it. If you literally have nothing else, it's fine, but you definitely want to use Widsith since ALL of the buffs work for Mona, ATK, DMG, and EM for reactions. For a combo, you can put pyro on a mob, use Kazuha to swirl Pyro, then move a tiny bit with Mona to get the C6 bonus(or not) and then do a CA to vape it. I've gotten like, with full buffs something like 150k to 175k with ONE charged attack with full buffs (no food or potions just character and item buffs with reactions). You want to use Lost Prayers on Mona if you have it since main dps Mona is staying on field for longer once buffs are applied. Kagura's can also work as a stat stick but yeah Atlas sucks on many catalyst characters because atk is so saturated from items and character buffs already. It's okay to use if it's all you have, but if you have access to other weapons with crit, use those. One key thing for dps characters: the set bonus comes econdary to great stats. Get great stats first, then get a full set. It's better to use something like 2pc 2pc hydro hydro or 2pc 2pc hydro and attack or EM until you get good ratios.
Mona was my first 5 star, and i have C1 Mona currently. I use Mona as a main DPS, but with a 2-piece Heart of Depth and 2-piece Nymph's Dream split. I also use Skyward Atlas, which is very nice. Is the bonus for the 4-piece Nymph's dream really worth the loss in extra Hydro damage?
if you fully stack nymph's dream, which is kinda easy, you will get 15% hydro bonus damage and 25% atk My first 5 star was also mona, my second 5 star was.....also mona. all my 5 star characters are C0 Except for mona, she is at C3 lmao

i have another recommendation, so i have mona on wanderers troupe and her damage is higher than the nymph's dream, her talents are lvl 3 normalm, level 3 elemental skill and level 4 burst, mona herself is co and at level 70, she has hit 9000 normal attack with her skill so i think her best in slot might be wanderers troupe with widsith. I dont know much abt building mona but so far it does work really well considering im world level 8 and she is severly underbuilt. it is a good f2p option too. i think she has 160 er, 50% crit rate and 145.5% crit dmge and 78.4% hydro dmg bonus
I really want Mona, she refuses to come home. If i have her instead of Furina, i wouldn't mind. I just want Mona. I don't believe in meta because its so stressful. I did get Kazuha but i always play venti because hes so good. I am so glad someone else love Mona

Uhh, why build the "main dps mona" and then put her in a team that doesnt buff her at all? She was doing 4k while fischl was doing 15k and blooming for 20k...
Mona was my first 5* and ive mained her ever since. Pfp, namecard, everything. Shes still C0 though but widsith and instructors set 3pc with 2 pc gilded hydro or w.e it's called. Reason I'm using instructor though is because the stats are just too nice. Hydro goblet, Er sands and crit damage circlet. Level 80 with 676 talents. I think i have 51 crit rate 250 damage, 167 ER and 240 EM. I do between 300-2k normals, 3k E and 7-10k burst that can nearly triple everywhere when it crits. I thibk my Widsith is r2 or 3, but i run Kuki, Nahida, and either Shenhe, Yoimiya, or Yae Miko for a fourth but it doesnt really matter who it is because my three slot mona kuki nahida slaps. I have 500+ EM on Kuki and 650 on Nahida pre buffs. Deepwood and thundering fury on each. Mona can do about 30K ults on her own but my hyperblooms do 30k as well. Im still only running 6 talents on all of them but i do 2-5k charge shots with mona so i usually do grass ring kuki, all schemes nahida and swap to mona to stellaris and spam some regular attacks until stellaris or grass ring wears off and swap to redploy while using Nahida on field for a bit to make use of that 600+ EM.

the first month of this game in 2020 she was my first five star and her plus fischl was my go to team back then, was so good. She was my first c6 after many lost 50/50s and she still holds a spot in my heart
Tartag main here; while nymph's dream is tartaglia's best in slot now, its only about a 7% increase compared to heart of depth, assuming you are using polar star both cases if i remember correctly. Despite the negligent dmg increase, nymph's dream makes up for it indirectly via giving you more wiggle room for more crit, em, and er rolls. Nymph's dream for tartaglia is comparable to what Vermillion hereafter is for xiao - basically makes you less reliant on atk% main/sub stats bc ur weapon and 4pc passive give you so much that you now have more options
I just got my Mona c5, I have her since first day launch of this game, she was my first 5 star. I didn't have reroll she comes really fast on my account. And since then, she was the 5 star that appears the most when I fail my fifties. Only have one qiqi, jean c4, diluc and keqing c2 and dehya c2 my account is blessed with many Monas. I realized that it was been a year I didn't played her, now I really want to play her main dps. I will definetly farm the new artifacts for her I don't know if the fontaines ones are better than the sumeru ones. First priority to Neuvillette then I will build Mona for sure and give her crowns. For the moment i play her in a dehya composition cause fuck the meta.
Im running 4 set wanderer's troupe, 60+ crit rate, 106 crit damage (it's bad ratio, I know 🙄), 200% energy recharge, and atk goblet. She's using skyward book and her crit charge is about 13 to 14k. 6k if not crit.
You didn’t use either hod or the nymph set correctly. You didn’t use elemental skill to proc hod passive at all and you didn’t do elemental skill or burst for the nymph set either
You can actually activate the Hod passive by holding her skill but then dashing to cancel it (wouldn't do it for the nymph set as that requires you to hit an enemy with it) Using Hod along with the Event Weapon that boosts ER by 48% after using a skill, you can activate both by canceling your skill

But in games and even in real life people shorten things a lot, that’s pretty much what this is. Proc stands for procure, which means ‘to obtain something’. So it just stands for turning something on - in this instance it stands for turning on - or obtaining, the HoD 4-PC artifact set. PC stands for piece btw. HoD stands for Heart of Depth. Where if you use your elemental skill, it increases your charged attack damage by 30%. If you have 2-PC of it, it increase hydro damage by 15%. 2-PC increases charged attack damage by 30%. If you don’t understand artifacts I can also explain them to you? Like what buffs certain ones give, sub stats, main stats, etc.
I want her for her water running cause it looks cool, sadly one year and purposely using primogems on the standard banner. Ive only got C1 jean and c3 faurzan, I still dont have her, I don't even have qiqi, I mostly get weapons more then characters.
A little detail from the video, you compared heart of depth set without the passive with nymph's dream with the passive on. It might have been a mistake or something, but it certainly does not defits the purpose of the video.
Take it to new heights. EM Raiden with Nahida and main DPS Mona. The Hyperbloom triggers off Raiden's E and Mona is creating cores every attack while still hitting auto attacks. 10k Charged crits with 25-28k Hyperblooms. I take Jean as my healer too for swirling Mona's bubble and full healing my team. My Raiden is currently at 970 EM, Mona is at 1700 attack with only 48 / 160. Still have room for improvement, but still obliterate everything in my path besides floor 12 spiral abyss lol

Bro why didn't you use the burst on Masanori during emblem showcase. The burst dmg would've made up for the NA and CA dmg being low especially at 209% ER.

Note: the build in this guide is for consistant damage through all normal/skill/burst damage. Burst nuke mona still uses the emblem for best in slot.

Isn’t Noblesse still Mona’s best support set? Emblem just pushes her personal dmg in quick swap but offers nothing to party members.

I finally got Mona after two and a half years of playing, I’m 100% building her as a dps just because I’ve been waiting for her for so long
I hardly use Mona any more, but she still holds the record for my hardest hit.

Mona's on-field DPS best in slot weapon is Widsith it's not even close, Skyward Atlas can prematurely pop Mona’s burst on top of being weaker on her.

A few corrections here, not that this is bad vid, it's quite well done!: You ALWAYS want Hydro Damage goblet. Attack percent goblet is wasted especially on Catalyst users, since EVERYTHING Mona does is based on Hydro dmg. You can always make up for attack because with DPS Mona you are absolutely using Bennett for the wombo combo that they have so it's really no problem. You also wanted to have either attack sands, or EM sands with cracked substats. Do not run ER for sands, it's a waste. HydroSam did a vid on this a long time ago. EM in reactions, ATK if you aren't and running Freeze, instead.
Also for Nymphs: you need to perform varied actions: You can get one stack from NAs, one from CAs, one from Skill hits, and one from Burst hits. This is exactly what Polar Star does, the bow for Childe. You can't get the full bonus without doing this and activate the full four piece bonus. Just be wary of that.
For weapons Skyward Atlas is a trap. Don't use it. If you literally have nothing else, it's fine, but you definitely want to use Widsith since ALL of the buffs work for Mona, ATK, DMG, and EM for reactions. For a combo, you can put pyro on a mob, use Kazuha to swirl Pyro, then move a tiny bit with Mona to get the C6 bonus(or not) and then do a CA to vape it. I've gotten like, with full buffs something like 150k to 175k with ONE charged attack with full buffs (no food or potions just character and item buffs with reactions).
You want to use Lost Prayers on Mona if you have it since main dps Mona is staying on field for longer once buffs are applied. Kagura's can also work as a stat stick but yeah Atlas sucks on many catalyst characters because atk is so saturated from items and character buffs already. It's okay to use if it's all you have, but if you have access to other weapons with crit, use those.
One key thing for dps characters: the set bonus comes econdary to great stats. Get great stats first, then get a full set. It's better to use something like 2pc 2pc hydro hydro or 2pc 2pc hydro and attack or EM until you get good ratios.
What about "best" team for Mona DPS?
Mona was my first 5 star, and i have C1 Mona currently. I use Mona as a main DPS, but with a 2-piece Heart of Depth and 2-piece Nymph's Dream split. I also use Skyward Atlas, which is very nice. Is the bonus for the 4-piece Nymph's dream really worth the loss in extra Hydro damage?
if you fully stack nymph's dream, which is kinda easy, you will get 15% hydro bonus damage and 25% atk

I want to main Mona and only have her c0, but I plan to pull for Cloud Retainer on her next banner and use Mona as a plunge dps.
i have another recommendation, so i have mona on wanderers troupe and her damage is higher than the nymph's dream, her talents are lvl 3 normalm, level 3 elemental skill and level 4 burst, mona herself is co and at level 70, she has hit 9000 normal attack with her skill so i think her best in slot might be wanderers troupe with widsith. I dont know much abt building mona but so far it does work really well considering im world level 8 and she is severly underbuilt. it is a good f2p option too. i think she has 160 er, 50% crit rate and 145.5% crit dmge and 78.4% hydro dmg bonus

Me who dosent have Mona: hmm interesting.
Mona was my first 5* and ive mained her ever since. Pfp, namecard, everything. Shes still C0 though but widsith and instructors set 3pc with 2 pc gilded hydro or w.e it's called. Reason I'm using instructor though is because the stats are just too nice. Hydro goblet, Er sands and crit damage circlet. Level 80 with 676 talents. I think i have 51 crit rate 250 damage, 167 ER and 240 EM. I do between 300-2k normals, 3k E and 7-10k burst that can nearly triple everywhere when it crits. I thibk my Widsith is r2 or 3, but i run Kuki, Nahida, and either Shenhe, Yoimiya, or Yae Miko for a fourth but it doesnt really matter who it is because my three slot mona kuki nahida slaps. I have 500+ EM on Kuki and 650 on Nahida pre buffs. Deepwood and thundering fury on each. Mona can do about 30K ults on her own but my hyperblooms do 30k as well. Im still only running 6 talents on all of them but i do 2-5k charge shots with mona so i usually do grass ring kuki, all schemes nahida and swap to mona to stellaris and spam some regular attacks until stellaris or grass ring wears off and swap to redploy while using Nahida on field for a bit to make use of that 600+ EM.

Tartag main here; while nymph's dream is tartaglia's best in slot now, its only about a 7% increase compared to heart of depth, assuming you are using polar star both cases if i remember correctly. Despite the negligent dmg increase, nymph's dream makes up for it indirectly via giving you more wiggle room for more crit, em, and er rolls. Nymph's dream for tartaglia is comparable to what Vermillion hereafter is for xiao - basically makes you less reliant on atk% main/sub stats bc ur weapon and 4pc passive give you so much that you now have more options

I just got my Mona c5, I have her since first day launch of this game, she was my first 5 star. I didn't have reroll she comes really fast on my account. And since then, she was the 5 star that appears the most when I fail my fifties. Only have one qiqi, jean c4, diluc and keqing c2 and dehya c2 my account is blessed with many Monas. I realized that it was been a year I didn't played her, now I really want to play her main dps. I will definetly farm the new artifacts for her I don't know if the fontaines ones are better than the sumeru ones. First priority to Neuvillette then I will build Mona for sure and give her crowns. For the moment i play her in a dehya composition cause fuck the meta.

Im running 4 set wanderer's troupe, 60+ crit rate, 106 crit damage (it's bad ratio, I know 🙄), 200% energy recharge, and atk goblet. She's using skyward book and her crit charge is about 13 to 14k. 6k if not crit.
You didn’t use either hod or the nymph set correctly. You didn’t use elemental skill to proc hod passive at all and you didn’t do elemental skill or burst for the nymph set either

You can actually activate the Hod passive by holding her skill but then dashing to cancel it (wouldn't do it for the nymph set as that requires you to hit an enemy with it)
Using Hod along with the Event Weapon that boosts ER by 48% after using a skill, you can activate both by canceling your skill

Proc stands for procure, which means ‘to obtain something’. So it just stands for turning something on - in this instance it stands for turning on - or obtaining, the HoD 4-PC artifact set.
PC stands for piece btw.
HoD stands for Heart of Depth. Where if you use your elemental skill, it increases your charged attack damage by 30%.
If you have 2-PC of it, it increase hydro damage by 15%.
2-PC increases charged attack damage by 30%.
If you don’t understand artifacts I can also explain them to you? Like what buffs certain ones give, sub stats, main stats, etc.

A little detail from the video, you compared heart of depth set without the passive with nymph's dream with the passive on. It might have been a mistake or something, but it certainly does not defits the purpose of the video.

Take it to new heights. EM Raiden with Nahida and main DPS Mona. The Hyperbloom triggers off Raiden's E and Mona is creating cores every attack while still hitting auto attacks. 10k Charged crits with 25-28k Hyperblooms. I take Jean as my healer too for swirling Mona's bubble and full healing my team. My Raiden is currently at 970 EM, Mona is at 1700 attack with only 48 / 160. Still have room for improvement, but still obliterate everything in my path besides floor 12 spiral abyss lol

Bro why didn't you use the burst on Masanori during emblem showcase. The burst dmg would've made up for the NA and CA dmg being low especially at 209% ER.
