Such a good interview!!! Very enlightening as it applies to the creative process, the reliance on experience, the sense of community, the humanity that intertwines with every turn and everything one encounters in their life as they embrace it! Denny has a good feel for what works it would seem and a keen understanding of what components of documentary production makes sense and is representative of "how things really are"! Leland, has always been blessed with not only good musical sensibility but a love for the same! As important as all this is is his reliance and ability to "turn his ears on"! Some musicians really heavily on scores and have a little trouble "winging it". This certainly does not apply to Leland! Great stuff with GREAT PEOPLE! Well done all!
