I was surprised when I saw that price as well. You don’t have to bleed the brakes after replacement. Just make sure the brake fluid level is at the full mark after you depress the brake pedal.
Whats an "E" brake?. Its a purely mechanically operated handbrake. Its also not "Emery cloth". Its a scouring pad. Emery cloth is heavy duty sandpaper. I would use wire wool and brake cleaner to clean the pins. I would also use a brush to clean the inside of the calipers and cylinders not a rag. I would also clean the wheel inside and out before fitting it. The drivers side disc looks quite scored so I would have replaced the discs too as well as the pins and clip. A very thorough and carefully executed job though and very clear images too 👍

Hmmm the break in progress is weird to me. 125 miles slow gentle huh.
Correct BMW provides a small placard with that information in every set of brake pads.
This job looks way different in the north east where everything gets seized thanks to snow and salt.
Ooo yeah I am thankful to not have to worry about that. Sometimes I get auction cars from the east coast and everything is rusted.
