I just replaced my valve cover gasket on my 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE 2.4L. I will agree with others, that disconnecting the negative battery cable and then the wiring harness from the alternator is a shed load easier than trying to get that wiring harness connector disconnected on the back left side by the fire wall. I chose to use Permatex Great Stuff gasket maker on the 6 little areas that need it. I chose great stuff because you can drive your vehicle 90 minutes after the Great Stuff has been applied. Your video was exactly what I needed. Thank you for making it. The 2015 Accord with the 2.4L is the only 9th generation Accord with removable spark plug gasket seals on the under side of the valve cover. Does anyone have any experience with leaks from the tube seals after replacing only the outer gasket? I replaced the whole cover fearing leaks and now I'm wondering if I could have saved a lot of money by using the old cover😭😭😭😭😭😭

The 2015 model is the ONLY year Accord that has removable spark plug gasket seals in the generation Accord with the 2.4L Earth Dreams engine.

Why does everyone remove the caliper from the mounting bracket? All you need to do is remove the whole thing as 1. No need to remove the caliper from the bracket.

Where is the starter motor on the 2021 rav4 ?

I used a torque wrench at 5 foot lbs and it never clicked. Ended up shearing off three of the bolts. The screws are stuck in the engine block thread and I might have just totaled my car as a result. Wish I never used a torque wrench

Thank you so much for getting the camera in there and showing the tabs. Only thing, I tried twisting the tabs counter clockwise but it would not budge. Is there supposed to be a lot of force to get it to unlock?There's a little wiggle from the bulb itself, but I don't want to just pull on the bulb too much.

I pulled my factory filters and the arrows were facing toward the engine, the opposite of what you said. Now i’m confused. Mine is a 2021 740

My headlight failed in the same way, flickered, and was turning an off-white color. I went to the dealer expecting it to be a specialty light. They wanted to sell me a $450 bulb... looked a little harder and got one at the regular auto parts store for $140. It looks the same as my other light.

Wait a minute, why are you unscrewing anything ? You can just remove the air flow sensor plug and remove the cover. Absolutely unnecessary my friend

Hey bro when I was doing mine I unplugged the cam sensor and vtec to get the harness out the way. When I put everything back together, codes came up for those two sensors. Any idea on what it can be? Checked out the wiring, connectors and voltage, everything’s seems fine but can’t find my issue :(
