Flight Simulator 2024 Xbox Games Showcase Trailer in depth look and discussion

So after a year of waiting, we finally have a new trailer for MSFS 2024. Today I thought we'd take an in depth look at the trailer and discuss it.

We have reached a point where Microsoft flight simulator does not seem to have direct competition in terms of technical capacity and complexity in the simulator itself.
They are so far from the competition that it seems that they only compete against themselves.
Not only is it evolving at an extremely beastly speed. But on top of that, it doesn't stop improving all its weak points. Its biggest weakness in the visual section was the terrain at very low altitude. This time Microsoft flight simulator 2024 not only improves the terrain to an almost dreamlike level, but on top of that this terrain itself can be confused with MMO open-world exploration games. And don't forget, this is a flight simulator.
They are in another league.

I would like to point out that the aircraft flying in Dubai is not the Volocopter, which we do currently have. And the last aircraft is an Edgley EA-7 Optica. It is available from two different devs on the current marketplace and my guess is that it’s being developed by Got Friends who made the better of the two. It is important to note that lots of the base aircraft are being done by third party devs in collaboration with Microsoft and Asobo. For instance DC Designs is doing the A-10 and FlightFX is doing the Vision Jet.

I think the fact Asobo is letting third party devs tackle a lot of the default aircraft is one of the smartest decisions they made. That way they can focus more on the core aspects of the sim.
