I played this track a lot when I first discovered this channel. Just running up and down the pentatonic. I have come back now understanding the importance of playing over the changes and it sounds so much better. All thanks to your amazing content. It's all in the triads baby.
I never thought I’d get into Zappa for some reason. Although I love funk, progressive and rock music all in one. I need to explore his catalog again. Your tracks are so great. Jam on these for an hour easy.
He's one of a kind, I think he's one of the greatest guitarists ever and an amazing rock composer. Check out Sheik Yerbouti, or for something a bit more heady and cerebral, check out Apostrophe.
Great channel mate! Just hit this track with a strong coffee and my vox with hot seymour duncans, bit of reverb, drive, plus a little bit of phase... so nice!
I am loving the triad fingerings, it has opened a new world for me. I'm a bass player and have never needed to play chords. This is helping me to be a better guitar player, even though I'm not one. 😏👍
I play chords on bass too, but I feel lost on guitar, it seems a little different. I can play open chords and barre chords...This stuff is a big help, thanks!
This was also one of my first backing tracks. When i started i knew no scales or theory at all, i just did one of my favourite solos ever which included blues penta, harmonic minor and a bit of some weird flatted lydian thing that I still can't quite explain. i stole it from some bebop scale. But I'm getting there! Thanks :D

He has got an amazing array of stuff, there’s a lot that I can’t get into, but there’s a lot that I really love.

I play chords on bass too, but I feel lost on guitar, it seems a little different. I can play open chords and barre chords...This stuff is a big help, thanks!
@@stevenhazlewood398 Glad to hear it man! I play eight string guitar and I have a hunch it's a similar feeling.

@@nowyoushred forgot I even made the comment! Have a good day man, I love your channel.
C# Bebop Minor works too in small doses, I kept shifting between aeolean, minor pentatonic, and minor bebop and it never fell apart on me lol
Yeah man, what a great idea!
Great track, as always. ;)
Favorite Zappa song, badass lol.
My soul was taierd but when listen to this track I took my guitar for solo
Yessssss!
say that again ?
-Me: fan of Frank Zappa and I have a SG guitar
-Also me when I found this track:
"It's showtime"
Great googlymoogly!!
This track requires a binson delay and shades of muff
Haha, If you say so! I am inclined to agree
Filter into fuzz into chorus sounds niiiice
this goes so hard, playing until my fingers bleed
YEAH! Don't sue me tho bro! haha
BUT HE AS A MUFFIN!

FZ was a legit weirdo
Maybe so, but he was smart as fuck. Probably too smart for his own good
