Dude, this is like hypnosis for me: I'm having a bad day, throw this bad boy on, jam out and I get sucked in, on stage with Santana or something. Thank you for this.
Je ne sais pas pourquoi UA-cam me propose toujours cte backing rack. A chaque fois j'y retourne et à chaque fois j'y prends un méga pied. Et j'y reviendrai encore. Merci Seb.
Anyone who clicked a thumbs down for this backing track does not even know how to play a musical instrument. Thanks for a great backing track. Used my acoustic, made me wish I had an electric again!
Outstanding track. You know something is inspiring when you just get sucked in and play at the very top of your ability, or just beyond. That's what this track does for me. I just feel this Latin groove. Thanks!
Grand merci pour ce fabuleux playback à la façon Santana. Lorsque que je joue sur ce playback, j ai toujours l impression d être meilleurs guitariste que je ne suis vraiment !! Merci encore !
Very slick and groovy. I love tracks like these. Being a bassist, I don't get to play leads when jamming with others, but throwing on a track like this, I play a higher register, and do a nice groovy melodic lead. I appreciate it.
Now, I don't actually know Carlos' actual setup, but I played his first PRS the day it was delivered by Paul to Santana' at his show that night at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland. The strings were about 1/4" above frets, perhaps even higher. WAY higher than I could even begin to handle. The way Carlos explains it in interviews, the distance of the strings from the magnetic field of the pickups plays a significant role in the sustain. His "eternal note", of course, is also a product of the position of his wah pedal, and distance from and angle to the speaker. With less pickup influence on the string's vibration, and highly dense wood of guitar, there's more than adequate factors for a self-regenerative feedback. While since 1971 I'd been known for my heavy addiction to the Santana band, when I played that guitar, I began appreciating Carlos' finesse quite a lot more...... in terms of the hand strength alone to get those strings to travel such a distance to the fret, and with such perfect timing. Add to that his speed and bends, and yeah, Carlos is a monster guitarist.
I was just jamming out to it, enjoying it and all of a sudden Carlos Santana just took over my mind and started a total shred fest!! Thank you so much for posting this! 🙏🏽🏆🎧
You made my day! I hadn't even had my second cup of coffee and you woke me right up with this one. I never knew I could play this well so early in the morning. Thank you, brother. Keep up the great work.
Thank you played this until my fingers were raw Loved every minute thought I was Carlos!,Can't wait until they cool down then Ill be off again, Once again thank you.
This is a great backing trak the 5th frit is how I had been using that pattern this video made me fill like I had been doing it right all along and I have progressed and my confedence spiked some...thank you ...Roland J Gutierrez from Magdalene New Mexico USA ..
Really classy work here. The quality of production and musicianship are fantastic and I can really relate to the graphic layout. My improvisation skills and theory knowledge have really accelerated since I found this material. Thanks.
Excellent way to focus on the melody notes, you just sit the phone sideways and without even looking at the neck you can pick the next notes to play from the chart, play wherever you want. Then it becomes habit. Thankyou.
Great groove - makes a change from jamming twelve bars & playing the same old thing. This pushed me into some new melodic territory & with the notes up there to put me in the right place it was such a lot of fun! Must've played along with this one at least 25 times now. A favourite for sure! Thanks.! All the tracks I've checked out from you are knockout!
I agree with all these comments plus it's a great way to develop your style and work the scales . Only two chords in Am hear but easily moved to any key .
I like this track so much, I just bought it!!! Awesome production, great groove and it's long too. Gonna make some string noise with this one for a while.
Dude this is a master piece...the first time I played lead over this I was floored with emotion... You reach deep with this one....amazing track......Thank You for making my Valentines day cuz I LOVE This...... G String.

Sebastien Zunino....... interesting conga phrases here..... the "4-and" end of the tumba/conga is classical, but that "1 and 2" on quinto at beginning definitely works. Applauding your percussion track in that it's sparse and flows by its simplicity. Jazz deity Thelonius Monk coined the phrase "less is more". I'd been part of an aspiring band's beginnings....... their drummer was constantly busy with flourishes, even seeming to want to ooutpla the percussionist..... not so surprisingly the very busy drummer's name was..........wait for it.......... "Phil". The bass player had allegedly been much more involved with performance a number of years prior; given some consideration of his hiatus he had hope of reviving his talent. His name? "Rusty". Thanks for this and the shiploads of others of this genre..... be healthy, man.

I loop this track so I can switch and integrate Mixolydian. .. Dorian .. and extend into minor pentatonic .. and fool around with playing around the actual chord tonality .. I love this Santana style backing track .. It has helped find some of my sounds that I've felt but couldn't bring forward before .. Thanks
Thank you for this insane backung track.
My heart was freaking out, as I played along

This groove is insane! I'm gonna play this over and over again. I feel like a budget Guthrie Govan while doing some cheesy bluesy/jazzy licks :)

Finally after years and years in wonderland the Am pentatonic made sense (call me lazy) a lightbulb moment for me - thank you 🙏
This one is too fun! you can play basically anything over this bad boy.
Super backtrack, c'est génial pour bosser, bravo et merci !!
Found myself accidentally playing the melody to Oye Como Va while jamming to this. Brought back some nostalgia :)
What a beautiful piece, apart from being a backing track, I mean, I can drive 9 hours listening to this and not notice.

But this mode with the Latin Sound allowed me to experiment with my playing. Thanks for the backtrack
