Arch is a channel that releases high quality 30+ min videos on media like games, series and movies... aside from the shorter ones I guess :) - Розваги
I never thought I’d see someone come out of nowhere and make 3 great videos about analysis of things I am thoroughly interested in within a month of each other. Keep it up bro, can’t wait for the future of this channel.
Glad you enjoyed it, that's what this is all about!
well not from out of no where this is his first channel, I dont know if he still uploads but if your a fan of valorant in definitely subscribe his vids are great, www.youtube.com/@Archmeton/videos

This guy's actually gonna be big in a few months, he's already grown considerably.
His storytelling and use of minimalistic art really make his videos enjoyable and attention grasping.
you know he's gonna get big when the bots start thinking so. (Bot is now yeetus deletus)

facts, literally spit out my water after seeing that he already made 30k subs since when i subbed earlier this month
the art style really reminds me of retro ahoy who just disappeared couple of years ago
bro this guy reminds me of Ahoy but he actually uploads
how can someone go from game development to gaming history to tackling the necessity of death
Pretty much my brain at 3 AM

Just like that one concept in my head about the void after death...
Im scared of death not because of well, pain
Im scared of not being able to communicate with others
Or know if theres even something after death
Im scared of the unknown
And im scared facing my fears alone.
As an adopted kid, this movie brought my family together in ways I never thought possible. I love this movie so much, I cried so hard the whole time ;w;

I love the incredible quality that Arch has in his videos, keep the good work dude!
Thanks a ton!

Not only was Pussin Boots 2 really good but it had some of the best animation of last year. Dreamworks has been experimenting and knocking it out of the park when it comes to CG animation. It looks amazing and doesn't try to animate itself like many other CG films out there. It's discussion of death is really good, especially for a family movie.

I disagree in your opinion on immortality, i think immortality gives life meaning, because otherwise your short existence is meaningless
Not only games, Arch can talk about anything really, and make an good quality video with amazing editing. Love you channel.
I almost teared up a bit with the hit of realization you gave me at the end. Thank you for that. I adore your writing that will never be perfect, and will one day be topped. Thank you for not being perfect. Thank you for giving it meaning.
Thank you for writing a good comment that eventually will be topped, but for now it's an insane comment!
I will never stop watching Arch vids. High quality gold.
Arch is incredibly underrated! Your content is awesome and I'm always impressed by the amount of hard work you put into your videos. Can't wait to see you blow up!
I’m glad to be able to watch this video about an hour after it came out. I feel your channel has a lot going for it. I discovered it about 2 and a half hours ago. Can’t wait to see you grow and become one of the greats! Good luck pal.
Welcome aboard!
I think I have a few issues with the arguments about death in this video, so I'm gonna list them here in chronological order, feel free to click *Show more* if you are interested :)
3:20 - Technically not everyone has to "face" death (so long as you define "face" as "thinking about the imminant occurance of death"). Only very sick or very old people really "face" death in this way. I suppose though if you define "face" as "have to eventually experience" than I suppose that applies to everyone so long as you believe people who are unconscious can experience things... (i.e. babies, people dying in their sleep)
3:40 - I'm not sure how much I like the use of the word "eternally" here. Us alive humans have this perception of things being the same forever as boring or undesirable, however, this is not the case in death since you aren't actually experiencing this "eternity" (as far as we know, greek mythology may disagree xD). Anyway, our definition of eternity is kinda rooted in our sense of "experiencing sensory deprivation for a really long time". This is not the case with death as you do not experience it. Here's a quote that sums up my thoughts about the matter: "Close your eyes, count to one. Thats how long forever feels". So I *don't* think its too "harsh" a thing to be reminded of, at least so long as you think about it a bit...
3:50 - Yes, yes... the analogy here is that Puss in Boots is _literally_ confronting Death, but looking at the situation literally, I would argue Puss in Boots did not go into a panic attack from some kind of intellectual pondering of Death, I think it is just a fight-or-flight response to frightening external stimuli (i.e. a wolf 10x your size trying to kill you with a scythe).
4:06 - Ok, now _here_ is my biggest issue with the video. The idea that death is a *good thing* because it gives life meaning. You see, I question the idea that there is any kind of "meaning" to life in the first place. In my mind, meaning is just some concept that we've defined. Life does not stop just because we haven't defined its meaning. Defining your personal raison d'etre might make you feel more comfortable, and that reason might become even more meaningful to you because of your appreciation that life is not forever, but nowhere here is there any logical justification that _death is what gives life meaning_. That is an opinion (I'll come back to this later in my comment)
4:20 - No, because the individual is who defines what makes their individual life meaningful. They can choose whether or not they believe that their meaning would be made insignificant if they lived forever. The belief that life itself is insignificant is another such personal judgement. The existence of Death has no inherent logical connection to such a judgement.
4:34 - No, to be a UA-camr, you need to upload a video to UA-cam xD. Just the skill of "having an internet connection" required!
4:53 - The belief that "life is in some odd way one big competition" is subjective. _You_ choose to view the world as a big competition where the "best" gets raised to the top and the worst gets forgotten about. This may be a somewhat clean way to look at the world, but I think it has some major issues, the biggest of which is that the people judging the content have different tastes and what is an insightful video for one person is likely uninteresting or incomprehensible for another. A counterargument to this might be "well if everyone has infinite time to consume all knowledge there is and eventually everyone judges everything the same won't there be a true hierarchy of quality?" And to that I say: That's not compatible with the way human brains work. We tend to bias favor and enjoyment towards things we've experienced in our youth, when our neurons were less hard-wired and more open to experiencing new things.
5:10, for example: not everyone likes Leonardo Davinci, in fact I might say that _most people_ would rate Leonardo Davinci as below average compared to everything else they like).
5:25 - There is no "one perfect video", only videos that some set of people will enjoy.
5:50 - What about impressing yourself?
6:10 - Einstein was always just a scientist, what made him special is that he was in the right place at the right time to be the first to discover the theories of special and general relativity. If it wasn't Einstein it would have likely been someone else...
6:43 - Yes, it becomes standard in the sea of so many other great videos, but I doubt it becomes boring. It would only become boring if you watched it a 10 times over on repeat all at once... The enjoyment of a single video is not a function of how many other good videos there are out there, it dependent on how much dopamine your brain releases while watching the video. (Which is dependent on soo many other factors like your emotional state before watching the video or whether or not you already know what the video is talking about, or many other factors...)
7:04 - No, just because you got better at something doesn't mean your work is more appreciated. Just look at all the artists throughout history who weren't famous until after their death!
7:06 - 8:34 - This section of how "life is like a wave" sorta makes sense up until the end, where (iiuc) the argument is basically: a perfect life with access to the best there is to experience is equivalent to a life with no ups and down which is equivalent to Death. 1. A perfect life with no ups and downs doesn't exist even if people live forever because humans aren't just dopamine monkeys. Experiencing the best possbile foods, videos, experiences, etc. forever doesn't make life boring because we don't just live to experience these things constantly (delayed gratification is a thing, working towards goals for arbitrary reasons is still fun, thats why people play videogames!). And 2. Even if this "forever life" was as terrible as you're making it out to be, that doesn't necessarily equate it with Death. (arguably what you're discribing is unchanging sensory input, which sounds worse imo than no experience at all, which is what death is).
9:04 - This sounds like an advertisement for masochism xD. "Only when you've experienced near-death can you truly appreciate the highs of life!". Anyway, I disagree with the notion that you need to experience / contemplate death to enjoy life. I think life is enjoyable just as it is with the day-to-day ups and downs, I see no reason why an horrible experience is needed to create contrast with everything that comes after.
Anyway, to wrap this up, if I understood the video correctly, the main argument is basically: you should appreciate death because of its contrasting effect with the rest of your life. As someone who has experienced many happy and sad things in life I can definitely say that I did not enjoy the sad experiences and probably wouldn't mind not experiencing them so long as I still learned the same lessons without the painful emotions.
9:09 - The movie looks really cool though, I'll definitely watch it sometime!
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. I'll probably wake up in the morning and re-read this comment and see like a million different things wrong with it, but hey thats what happens when you write when you're tired.
With an infinite amount of time, would we not also learn to accept immortality just as today people accept their mortality
thanks for articulating what I felt.
Finally someone free from this preconceived idea of inherent goodness of Death. Just because something is part of nature and inevitable doesn't make it good.
@@Noname0039 I agree
This should be a video within itself. This is a pretty neat analysis of an analysis.
Arch, you are such an inspiration to me. You make me want to improve my quality as much as possible, and to upload things I actually want to communicate instead of trying to only focus on the algorithm. Thank you, and good luck!
In a sea of optimized content (and society) the only thing that stands out is the creative mind of the chill individual!
this movie is almost perfect, not just the story is well made, but the animation is also top tier, all the actions scenes are a masterpiece
i love this channel because of how simple it is, almost anyone can watch this and understand what the guy's trying to explain because he doesnt use any complex words and his minimalistic art is actually really nice
I love the way you introduced a lesson on philosophy through the visual arts. It elevates the experience of the art, while helping to explain the truth in the lesson. keep being you and making content you're passionate about!
I love this video so much. It can also apply to movies in general regarding Puss in Boots 2. With a bunch of mediocre or even bad movies seeing this movie that made me laugh and cry within minutes was such a great experience and joy of the year. Its truly become one of my favourite movies I'm not joking.
I could see this channel having a million subs by the end of the year with the art style alone
I’m so glad so many people are making videos about how good this movie was
Mate, how you're spinning these absolutely golden videos (despite what you're saying about being nothing special) at such a fast rate is mindboggling. I hope you don't go *too* hard and burn yourself out, but I'm eagerly awaiting the next one.
I just love how the videos have stuff from other videos hidden inside. Adds a nice detail, amazing videos continue this work
Tbh, everytime I come back to this channel, I keep wondering how you don't have like a million subs
What a great debut!
I love the minimalistic style. Very easy on the eyes and the voice is so soothing I could watch this over dinner.
I admire your ability to make such high quality and well rounded videos at this pace
i can not believe how good these videos are. ive never seen a channel come straight out of the void and be amazing like this

Puss in Boots 2 is a really special film for me, because I watched it with some friends in a cinema in Dublin on our language trip from school. It was my first time in Ireland and I will always contect this film with the trip.
Im so glad i found this channel :) keep up the good work man ! Hope to see you grow substantially in the future !!
I watched your first video and it was really good, I am really happy that this is possibly better than that! Good job and keep it up!
Love the work! Can’t wait to see the 1mil Subs video!
I love the fact you're videos are like ahoys, highly underrated channel!
Love how everything is explained. Death is a hard concept to accept and understand. For some, it's a great fear. For others (with various reasons), it's an end to suffering. It's very difficult to create a proper explanation for death's effect on us, and you did it with flying colors. You are correct; in a world where death did not exist, well, wars would not exist, and everyone could be the best at everything. They had infinite time to improve. However, one thing I think you left out is that, with infinite time, a lot of people would procrastinate infinitely and never get anything done. Nonetheless, you did an amazing job at simplifying and explaining a very heavy topic that sometimes the human brain can barely even comprehend.
bro these vids are epic pls continue on them!
I love Ubisoft’s golf club at 6:58. It’s a great touch to an already amazing video!
Yo your video essays are so amazing, both in script and production. Easiest subscribe of my life!
well that actually gave me a little light as i'm literally at my lowest low currently... thanks for the video, you're the best.
Been loving your videos, keep up the good work. Your editing style reminds me a lot of Ahoy's, wich is always a plus.
3 top quality videos within basically a month? Mad Respect. Can't wait for your next upload about advertisement as I am a self employed salesman myself. I really feel that I could learn things from your upcoming video that I could effectively use to improve my sales numbers & marketing. Keep at it, King!
