Well that’s according to your skill set of driving, etc. you can have a lot of fun with a brushed motor. But from experience, when buying an rc made for speed. I normally go brushless bc you can always tune down the speed. But if you go brushed, you can’t tune up the speed past a certain point if you want more power. But for instance with slower geared rc crawlers, I have some brushed vehicles I love. But to answer your question for a vehicle made for speed, I would go brushless.
