Hello everyone! Charlene here, back with another emotional reaction. Today, I'm experiencing Queensrÿche's "Silent Lucidity" for the first time. I’ve never heard this band before, so I’m excited to dive into their music and see what all the buzz is about!
Queensrÿche's "Silent Lucidity" is a beautiful and profound song that truly touched my heart. From the soothing intro to the powerful crescendos, this track is like a lullaby for the soul, blending progressive rock elements with a deeply emotional narrative. Geoff Tate's vocals are hauntingly beautiful, guiding us through a lucid dream.
The guitar solo was a standout moment, not just technically impressive but also packed with emotion, perfectly complementing the song's theme of lucid dreaming and subconscious exploration. The orchestral arrangements add another layer of depth, making this track an auditory masterpiece.
The lyrics offer great advice on overcoming fears and finding inner strength. The message of self-awareness and introspection is wrapped in a beautiful melody that stays with you long after the music ends. This was my first time hearing Queensrÿche, and I’m already looking forward to exploring more of their music!

Yes, heartfelt reaction from you. You're not alone in those feelings.
I have loved original lineup Queensryche for decades! They have SO MANY wonderful songs! As another commenter suggested, to hear the flip side of what the band and lead singer, Geoff Tate can do, check out "TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME" Live in Tokyo 1984. They were just beginning then, but you wouldn't know it by how tight and good they are.
IMO Geoff is the best singer I've ever heard! He has complete control, and always gives an emotional and intense delivery. They write great lyrics, and bring a bit of magic to each one.
    A couple other recommendations:
    "ANYBODY LISTENING?"
    "WALK IN THE SHADOWS"
    "JET CITY WOMAN"
    "ANOTHER RAINY NIGHT"
And if you like those, their highly acclaimed concept album, "OPERATION:MINDCRIME" is a one long story told in flashback. Best to hear it in sequence, with headphones on and lyric sleeve in front of you. It will be quite a journey!
I've never seen a better live band than them either!
Enjoyed your reaction, and hope you do more of the original lineup of QR!

Lovely, honest react. I've been a huge fan them since 1988, and have seen them many times live. A good candidate, I think, off hand because there's soo many great songs of theirs , ...would be 'Take Hold of the Flame ' ...VERY popular reaction video. And then we'll go from there. ✌️

Leaving the second chorus unclosed is so, so smart.
    Further recommendations:
"I Will Remember", from their MTV Unplugged session.
"Eyes of a Stranger"... Killer, killer song. (literally?)
Their cover of "Scarborough Fair" is stunning, and has very few reactions.
    I've been a fan since the 80s.

I bet you'd LOVE a reaction video to this song by "The Fairy Voice Mother" entitled "Vocal Coach Reacts to Queensryche Silent Lucidity"! She's very knowledgeable, entertaining, and just delightful to hear and watch. ☺️
