Thanks for this review of the cargo area. Most reviewers only show you the cargo area empty, and it is hard to visualize the actual size, and without something back there, on video the space looks quite small. Your review using your luggage as a visual aid was very helpful and shows that for many, it could be quite doable.

Great review on the rear storage which the overwhelming majority of consumers are not happy about. Toyota should have just not made it a third row SUV and not used the hybrid battery.

The Grand Highlander is their roomiest 3-row and I expect it to sell well. This is for a different consumer.

My Sienna has better 2nd row seats. You can fold it and move backwards & forwards. Sequoia should do it to increment the confort of the 3rd row seats

What a joke. To fit suitcases you basically make the third row unusable. Why didn't Toyota convert the 4door tundra with full size bed into an SUV?

That would have been a Suburban competitor, not a Tahoe. Would make for a compelling vehicle though.
The reason for the lack of space is the solid rear axle and the battery for the hybrid powertrain.
