@@rightlanehog3151 same here low spec models= ,more payload, more towing just the fold down 3rd row seats takes up to much space and there's a big gap between the 2nd- 3rd row when the sets are folded flat. bad design . all so you have to get a sunroof even if you dont want one do like the grille over the tundra and the shorted wheelbase to

Same here. What a deal breaker. I am a Toyota fan, but while reliability is a huge factor, comfort is also up there. Third row is a bummer. I was waiting or this redesign… pretty big miss.
I think the Limited with the TRD Offroad package is the way to go instead of the TRD Pro.
That cargo area is an absolute killer for me. Gonna look elsewhere for a real 3rd row and a place for groceries
Name one vehicle in this class that competes? The Escalade? 😢
That's how it is in these SUVs, get a Suburban if you want a bus.

@@Superman-xr1oh care to mention another 3 row suv of this size where the third row seats can’t be stowed away into the floor or at least be able to remove them?
The only other two (hybrids) in Toyotas line up would be the grand Highlander and the Lexus TX. And neither of those have this issue.
And then if you go non hybrid (which isn’t a fair comparison because they don’t have hybrid batteries to store) you have the LX. Again doesn’t have this issue. And this all within Toyotas line up.
You can love Toyotas without being blind lol

Love the total package ❤️ Color and chrome accents, front grill, rear deck and lights. So glad Toyota is dumping the all black accents. They should have done this with the 4-Runner. Love that RED exterior and the sweet interior. Thanks Jeff😊👍 Have a Happy New Year.

Jeff, I sincerely feel the 18' rims on the SR5 and TRD Off-Road models will substantially aid ride quality on potholed streets and rough trails. Just sayin'. 😁
If I'm going to pay 72k for a Limited, might as well go all out and get the Capstone at 82k fully loaded with all the bells/whistles, much better interior trim quality, almost Lexus grade. That super sonic red is a gorgeous color for the Sequoia though

This is pretty much a pickup truck without the bed. If you like how a pickup truck drives this is the car for you. In terms of luxury and smooth riding I think I prefer another brand.
I couldn’t not be distracted by the giant infotainment screen lol. Other than that, I love the vehicle.
Does this model have the same engine issue with the tundra???
Why are the seats light in this one? Most of the ones I've seen on line have darker seats. I definitely prefer the lighter interior.

It is really shameful that Toyota allows some dealers to add whatever markups the want.
They should add direct ordering from the factory.

It’s a Tundra. Pick up truck EPA numbers for sure. Hybrid? Considering what the Highlander can do this should at least have been around 30 MPG combined. It’s a miss by Toyota and it seems for them it was a after thought since the electric market is heating up. Lastly these prices are terrible. The trunk space with the seats up is an absolute joke. Spend that money on an expedition, Tahoe, suburban or any one of the other American big SUVs and you won’t be playing Tetris back there leveling surfaces and leveling jugs 😂

This is a beautiful looking SUV, unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The Sequoia is very competitive… if it were in the MIDSIZE segment!
I understand it was either this or nothing considering Toyota was about to discontinue the Sequoia but still, to be this horrible regarding interior space and cargo carrying ability is very disappointing. Big families are much better off going for a Sienna or a Tahoe(if they must have a full size suv).
Not everybody wants a minivan or GM product. This is a sturdy, rugged SUV in a segment that's dominated by boxy, ugly SUVs.
Unfortunately the new Sequoia is not good enough to compete with his rivals in the 3 row SUV class , i think that Toyota does not a good job with this one.
I really liked it. Until the interior. I don't understand how it's such a big vehicle and they got rid of so much useable space in the back.

You just pull or tumble the third row forward for plenty of room for groceries or dogs. It’s like the minivan of SUVs.

It’s 2023 and it only gets 20 mpg lmfao I’m van from 2008 gets that kind of gas mileage. Over priced vehicles. But I guess if you can afford a $70,000 SUV then you can afford the gas
Why are you hating? It’s more about fuel mileage. My old Sequoia was lucky to get 12-14 City and 16 highway, so this new one is a huge increase in fuel mileage.
