I really enjoyed that video with the Limited Slip Diff. Keep up the great videos.
DickNickle thank you! Will
Do!
This is so good to know I was about to take my sc to the muffler shop to get the cat deleted, thanks bro ! 🙏🏽 love the content btw
Michael Meza anytime. I couldn’t find any real info on if this would bolt right in or not and figured I was not the only one to wonder about it. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m Working on a different exhaust set up next. Just need the weather to be nicer!
Edward3jr do you think a Supra y-pipe would bolt right up as well?? Or is that a push haha
Thanks for taking a chance and getting it bro!
Anytime!
Thanks for posting this. Hope to have this done as well thanks to your tutorial.
Great vid and informative, been trying to find a midpipe myself.
Yeah since covid these mid-pipes have gotten harder to find.
A definite must for my new sc 👍🏾
Nice! That’s a great deal on that midpipe
eBay special lol
Awesome videos bro your channel is sick
Gary Alexander thank you!
Love SC300! Nice swap :)
Naok thank you!
Great video as always
Thank you!
First! Also it sounds really good in person!
Thanks!
I need help how can I fix the code 71 for the egr
I’m sure you mentioned it and I missed it but what year TT Supra is this off of? I need to order one for my 92sc300. Thanks
That was very detailed & thorough. Sounds like a big 🐱 cat now... Purrr.
Angel Delerme thanks!
I recently bought a 95 SC300. Your channel is lit man! Also you think this midpipe would bolt up to stock exhaust?
Thank you for watching and Yes this will bolt right up to your stock exhaust! sorry for the late reply. let me know if you have any questions about this.
So is the factory header 3 inch? Also your midpipe link expired, just fyi. Trying to make sure I get the correct stuff. Some of the photos of these things dont look the same as what you have in the video
A Definite good look on the video. I can't find this midpipe online anymore. Is this the same as Circuit werks? Do you think it would bolt up to a 3" single turbo downpipe?
Auto-Motive thank you! This midpipe comes and goes on eBay. I think it’s the same as circuit werks. as long as your 3 inch down pipe has the same flange as this midpipe it will work. Let me know if you have any questions
@@Edward3jr thanks man
Good job kid !!!!!
Iron Hawk thank you!
Nice video. Just wondering what you did with the O2 sensor that is usually attached to the front of the mid pipe ? I've always had problems with that O2 sensor going bad. (giving me a 0141 code.)
I've had to change that mid pipe twice so far due to rust and leaking. You are so right about the gaskets, don't go cheap, most leaks will be due to cheap gaskets. I personally try to keep the car as quiet as it can be because it keeps me off the radar. Its a fast car. No need to Yell, just fly. 97 sc300 stock.
So, I did not have an o2 sensor on my mid pipe. Some do. In your case, you will have to have a bung welded to your mid pipe. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
@@Edward3jr I just changed my o2 sensor last week, and new gasket. Noticed the engine at start up was running better. Before fixing o2 sensor, engine at start up, would run high ideal 2200rpm. It would take 5-10min, just to get down to 600rpm ideal. Now with new o2, car starts at a 1600rpm to warm up and drops rpm within 2min to 600 rpm idle. I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one doing repairs and upgrades.
Items that I have changed or repaired on my Sc300:
Rear passenger wheel bearing and hub.
All four Struts.
Flexible brake lines Front end.
Caliper seals and piston.
Repaired power steering return line.
Replaced main Fan blade on rad cooler.
Flushed out the heater core. (great heat now)
Need to fix A/c one day, but not important when you have a sunroof and +200Hp.
Keepin the Sc300 alive.
Until I buy a Tesla. Peace.
Great stuff right here
Much appreciated
Any exhaust recommendations? Really wanted a blitz nur but i cant find one.
Try to find a blitz exhaust, if you can’t your only other option is power house racing or go custom.
Sounds dope 👌
worng Im ImaJos PlaynHolmes thank you!
after the midpipe, did you run custom 3 inch piping?
Billy V it has what I believe to be a 2.5 inch eBay exhaust. I’m not a fan of it and I’m looking upgrading to a full 3inch single exit cat back in the near future.
What if you delete the cats by the header, and leave the secondary?🤔
👀
Hi but can I do this to my 1994 sc400 too the back cats have a oxygen sensors in them ...I just can't leave them hanging I will get the check engine light if I take those off.
You can do this, but you’ll have to have a o2 sensor bung welded on so you can run the oxygen sensor.
@@Edward3jr oh okay so take it shop they put hole in it...cool..thanks
KangoKid Kidd i just wanted to add more details, in your case if you want to run an oxygen sensor you have to have a bung added. Most welders will charge 50-100 to do this. I suggest going under the car first and marking exactly where you want it welded. If you run this without doing this you’ll have a CEL. My car did not have this oxygen sensor and all aftermarket mid pipes don’t have anything for the oxygen sensor. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
I got a 93 And it has a o2 sensor on the midpipe. Did yours not have it?
wattssounds my car is a 95 and I’m 100% certain that there were no sensor on my stock midpipe. There’s not even an o2 sensor bung on the eBay midpipe I used. Maybe it’s different for early models? Thanks for mentioning this.
Edward3jr damn maybe it’s a automatic sc300 thing. Just earned a sub tho 🤟🏾
wattssounds thanks for the sub! let me know if you have more questions!
Do u think this will fit in a 98 gs300? Trying to charge me 800 to re due my exhaust
Im sorry for the late reply, Gaza performance Garage just made a video about this. I believe he had to modify the exhaust though. ua-cam.com/video/kRYjirJ5ClQ/v-deo.html
Damn this one isn't available on eBay anymore. Just purchase a HKS one thought hopefully its the same
I think the hks one is better!
Are the bolts you got M10x1.5?
Darryl Robinson I cant remember off of my head, but I want to say M8x1.5 I’ll try to find out for sure and update the description. Sorry about that.
Did you get a light cuz of the no 02 or was it ok
No lights the car didn’t have an 02 sensor
@@Edward3jr I Have a 92 and it has one after the cat this one didn’t ?
Daniel Vasquez interesting, is it a Cali car? That could be why. Otherwise I have a 92, and a 95 and I do not have an o2 sensor on the midpipe
@@Edward3jr hm maybe I’m dumb it’s not a cali car
Do you happen to have a link for this I can’t find it
Hi..where do you buy the supra midpipe
I found this on ebay!
Don’t love just love that the dealerships tend to ben people the fuck over for their money? Greedy bastards. Great job btw. Good vid
Thank you! yeah they really wanted me to touch my toes.
can you post a link for a midpipe ii'm having trouble finding one
Aaron Snyder the midpipe I used in the video appears to no longer be available right now. Here is the midpipe I would use right now. Let me know if you have any questions. www.ebay.com/itm/203029903824
@@Edward3jr if only I could get this in Cali haha, this would mate up just fine with a na ge?
j j damn, I’m sure there’s worse thing being brought in to Cali than this lol. yes bolts right up! Let me know if you have any questions.
Beo could you send me the link on that midpipe for the sc300 please
HILLARD WRIGTH that mid pipe is no longer available, but this HKS one should work. www.ebay.com/itm/203029903824
Thanks bro 🙏 peace
HILLARD WRIGTH anytime!
How do you delete the o2 sensors.? I wanna run a supra midpipe to delete my bad cat on my sc300 but it's a 1999-2000 with a o2 sensor on it
The easiest thing to do is have an oxygen sensor bung welded on to that mid pipe. Any exhaust shop can do this for you for cheap. When you do this, match the location with what’s on the stock mid-pipe.
@@Edward3jr Okay thanks but just curious. Do I really need that o2 sensor.? And is there a way to go around it.?
@@bakihanma7247 I’m not familiar with the later model sc,but I’m thinking if you remove it, the best case scenario is a check engine light. The worse case is it doesn’t run right. I’d be very cautious about removing that sensor. Is it a single wire o2 sensor or a 4 wire sensor?
@@Edward3jrI've looked everywhere on a write up on these and can't seen to find anything. it's a 2 wire sensor. So my car has 4 o2 sensors I've only read that the 2 front sensors are to check if the engine running good and the back 2 to check if the cats working good. Well since I'm deleting my cats I was thinking I might not need them idk 🤔
@@Edward3jr I also have one more question. Sorry for all the questions man but it really helps me I appreciate it fam. I know you don't work on the later sc's but anychance you might know if the earlier SC 92-97 header+midpipe will fit the later model SC 98-00.
are cats important?
Depends on where you live... 🤷🏾♂️ lol
@@Edward3jr I love you exhaust set up on you cheap sc that Im also going to buy the same set up. 👌👌
Do you know if this will fit on a 99 sc300?
Eric Lopez yes it should!
@@Edward3jr thanks! I appreciate you replying back! And love the videos!
Eric Lopez anytime!
Eric Lopez hey, I just double check and if your stock mid pipe has o2 sensors this midpipe will need to have those added on. You can have a welder weld the bungs on for you. Sorry about this.
@@Edward3jr its okay! its no problem thanks for the heads up
What abt the o2 sensor?
Martin Acevedo I did not have an o2 sensor, but some sc300s do. If you have an o2 sensor, you’ll need to have a bung welded for it.
@@Edward3jr I have a 97 sc300 & I have 4 o2 sensor, thanks for the info I just subscribe to your channel
Martin Acevedo anytime! Let me know if you have any questions and Thank you for subscribing!
Did you get a code?
D R because It’s after the cat/o2 sensors no codes.
@@Edward3jr so there was no o2 sensor on the cat you removed? I have a 97 so mine might be different but thanks for the info.
D R good point, Mine is a 95 but it may be different with the late models. I’ll look into this some more and see if I can find out for you.
Anyone ever had a clogged cat on a sc300 and it sound like a misfire.?
Good question! I have never experienced this, hopefully someone will comment. Best advice I can give you is to take it off and inspect it if you’re really concerned. While it’s off, you can drive it if there’s any difference
@@Edward3jr Okay good idea I'll try driving without it. I been having this misfire problem for a month now. I changed plugs, wires, coilpacks, maf sensor, air filter, I inspected for vaccuum leaks. It starts to mis fire at around 2500rpm and can't go no faster than 30mph.
@@bakihanma7247 I don’t think this is your cat. Does it break up?
@@Edward3jr Yea sounds like it is. I've gone to see many mechanics around my area and none of them seem to figure it out. Check engine light is on and it's the o2 sensor bank 1 that it's reading. I have the 2nd gen 2000 sc300 automatic. I'm starting to go crazy over this Lol but I love these cars I wanna fix it
@@bakihanma7247 you will be surprised what a bad 02 sensor will do. Have you replaced that?
