Can you give more detail on Wheel/Tire Setup? Size wheels and tires with offset any fender mod to make this work without rubbing weight of the wheels/tires compared to stock? Thanks for your information. 95 SC300 restored bone stock, resisting the urge to start modding. Haha
Hey you have been a lot of help with my build, evry time I look something up you come up , and if you want I found a company that makes an adapter plate for a tt400 that go's on eny 2j I'll give you the info if you want it
Hey since you might be knowledgable on the topic, you know what the deal with the grill setups? I see some with the smooth, Supra like front and some with the vent cut, was this an option or is this aftermarket?
What state are you from? I heard you say the DMV area and im from the Tri state area. Im looking to buy an SC and doing a build but i dont have the room for another car at the moment yet i will be ready very soon. looking for some SC support
Nice! Hey did you ever do piston rings on this motor? I know you did head work, but any block work with 240k miles? Asking Bc I did a leak down test and got upper moderates on all 6 cylinders after only having the head machined. Car was running fine before I tore her apart.
I did not touch the bottom end. I contemplated this, and partly regret not doing so. To save on time and money I opted to just keep it simple. But plan to do a full rebuild later later down the road
My nit-pic for the day: NA = Naturally Aspirated. T=Turbo. Turbo=Forced Induction. Naturally Aspirated and Forced Induction are mutually exclusive conditions. Therefore there is no such thing as a NA-T 2J. It's a turbo'ed 2JZ-GE. The cars are awesome non the less and I wish Edward was my neighbor. I'm doing a moderate restoration on a 98 SC300 with Platinum Silver over black. Long live the SC300 and the amazing 2JZ!
na-t means the motor is the naturally aspirated version with an aftermarket turbo modification. they call it na-t to differentiate the "-ge with aftermarket turbo" and the "-gte stock turbocharged"
@@Edward3jr ill look into them...i seen them on driftmotion but aem is bigger and figured more tunners knew program if got the newer version...but was 1800.00 and that alot of $$ ecu master is like 1200 right?
