Great tips! I enrolled my 7-year old daughter to share my closet a few times per day. It's so easy she can do it her eyes closed. She gets to play on my phone for a little bit once she's done with Mommy's work on Poshmark!

Wow! I was always wondering why you couldn’t share your whole closet and I thought that idea would have made life so much easier. I’m so glad I watched this video. The reasoning makes soooo much sense and it’s nice to know that Poshmark cares about the little people as well. I wanted to take the time to actually thank you for all your awesome content. Thank you so much. I just started listing an I did not know how to share. I know that seems silly. Your videos help me a lot. Also I have psoriatic arthritis so to know the best way to share with out over use of my joints is so important. I plan to get more listings on tomorrow and start sharing. It took me a long time to begin listing on poshmark. I have sold on eBay for six year. Poshmark just scared me. Fear of messing up fear of the unknown. For those without an iPad, I always share via the website browser on my phone when I’m out and about. It’s pretty quick as well. You can save a bookmark on the desktop site to the homepage of your phone screen. Just don’t “open in app” (I have an iPhone) . “X” out the prompt to “open in app”. Then start sharing

quick Q. if you will..i'm a newbie on Poshmark and was wondering, if i make an honest mistake over an item that i thought was authentic, and buyer says its not..and poshmark sides with the buyer, what is the potential fallout for the seller ? Let me say it first before anyone suggests it, NO i do not plan to sell fake items..i want to know what happens, if i do post an item thinking its authentic - by mistake. thanks

I'm actually a big time seller on Poshmark & I but still do respect Poshmark for not allowing ppl to share their entire closet because honestly it really wouldn't be fair. We big timers would take over & it would hurt the smaller sellers & here's the thing - we ALL started out small! Everyone had to start somewhere. And I wouldn't be a big timer if I hadn't had the chance to spread my wings & grow. Sharing is one of the best things that Poshmark does & I think is the reason it succeeds as a company.

there is an app called closetmate that allows you to share your listings as much as you want, but it does it for you
I just purchased an iPad Pro. I usually “style” my likes by choosing poker, switch to sell mode, add likes to bundle, add a comment, and make an offer. I can do this on my phone, but my iPad doesn’t show their likes in bundle/sell mode🤷♀️. Have you done this on your iPad? Any tips? Love your videos, miss you! Thank you in advance.

I’m going to start on poshmark to pay off some debt and your generous advice is so helpful and appreciated. Funny, in the video, I saw myself as one of your new followers when you were showing your sharing technique on the ipad. I feel like a made a new friend in you. Blessing for 2019!
I’ve always shared my closet this way, however I’ve noticed that I when I shared this way I would get very little notifications (of people sharing my items etc.) I’m not sure if It’s the fact that I shared too fast and Poshmark probably thought I was a bot. But once I started sharing via the Edit, Next, List method my notifications / sales went up substantially. 😩

Idk if it's because I have an Android but if i accidentally click on something else while sharing and click back, it takes me back to the same spot in my closet... whew. That would suck! Thanks for the tips! I tried using my computer to share and it seemed way slower than the app. I don't have a tablet to try, but maybe one day when I have thousands of listings ;) thanks for making this video

Unfortunately, you’re not able to just hit the back arrow when you tap your closet name by accident. It brings you to the top of the page and is refreshed then it takes forever to scroll all the way back down to the bottom.

I just tried this and it is much faster ! Thanks ! I noticed something else when I went to my closet this way, there is an option that says “closet widget “ do you know what that is ? I hope that makes sense ,instead of clicking on my closet ,further down the list it says closet widget. Apparently you can share to certain people but I don’t really understand it !😩 you are more tech savvy then me maybe you can explain it !
debbie malina a widget is something you put on a website to provide a glimpse into your Posh closet. Like if you had a blog and your Posh closet was items you had worn that your readers could buy

I used to do ALL my selling on Tradesy & it was great - I made some ok/good money, etc. - but there is no way AT ALL to put your items before buyers. And, as you can guess, their sales went way down & they advertise like no one else but they are really struggling. If they changed their venue to have something like sharing available I think they could make a comeback. But they've got to make those changes to compete. Until then, I'm Poshmark all the way!

Why is sharing on the app more time-consuming for most people? Is it different on the Apple version of the app? I assume that's the issue because I can't think of any other reason. Sharing on the Android app and on a tablet or touch-screen desktop are about for me... obviously I have to scroll a tad more on a smaller screen, but that's nothing really. Anyway, it's ideal because I can share while I'm out sourcing, at an appointment, waiting for the bus, etc.
I've been sharing from my phone to pinterest.. but I still have 0 shares showing in my closet.. so now I'm trying to find a way to share.. it will always be from my phone.. but I'm having issues. I'd love to support the community..
But I dont know how and I've looked at at least 12 UA-cam videos.. still no luck
Hey! Love your videos, super fun & helpful. Quick sharing question - do you regularly share your listings to poshmark’s parties? Do you find that it’s helpful with your sales? And do you know if sharing a listing to a party works the same as a share to your followers in that it also shares your listing to the regular feed and puts your listing at the top of brand searches? I believe it does, but I no longer use this method. I use a program called PosherVA to share

Linda Perlak, try this.
With your phone camera go to Camara, choose the SQUARE button (always take photos on square). Take the picture. Save it to your files like you normally do ( maybe it just saves for you). Do any needed cropping now. Put the poshmark app on your computer or tablet. Open app. Find were you can get started as a seller (not sure what button to click on for that). Answer the questions pertaining to becoming a seller. After that it will make you put your own picture on ( it can be you, a pet, or anything & then change it later). After all that it will take you directly to the page where you will list your first item. If not, find the page by doing this; look at the bottom of the screen for “Sell” (or somewhere else, mine is at the very bottom with other buttons all going horizontal, this is with my kindle device the buttons say; Feed, Shop, Sell, News, Account). So back to the process - click on Sell. It will take you to the form to complete a listing. The first thing you do is to put at least 1 picture on the listing page. You will do this by clicking on the first box that says Add a Photo. Then find the file icon and click on it ( the icon looks like a vanilla file folder shape). Choose the file where your personal pictures are, click on the appropriate file. Allow Poshmark to be able to view your personal photos (that is so that you can transfer the photo to your Poshmark listing), click on your 1 photo, it will transfer to your listing page, then complete the rest of the listing details including the heading (limit of 50 characters) and the description of the dress (when asked for the original price for retail, put 0 or the retail price). Then click on the List button ( mine is on top right). It will give you a choice to put it on some other platforms (i.e. Facebook) but skip that for now. It has now been posted to your “Closet”. You can look at your closet by finding the Account button then My Closet. You can add stuff or change stuff by clicking on your dress picture in your closet, then find the Edit button.
Hope this helps. Some of this is probably out of order, but I bet you are more savvy than I am. I am tellling you all this because it took me foreeeever to find out how to do this. And really I don’t think I ever did find something that explained it. I am new and started Dec ‘19. Try this gals on UA-cam she explains some of these processes, She is @emptyhanger . Hi Jenna, What browser did you use to get to Poshmark? I used Dolphin and was able to get as far as trying to access Poshmark but access to Poshmark was denied on the basis the password was wrong. It is not wrong since I use it to enter Poshmark on my laptop. Any ideas?

Hi. Thanks for the video. I am a little confused because I thought when you shared your own closet it only went out to your own followers and not to the brand feed. I was under the impression you had to do the edit next list to go to the brand feed. Also when someone else shares your listing does it only go to their followers? And not to the brand feed? THANKS!

Sharing your own items moves it up is search results, however when someone else shares your items it only shares to their followers. Amber Resells has a video called "A Poshmark Sharing Myth + 5 Sharing Strategies" where she tests it out.

It doesn't make much sense to me to share a sold listing, but I see people doing it. Is there a reason to share sold listings?

I think most people place a higher price on their items in order to leave room for negotiating, etc. I ALWAYS send an offer to likers as soon as someone likes one of my items. I like to get them while they’re on Poshmark browsing around or whatever. I figure that if they like item X at $50, then they’ll really love item X at $45with discounted shipping. I would say that 75% of the time that I do this, they buy it. I wanted to ask you about something else, tho. If another Posher goes thru your closet and shares ALL your items, do you feel obligated to share their entire closet? It’s not that I don’t want to reciprocate, it’s about the time it takes to share a 100 or so items from another closet. Does this happen to you and if so, how do you respond?
What if you don’t have followers? Or you only have a few? Does that mean I’ll bombard them with shares? Thank you for your videos btw, they are great!

What times of day do you share? I started sharing during lunch time (between 11:30 and 1:00) somewhere between that time frame. I share at least one more time a day (usually after dinner time). Weekend times vary since more people are home and off of work.
What happens if you don’t have followers...how do you share then?
