I have been active on Poshmark for just over a month. First sale was on June 2 and to date I have 25 total. I have been searching for someone on UA-cam who not only tells how to be successful, but actually is. The first thing I do is go to their closet and see what's up. Without a doubt you are the most credible I have come across and are very easy to listen too. So far I don't see any annoying hand jestures, somebody off screen commenting, animals in your lap, beeping smoke detector that needs a battery change going off every 30 seconds, etc. Keep up the great content. I am looking forward to seeing what Granny thrifted for you.

I just discovered your channel and I think you're fantastic. I was wonding if you could do a video that provides information about taxes, business license, right offs, etc. When it comes to your reselling process?
If you have jeans in your closet, search on poshmark the brand and size and hit sold. Find people who liked those jeans on each sold listing, follow them and direct share your jeans to them. Especially if you have extra small sizes. I do this with 00 sizes with dresses and xxs and xs dresses and shirts. Its another way to find specific buyers who liked those items in other peoples closets who wasnt able to purchase them.

I’ve been on eBay a while and I’d made a Posh account weeks ago but hadn’t touched it because it’s a whole different world when you’re used to eBay haha. I didn’t think I’d like the community aspect and was confused by it, but I finally made the plunge and put up my first few listings tonight. I’m amazed at how quick and clean the listings are! Sharing makes a lot more sense and I appreciate the explanations! I am definitely hooked on Poshmark now!
If you are going to use social media, pay attention to the fine print. Twitter for example, you give them the right to follow people on your behalf as well as post for you. I personally followed around 15-20 people on my own on, and I'm currently following 154 because of Poshmark.

I have a question, who does the edit next list go to? Because, I just started a couple weeks ago, and that is what I have been doing. I just was thinking it would be seen by a lot more people. Because the share to followers would only go to people who really sell on there and not people who are just there to buy. And from the videos I have watched the followers are not as important because most people just follow to get followed back, and not because they like your stuff. They are just clicking follow, follow, follow...and not even looking really, bc they are trying to sell just like me. What is your take on it?
New at this myself and just learning the whole thing...maybe follow newcomers on the app that you see have no listings? It may mean they are just there to buy...
When you share your own listings using "share to followers" it puts that listing at the top of the list when you search for it and shares it to the feed. Test it out to make sure your listing is showing up in different searches. When you share other people's listings "share to followers" their listing is shared to the feed but it doesn't go to the top of the list in the search. Using Edit Next will share your listing to a party if it can be. But it's faster to do share to followers.
Another strategy I use is when listing to share/follow the listing to the right of my listing I gain new followers and generally my item is shared by them also

Great Video! I use both my phone and laptop when sharing. I don't use the app on my phone, instead I use firefox browser and use the poshmark website and the sharing is as easy as on the laptop. Try it!

I'm a little confused on why I share to my followers I understand that it's going to show in the listings but what I don't understand is I don't how do I know I'm looking at my followers shares I can't anywhere that it says I'm seeing specifically my followers shares. I wonder if I'm doing it wrong I was hoping that when I share that I'm specifically sending it to my followers and not into just a sea of listings but I can't or don't know where to find where my followers are sharing their items other than just searching for an item I realize I can go directly to the follower so it's a little confusing

Yeah I’m stuck in a shade group. I haven’t shared in the group for months. But they put me on break. But how do you get out? It’s to much work to share my stuff and then share other people’s stuff. It honestly doesn’t help me sell clothes with this sharing group.

You can. Go to your fave closet. Then look to the upper right. See those little 3 dots? Click on them. Right on top you'll see 'Share This Closet.' 😊 @vintageval
I have a question about stars. Can anyone besides myself see the star ratings? I have all 5 star ratings except 2 with 4 stars. I have no idea why the 4 stars, both items NWT from a retail store not a thrift store so no odors, they are from a smoke, pet, & fragrance free home and I wrap my items with such care using a box, clear bag, tissue, ribbon, Washi tape, personal note etc. They left no love note just the 4 stars. Worried this will keep potential buyers from making a purchase, so just wondering if they can even see my star ratings. Great video as always I will try sharing my likes and see what happens.
Potential buyers can see your stars if the go to your About button. I believe that most don't look for that because Poshmark does a good job with their guarantees. I received a 3 star rating for Coach shoes that were in EUC. it was explained explicitly in the description and I had many good pictures of the shoes. Customer said they were "dirty"?? I had cleaned them up and they looked nearly new. I contacted Poshmark and they cannot do anything about ratings even if they are done in a manner to try to bring your ratings down. I also received a 4 star rating on a NWT Miss Me top that was in a clear bag, no-smoking home, pet free as well. Some people are just that way. Just keep with your awesome customer service and great items and they will sell themselves. Happy Poshing!!! @shireenaudra on Posh :)

Empty Hanger yes... so it's a posh ambassador who facilitates it and honestly it's hella confusing. You comment shine BRIGHT like diamond on a mock listing and then they share so many closets (gems of the day) and you have to go to each closet and share some pics and then add that person's followers to your closet. I think.... 🤔🤔🤔 I did gain more followers but it's time consuming and I'm not even sure if I'm playing it right. I want to have more followers than what I follow.

Hi! Not any specific times, but usually the full closet share happens morning around coffee time and then late afternoon sometimes, and at night maybe before the party. It just depends what my schedule is like that day!

When I send out an OTL, I also share the item. Because if my liker doesn't buy it, someone else might.

WHAT? how does it take you only 20 min to share 400 items? its takes me a sold half an hour to an hour to get through 250.

Try sharing on the computer! Just click the little arrow share symbol and click share to followers. Especially fast if you have a mouse!
Can I ask your opinion?!? I have over 100 good quality ... lots of large sizes... men’s shirts! I thought about starting a second closet for men’s, but I don’t think I want two closets. Would you list men’s shirts on your posh closet or I was thinking of reaching a wider audience with lower shipping on eBay. Any thoughts?!? Tjx

Empty Hanger yes... so it's a posh ambassador who facilitates it and honestly it's hella confusing. You comment shine BRIGHT like diamond on a mock listing and then they share so many closets (gems of the day) and you have to go to each closet and share some pics and then add that person's followers to your closet. I think.... 🤔🤔🤔 I did gain more followers but it's time consuming and I'm not even sure if I'm playing it right. I want to have more followers than what I follow.

Are there specific times that you tend to share your closet?
Hi! Not any specific times, but usually the full closet share happens morning around coffee time and then late afternoon sometimes, and at night maybe before the party. It just depends what my schedule is like that day!
Through the app on your phone, hold your finger on the thumbnail & "share" will appear. Fastest way!
