- 1 MILLION Dollar McLaren Senna at the drag strip. How fast is it?
The Ultra exclusive and rare, one million dollar McLaren Senna is powered by a 4.0 Liter Twin Turbo V8 which makes 789 Horsepower and 590 lb/ft of torque. The key to the Senna is it's lightweight and amazing power to weight ratio. The Senna weighs a little over 2800 lbs which is less than a Toyota Camry, however, the Senna has nearly 800 horsepower. The Senna also has incredible aerodynamics and 7 speed dual clutch transmission which makes lightning fast gear changes.
So, even though it was not intended to be a drag car, how fast/quick is it at the drag strip? What the video and find out....

1/4 mile too short for this car, it needs more room to stretch it’s legs out.....1/2 mile or better and that bitch going to go back to 1985 (older generation knows the reference!!!!🏎

@@roadtesttv i would lol. Its always been my dream to go to Monte Carlo and park a Power Wagon with the hood hinges held on by bailing wire. If I had the chance I would throw the key to the valet with a screw driver and say "if you need to get into the trunk for the bottle of gas if it won't start, just pour some down the carb" lol. Besides, a backfire out of the carburetor is louder than a supercar 😆😆

Why would you take a video of a Senna when you are unable to provide a decent run of a hypercar?
I thought SENNA would trap at least 148mph and runs at least 10 flat if not dip into the 9s.
How is launching that 997 on the track? If you had to choose a 997 6speed or a 991 PDK, in your opinion which one would you buy?
@Turbo Mike It's hard to beat a PDK when it comes to 1/4 mile ET, however, we are big fans of the 997 Turbo manual cars. To us, 997.1 TT manual is one of the best all around cars that retain solid resale value, hold their own in the performance arena with a tune and exhaust and are fun to drive. On the other hand, the PDK launch control is incredibly easy to use, durable and consistent. Launching a manual 997TT takes a lot more skill. That said, if I was racing in the 1/4 mile and looking for the best ET, the PDK would be the way to go. However, if going from a 60 roll, I'd rather have a 997 TT stick if making the same power as the PDK car. Thanks for watching. More 997 TT content coming....
I thought this got in the 9's. What car gapped him at the end?
A 720 that ran low 10’s was in the other lane. Senna is a 9 second car with a good launch and traction.
@@roadtesttv I kind of don't blame him for not going for it. Oerlikon makes the transmissions for these,they have all sorts of issues if you really let them have it and there is no replacements in the field, they have to make you one. Lol
