Oh my y’all are so blessed for sure! Beautiful walk. I was amazed at the perfect little snowflake in Katie’s hair; God is awesome isn’t he! Katie sounds like me on the food, had hamburgers last night✌🏻. So many great memories you all have just along the creek side! God Bless and stay warm😇🙏🏻.
Hello Robbie Lynn! We didn't have burgers last night, but we did have a mess of chicken wings along with chili. We invited friends to share fellowship, too. There's nothing like good ol' comfort food on a cold winter day in NH! Have a blessed day!
Walk in a snowy forest beside a babbling pure spring fed creek, mountain laurel bending its branches, it’s dark green leaves heavy with pure white snow, reaching out, inviting all who would venture into her haven seeking comfort and marveling at her beauty. Corie and Katie, the mountain speaks to you with its soul.
Thanks for taking us along letting us enjoy the scenery while we get to sit by the Woodstove. Lol love the song and also the bloopers. Hope you all have a blessed day 😊 🙏
Yes...I can clearly see the snowflake shaped like a star in Katie's hair! Never saw that before. Katie, remember that your body heat goes out through the top of your head. Best to stay warm...red, runny noses aren't pretty. :) I love Katie's arm warmers....beautiful! Happy to see papa has his gun with him. You never know what you might run into. I like burgers..especially Bison burgers. Just had my first Bison burger at age 74. Lovely video guys.
You have a great eye for spotting the beauty in nature Corie and how cute was that tiny perfect 6 point Star of David in Katie’s hair! You have eagle eyes 🕊.
The snow is beautiful! If Katie had put on her cap you would have never caught that awesome snowflake in her hair. :) The creek is so very, very pretty with the snow all around. I'm a "snackie" person. I could probably live on snacks instead of real meals. God Bless your family!
Thank you for showing the star snowflake in your sisters hair. How awesome. It is the only time I have seen that star in snowflake form since my 42 year old son was about 2 years old. I needed a word from God and we were at my mama's in Virginia. I was walking to my sister's house to get something for my mama. I had on a very dark sweat shirt when I noticed these star of David snowflakes on my shirt. Got so excited I called my mama, husband and little son to show them. There were lots. I showed my sister and she tried to catch some on cookie sheet to freeze. Pan was not cold enough to catch. God just blessed me through you by reminding me that on that day He let me know how much He loved me and all is ok. God bless you. I miss the snow. I live in daytona now
Layers are the way to go. My daughter gave us each one of those hand warmers! Yay! Katie is hilarious...AND beautiful! Wow! What a catch with that snowflake! Amazing! Thanks so much for bringing us along ! Love you (all 3)❤️🙏🏻Jane in SC ❄️☃️
Thanks for taking us along on your hike so we can enjoy the snow, too…wow for capturing the perfect star shaped snowflake in Katie’s hair, that was cool! Love seeing y’all play around & being silly, laughing…just enjoying each being all together……good memories that you can share with your children someday….bloopers were great, thanks for including them..🤗
I love the plants/moss right by the spring and the snow on the sides of the trees...the wind was blowing pretty good while it was falling. Yay! The whole family came along! Love to all!❤️Thank so so much for this gift!
Always fun to go hiking in the snow, even for a Georgia boy! I love hiking, walking and running when it's snowing or just snowed. So fun to y'all enjoyinh the snow. Katie is hilarious! "If I put my hat on you won't be able to see my beautiful hair." I'm like Katie, though, I don't like wearing big coats, but just prefer layering up. I do like to wear some Thinsulate mittens, though, the keep my hands warm.
That snowflake was amazing. Every time we got some snow I always took to the woods. It's so peaceful and quiet just listening to nature. Never went without my rifle either. Nice tune at the end, thanks. Remember that a family that hikes together, stays together ❤
Nice hike! This was fun 😄 Katie, you are NOT stupid! You're fun and brave and a bit precocious but not stupid (glare..don't do that woman). I love the perfect snowflake in Katie's hair. I watched for more of them and they were all over. In Corie's hair too. How sweet! Thanks for taking us along 😃
I’m 67 and I’ve never seen a star snowflake like that! And I’ve seen plenty of snow. I was given a rechargeable hand warmer 3 years ago and I love mine too.
Katie is such a star. Even the snow knows it! With a little duct tape Austin's gloves should be good for another 5 years. There's a place along Lake Michigan near Ludington MI that's very similar to this area. We called it Peter Pan land.

Hello, in my opinion I think you live in the prettiest part of our country, you are truly blessed and it warms my heart to hear you all appreciate where you are in the Beautiful mountains!
That's a good amount of snow for where you are. I'm a Michigander born and raised, so I wasn't going to watch this whole thing, but got interested in your stories. It's so neat that you find arrowheads in the water! You talk about how the stream changes and I know exactly what you mean. We have a lot of streams and creeks, rivers, ponds, and let's not forget the Great Lake I live on, Lake Huron. All of it changes all the time. Even with the break walls they put in, there are always changes. So it's real interesting to hear the story of yours. I love water. The arrowheads tell a story of deep history in your area. If you could get to an archaeology department at a university they might be able to tell you some of that story. My guess is the stream cut through where there wasn't a stream before, and it's unearthing the history. Water can bury history, too. Some years ago during a survey for ship traffic on the biggest river here, the river that flows out of Lake Huron, they found an Indian fishing spot deep under the water, with the weirs still there. The river has been almost a mile wide since at least the 1600s when French explorers sailed through. Long before that it was just a small shallow river, and going back further in time it was a creek. As long as it was deep enough for fish, it was a source of food for the native people. They put in fishing weirs to trap fish, using nets with big round stones as weight. Scuba divers used to bring them up from the river bottom, but now it's protected so everything has to stay unless there's a permit. But the stones are on display at the Maritime Center, along with a reproduction fishing net. It's pretty cool. If you want to look up the river, it's the St. Clair. Imagine a little stream like yours growing into a river big enough to sail a thousand foot ship on! It's really something.
It's as cold as a well diggers butt here in the Bootheel of Missouri today. Temperature is 8....windchill is -10 with wind gusts up to 25 mph. We had ice and sleet and a lil snow yesterday. I was so stupid and followed these other girls (I'm such a follower) around there and got stung! I certainly learned a painful lesson in not obeying! Ha! Thank you for sharing the beautiful snow, I live in the Florida Panhandle and we never have snow. My sisters and I have taken many road trips to North Carolina and Tennessee as well as my husband and I. I have so many sweet memories there. The snowflake was amazing Thank you for sharing your lives .
I saw the perfect little star snowflake ❄ in Katie's hair. It was so amazing to see that. Y'all got snow, don't let the Midwesterners get you down. 😁😁😃 I live here in eastern North Carolina...the Midwesterers can pick on me instead...I got the powdered sugar. Not even enough to call it a skiff of snow here.
Here in PA we only got 8". We were in single digits last night, gonna be below zero the next few nights and single digits days. I definately do not enjoy snow or the cold temp! It is interesting to see how southerners react to snow and freezing temps. In Knoxville, TN, one year, we had 17" snow and 3" ice. No plows trucks. We had a 4wheel drive truck, so we were going into town getting kerosene for the old folks that lived on our road. (We did not have power for a week.)
Well in Ohio Monday we had twelve inches of snow and it's supposed to six degrees Friday morning and-1degree Saturday morning don't care about snow but when it gets that cold I try to stay in stay safe and warm take care of yourself.
We call that in Maine a light dusting we measure snow here in feet 😂 I love all four seasons here summers can be very hot winters can get very cold LIKE O and -o with wind chills making it 5-15 below 😬 God bless you ladies and your family I know our father is very pleased with your way of life 🙏I grew up hunting and fishing with my father and mother my mother hunted for a long time till she shot her first deer then she stop she felt to bad after that so she stopped hunting. But still loves to fish.
Thank you.brought back fond memories when I was a young boy here in Indiana trekking through the woods after a snow at night under a full moon..magical.
On your walk I heard you mention stickbait. I wondered if you had ever heard of fiddle worms ...we used to cut a sapling about 3 ft from the ground take a hand saw and saw in the center of that stump and these big white worms come out of the ground and we use them for bait on our trot line. They were good for catching catfish the stick bait we use for catching trout. I do so enjoy watching you girls and your mom and dad and your fiance. You truly have a blessed life❤❤❤❤❤
Yup, we got snow too., about three inches. No wind, no ice, and we kept the power. We're up a steep hill so my husband just shoveled one tire track and salted it so we can get up and down. I saw your hill to your house. Our hill is shorter, but steeper. The snow sure is pretty though.
Glad ya'll are enjoying the snow. I moved from Maine to Arkansas 16 years ago and miss the snow but not all the work that went with it. We are freezing in Arkansas right now. 25 degrees and going to be single numbers tonight
Very pretty. But it's 19 here in good ole Duncan Oklahoma. Think I will be inside today. Loved the star snow flake in her hair.No snow here just bone chilling cold. Y'all stay warm.
Nothing more pure then a fresh fallen snow and a babbling brook. Thank you ladies for sharing your life. 🤣🤣 Katie

Y'all got snow, don't let the Midwesterners get you down. 😁😁😃 I live here in eastern North Carolina...the Midwesterers can pick on me instead...I got the powdered sugar. Not even enough to call it a skiff of snow here.
Love this whole family!! Wonderful memories being made.
Perfect star on Star
I like snow You two are so much fun and enjoy you sharing your life and God Bless you all.
Thank you!
Yes I saw the star never ever saw one like that before
See the Star !!
Thanks for sharing and watching ☺️
It's so weird to see leaves on the trees and running water in the middle of winter, but that is an enchanted forest.
Morning Miss Corie, Miss Katie, Austin and family.
Hat on head = warm feet.
Pretty country! Especially in the snow! You know, that's what the gumbo recipe was for...right?!! Lol! Stay safe!
Katie, name of your next composition, "Swinging branch" thanx for sharing.
Nice snow flake. ❤️
Snow exploring is one of my favorite past times. I was born in an igloo on an iceberg in a blizzard. Don't eat yellow snow Katie.
Love it looks soo beautiful.
There is something peaceful about hearing the creeks. Love my snacks also!
Thank you.brought back fond memories when I was a young boy here in Indiana trekking through the woods after a snow at night under a full moon..magical.
I no what u mean we dnt get much either but we do get some ever now and then and it is absolutely beautiful
You truly have a blessed life❤❤❤❤❤
I hadn’t heard of that before, thanks for sharing and watching!
I'm first and I love the snow. God Bless
❄️🙏☺️
First time I ever heard in conversation "If you don't care", immediately remembering back to your Mom's Appalachian grammar lessons.
I use that phrase all the time 🤣
What a wonderful walk with your family!! That creek is amazing!! I definitely saw the star snowflake❄️ Enjoyed seeing the beautiful nature and snow
Yup, we got snow too., about three inches. No wind, no ice, and we kept the power. We're up a steep hill so my husband just shoveled one tire track and salted it so we can get up and down. I saw your hill to your house. Our hill is shorter, but steeper. The snow sure is pretty though.
A beautiful snow and creek .....I grew up playing in a branch ...it was so much fun !!
Thank you for sharing your hike .... ❄⛄❄
Beautiful, isn't it? I used to enjoy being out in the snow when I was young...and I did notice that cute little snowflake in her hair...enjoy!
What relaxing video watch! It’s going to be -30° with a windchill factor of -35° to -40°by this evening. Yes negative! 😊🇨🇦
Yes I saw that perfect snowflake! LOL ❄
