I don’t know how this channel showed up on my recommended because she is so very, very different from me. I’m of a different race, different culture, prob almost twice her age, complete difference in home decorating, different taste in music … just so many things. But yet I am hooked and have binge watched a lot of their videos as well as a few of their moms. They are so sweet and pure and I’ve found I just really enjoy watching!
Just a teaching moment for you with the grill. I have found over the years that if when I’m finished with my grilling; if I turn the gas off at the tank, then I will never go outside to do some grilling and find that my gas has leaked out of the tank. So proud for you both. Have fun grilling. God bless
Just watching the two of you working together is a blessing. With Jesus as the center of your lives and marriage I believe there are many blessings for your family. The wall on the left going down to your basement would be a perfect spot to hang pictures of both families from birth till ever. Have a friend who did that and it is beautiful. As children come someday each birthday pictures would be awesome. Starting with pictures of ya'll first. God bless and keep you.
😊Just a freindly heads up in case its not rated for outdoor use 😊 Cold Weather Concerns - A freezer is designed to withstand specific temperature tolerances, and the refrigerant used will have an optimal temperature range. Because the compressor is on the exterior of the unit, exceptionally cold temperatures may cause a build-up of ice or reduce the viscosity of the oils used to lubricate moving parts. Any of these may result in compressor failure or malfunction resulting in a costly repair.
I love the brown casserole dish! Brings back memories. Your house is adorable. I just had my 28th anniversary and it feels like yesterday I set up my first house. You are living in a special time in your life. I pray you have a blessed long and happy marriage!
Thanks for pointing that out. I grew up in South Texas and although I love language and love regional language (her mom covers a lot of cool language stuff), sometimes I've just heard stuff so much I don't realize it's not what everyone says.
It’s so sweet seeing y’all setting up house. I think everyone who has been married for a long time can remember their first house and getting it ready to live in. Bless you and Austin with many happy years in this home.
House is looking great! The town house I use to live in years back had a tall stairwell like y’all’s. I displayed my family pictures on one side and also my daughter’s pictures she painted in school. Nothing better than having a man that knows how to grill, you are blessed Corie, but then so is Austin. Sweet couple, perfect for each other!
Corie and Austin, you have decorated your new home beautifully! You have lots of new things and also some things that have been in your families...all of of them will come in very handy! I wish you two a beautiful life together! I really love your new home. I’m sure it’s amazing to be on your on your deck looking down into the beautiful woods. Wishing you two a happy married life with everything that makes you both happy!
Looks like a nice peaceful home. I remember my first house. I was there about 12 years before moving on to a larger place because my kids were growing and needed more space. But I did love that house and I have great memories of it. Even now every so often, I will drive by to see it when I'm in the area. It always brings a flood of great memories of my kids when they were little and a beautiful black Labrador we had back then. Looks like you've already started making memories of your own
Just a tip…. Never put your older Pyrex in dishwasher ☺️. I made that mistake. Lovin how the house is coming together. You both are doing a great job 👏
Corie, your house is turning into a beautiful home!!! And I love how you and Austin compliment each other and ask each other's opinion too. Communication is so important, and I think you and Austin are doing a great job at that. :) Everything looked delicious! I was thanking God multiple times during this video for His goodness towards ya'll! May He continue to bless and keep you!
I remember our first apartment and arranging everything. So exciting. Your grill is awesome you all. For best results rub a paper towel dipped in vegetable oil over the hot grates before putting the food on. It helps prevent sticking. You all have a blessed future. 🌹
Takes time to get everything in its best place. I'm still sorting and switching stuff around a year later. Like that large old world Santa. I'm crazy for kitchen gadgets, and love tools; the right ones make your life so much easier. That white coverlet is very pretty, just like my gran had. That freezer is the same size my grandparents bought us when we got our first house. Botanical prints are some of my favs.
I had the most adorable frog sponge holder that a good friend and co-worker handmade and painted for me many years ago. It sat on the corner of my kitchen sink for 25 years until I accidentally knocked it off while cleaning one day. I literally cried when I saw my little friend in a million pieces!! Haven't been able to find a suitable replacement, but I'm still looking! Love your little built-in bookshelf next to the beautiful fireplace - such a sweet little reading nook. Your home is coming together so nicely. I enjoy seeing you both so excited and happy!! Love and Blessings to you both...
For my Christmas tree I use that moving wrap. It takes two people to wrap it but it keeps it sealed and dust free. Also, you can get a box from uhaul which is what I MEAN to do every year, but with the wrap you can do it up tight. But with a box you can stack on & around it.
We hired a lady who came and decorated our tree one year and it really turned out gorgeous. So after Christmas we wrapped it and scooted it into the next room (which we don’t use) and we just roll it out each year and it’s still decorated perfectly! No hassle!
That is one nice grill that Austin has & it looks like this is not your first rodeo at the grill. I really like that area where you can put your skillet to fry up your veggies!
Austin missed the lesson at UGA on picture hanging. The vertical center (the middle of the frame) is 57" (inches) above the floor, or at your eye-level if it's in a hallway or entryway where you're usually walking past it. That goes for single pieces (photos, paintings, posters) as well as arrangements like gallery walls.
Love covered decks. I'm buying new grill soon too. I just got same freezer at Walmart October 199.00. Your house is very nice. Beautiful views. Beautiful couple nice gifts from family who clearly are happy you all are together.
House is looking more like a home, I guess the little daybed is for Katie when she comes to sleep over😀! We love to grill also. We just bought a Blackstone flat top griddle this past year and we really enjoy cooking smash burgers and grilled veggies on it along with different types of stir fry. Y'all need to put one of those on your wish list if you enjoy cooking outside🍳
Congrats on the house ! It's beginning to take shape and every placement of your cherished items reflects the coming together of your two personalities into one shared look. That will be very special in the eyes of GOD. I would like to give a suggestion to Austin : when lighting the grill, you only turn on one burner unit and light it. When it is stable (usually within a few seconds), just turn on the gas to the unit next to it. It will light by the flame from the first one. Then do each of the others likewise for as many as you need for the amount of food you're preparing. We all have learned this the hard way. LOL. We pray GOD'S blessings on you and your home ! Randy B.
It's all coming together! Looking mighty fine. I love Kerry Gold. It's smooth tasting 😃. So many pretty and useful items for your new home together. I have church cookbooks from 40 years ago and some more recent. Church cookbooks are the best 🤤
I have gotten some cool marbles from spray paint cans. When you finish with a can of spray paint let all of the air out and cut open the can and pour the marble out into a little cup of paint thinner to clean it off.
I was gonna say something to the effect of what the person below said about the freezer on the porch. It’s not good for them and it increases your energy bill in the summer because it has to run a lot more. Love those kind of sifters but I always had trouble with flour and stuff getting stuck between the mesh pieces and it’d just kinda came up in there and be a mess so I ended up giving mine away because I could never clean it well. I went back to my old school like flat top one you shake.
I have the same exact frog except mine has orange, yellow, gold, brown and black dots. Got some old marbles too -- glad I've not lost my marbles! :D Be Blessed Y'all
My son painted a ceramic green frog like yours, when he was very young. then we had it fired with his name he put on bottom, for his granny, my mama. She loved it.
Your house is coming along nicely!! I have a fairly narrow stairwell. It goes all the way to the rafters on the opposite of the second story like yours does. I use my staircase walls for photos. I have photos of my three siblings and me as babies in a group. I have a grouping of all of our wedding pictures. I have a black and white grouping of mom and dad from before they got married. It isn’t a storage solution but they are all photos that I love and it brings me a great amount of joy to see them daily. Plus they don’t take up a lot of room in a narrow stairwell. Thanks for taking us along. God bless you 🙏🏼
Leave it to y'all to have one of those ceramic frog sponge holders! I love it! Those were in everybody's house, when I was growing up (circa your mom's time). I know I made at least a couple of those as a teen. Everything's looking so good and JMO but oftentimes paying for some super-expensive grill is just not worth it (that's according to my husband who's had some frustration in that regard). This may seem so dumb, but for some reason when I was your age I saw a certain brand of grill as a status symbol (didn't realize that's what I was doing, just getting swept along w/marketing in fact). Now we're much older and can get that brand, but we have learned sometimes that marketing is just that. THANK YOU for another fun video. Blessings to you and all your family, both sides. 💓🙏🏼
Nice mounts! Austin's done good harvesting some nice size bucks. My wife doesn't like them in the house cuz it's too crowded, so I hang them in the garage. I'm not the decorator but I do all the grilling. Those backstraps look excellent. Got me tempted to grill my last one in the freezer.
Love yall! Thanks for letting us tag along! You have a beautiful place and you always put a smile on my face! Love and light to u both from Texas! Stay warm!!
Isn't it just the greatest blessing to be with the love of your life and combining all your loves into one space!! Continued blessings from our God most high!
Yes! I bought a cook book at a Goodwill that was made by a Monrovia Church from PA. . I'm all the way down south. I make so many of those recipes even Iafter a ton of years.
Morning Corie and Austin. Today I've enjoyed seeing you work together in setting up your home. Now I'd like to teach you some Australian English. English is our main language but we have allowed so many immigrants to settle after The Second World War ( WW2 ) that many people speak their own plus English. Firstly what you call a " grill " , we call a " bar - be - que " .The whole unit with a 9 litre bottle of Propane gas and the side burner is a " bar - be - que. ". We do grill some meat by placing it under an electric element. We run most of our cars on " Petrol " but we also have cars that run on " gas " and " electricy ". We call that a " hibred " . When it comes to cars, what you call the " hood " we call the " bonnet " and the " trunk " is called the " boot ". We have a " windscreen " and you have a " windshield." And we drive a " car " not a " sedan " and a " ute " which is short for " utility truck " , not a " pickup ". Because we have had many of your films, records and T.V. shows here for years we understand many of your words and know a lot of your History. Brisbane ( pronounced Brisbin .) Which is the capital city of the State of Queensland, is hosting the Summer Olympics In ten years time in 2032. That's on the East Coast if you are looking at a map. We are on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.
Y'all really make me wish I was still young & first starting out! But at 63 & 46 yrs married, I think we won't be doing that, unless it's to a nursing home! 😆 I love y'alls deck...I could sit there all day & watch the deer & other critters! I sit on our back deck & watch cattle in the field! Lol! Then at night you can hear the coyotes howling which is unnerving! So nice to see y'all putting up pictures & Austin's prized captures! Family certainly got y'all some really nice things for Christmas that y'all will definitely need! May God continue to bless you both in this new journey of life! Hugs from very cold VA!
It's nice to see someone else is still trying to repack Christmas .My husband just took our bare tree down today but we've been working for weeks trying to wrap all the ornaments up. We have so much cause we've been married for over 20 yrs. I always keep my ornaments in those plastic containers and bubblewrap the delicate ones.I don't think I'll put them all out next year but this year I wanted to go all out. It's just to much work. Our snow storm just set us back but now finally it'll all go up hopefully before Valentines Day.
Corie from experience in my past, put Austin in charge of Always cleaning his deer head & etc.mounts ,They will become very dusty with time.. Your home is looking 👌 Great.Love those Church cookbooks. YOUR PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL!! Your SO Blessed to have a Freezer with Fresh Meat. LOVE THE GRILL !!.
Ohmygoodness I have that same mug..the drippy blue and brown one. It is my favorite mug because the shape is so nice and it keeps my tea the perfect temperature longer than a straight sided one!
Put everything in the basement on pallets, or 2xs, or you’ll regret it when the water heater goes, or you have plumbing backup, or flood of any kind. Also, make sure you leave plenty of distance between water heater or other heat sources from any flammable items.
Your home is Lovely. Your marbles would be so pretty in one of those glass containers they sell at Walmart with the glass lid. They come in 3 different sizes and they look like vintage candy jars from a General store. They are are in the canister isle. You supper looked so good. I just loved all your kitchen items you received and I too love church cook books.
I have a black smith copper and wrought iron towel holders in kitchen . I have a chicken scrubby holder hubby bought at Cracker Barrel! Cori , Austin knowing how to grill is awesome . Dinner looks great Yum Photos & paintings should be hung at eye level .. also my hubby put storage above where the garage door comes up in the ceiling which is perfect and also too we had a house in New York that had a empty space like yours ,wanting to put storage he had put a bunch of shelves but I’m telling you they were terrible hard to get to stuff . Those stairs made it dangerous ..The above garage door is perfect for Christmas stuff . Cant believe I went more than half my life not utilizing that’s empty space from where a garage door rolls in to ceiling .
Stairwells if possible try to leave space because of fires and safety that is what i was told we had one similar to that also that is a great space for pictures of family we used it for my daughter's pictures and it was beautiful also love all the video's you guys are the best and good luck on your marriage been married 33 years.
We used the same artificial tree for over 35 years and kept it in garbage bags under the stairs for years so I had to smile when I saw where your tree was stored🥰. Time sure flies😊
I really enjoyed your home update, I remember my first home, and the excitement that went along with the decorating process for both of us. I had my grandmother gifted me with items out of her kitchen. It's all about making memories from this point on. I'll be waiting for your wedding 💑. Congratulations 🎊
The house is so nice. I love the floors and the beams on the ceiling too. That grill is primo, and I really like that grater too. Ya'll have so many beautiful things already 😍
The home is looking great! You 2 are doing a fantastic job of decorating! We store our Christmas tree and ornaments under the stairs also .....I saw the deer in the woods , that was awesome! Great gas grill! Will be great to sit on your back deck during and enjoy nature around you ....the food looked so delicious! Thanks ....God bless y'all....🙏❤
I was listening podcast style again… but I went back to see some of the “stuff” haha! Austin has killed some good deer! And I’m definitely with y’all on the King of the Hill show… I also grew up watching the mess out of that and it’s one I can still sort of look at when I do manage to watch a little tv! And Corie if you look up stuff online about how to use left over skylight cavities you might come across some useful information and ideas on what to do with that stairwell space for storage. I’ve got three old spots where skylights were in my house that I’m needing to do something with and I’ve seen some ideas on google… might give you some ideas too. But deer mounts was what I thought of as soon as you mentioned it… yall could really make that stairwell look awesome I think! Know y’all are having fun with the new house and God has really blessed y’all! Stay safe out there!
I don’t know how this channel showed up on my recommended because she is so very, very different from me. I’m of a different race, different culture, prob almost twice her age, complete difference in home decorating, different taste in music … just so many things. Thank you! 🙏☺️

Great info 👍🏼
I had a freezer just like that one and it sat outside my cabin in Fairbanks, Alaska with temperatures as low as 65 below zero 🥶
When you were flipping through the recipe book, I got a glimpse of a recipe for "Ding Dong" cake. That has got to be worth a try.
I love the brown casserole dish! Brings back memories. Your house is adorable. I just had my 28th anniversary and it feels like yesterday I set up my first house. You are living in a special time in your life. I pray you have a blessed long and happy marriage!
Thank you!
Stair hallways are perfect for family pictures. Your house is starting to look like a home. :)
Such a southern thing to say you're "putting up" the tree whether you are putting it up or taking it down! Your house is so adorable!
Thanks for pointing that out. I grew up in South Texas and although I love language and love regional language (her mom covers a lot of cool language stuff), sometimes I've just heard stuff so much I don't realize it's not what everyone says.
I love your house Corie it is so adorable and i love Austin's deer head's to.God bless you two.
🙏
It’s so sweet seeing y’all setting up house. I think everyone who has been married for a long time can remember their first house and getting it ready to live in. Bless you and Austin with many happy years in this home.
I love how Austin is toward Corie -- "You can do no wrong, in my opinion." 🤩
House is looking great! The town house I use to live in years back had a tall stairwell like y’all’s. I displayed my family pictures on one side and also my daughter’s pictures she painted in school. Communication is so important, and I think you and Austin are doing a great job at that. :) Everything looked delicious! I was thanking God multiple times during this video for His goodness towards ya'll! May He continue to bless and keep you!
❤️🙏☺️
Just remember! You guys are making memories!!!!!
The house is lookin' good!
Corey and Austin like King of the Hill! Thats only the best show.
And propane is an amazing gas. Sooo versatile!
🤣🙏
I remember our first apartment and arranging everything. So exciting. Your grill is awesome you all. For best results rub a paper towel dipped in vegetable oil over the hot grates before putting the food on. It helps prevent sticking. You all have a blessed future. 🌹
Yall are so sweet. Your house will be amazing not because of the decorations but because of the love and kindness.
Thank you! ☺️
The book shelf arrangements show a remarkable feel for composition. The effect is one of artistic order. Very well done. Hats off to you.
Everything is looking awesome, y’all got some really neat gifts for your home…🤗
Thank you for sharing your new home. Always work together and talk to each other. Your smack in the middle of a forest of beauty. Take care.🤗🌞
🙏☺️
The house looks beautiful! Love seeing it all coming together and the paint colors are nice and soothing. I would enjoy the decks and the wildlife.
You made my mouth water talking about the backstraps! They look delicious!
You have it looking good!... Love this type of video. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

King of the hill. The house looks great. The food looks delicious 😋 thank you for sharing.
🙏☺️
Yes! I do have a froggie scrubber holder.
That is one nice grill that Austin has & it looks like this is not your first rodeo at the grill. I really like that area where you can put your skillet to fry up your veggies!
Your home is lovely, I've enjoyed the walkabout. I love all the deer heads, just like home!
🙏☺️🦌
I have the same tree. I have a big Christmas tree bag that I store mine in. It's lasted for years.

So glad you all got a grill. I love Austin's Hank Hill impersonation!

Good idea!
Austin seems like a nice guy. And your grill dinner looked delicious.

That’s cool, thank you for sharing!
That would be a great spot for family pictures.
Everything is looking good ☺️
Your house is looking wonderful ! God bless
I bought a zip up xmas tree storage bag at bed bath and beyond.
The shelves look great! Definitely a jar for the marbles- they work great for bookends too!
King of the Hill we did to me and my daughter love it we have the dvd's
What a lovely half hour, thank you!!! God Bless. Jean
Ohmygoodness I have that same mug..the drippy blue and brown one. It is my favorite mug because the shape is so nice and it keeps my tea the perfect temperature longer than a straight sided one!
That’s awesome!
I have a frog scrubby holder at my sink lol My Daddy made it for my Mother and I got it when she passed
I dont have a frog scrubby holder but I do have a rooster scrubby holder. My kitchen is decorated in chickens so my scrubby holder is a rooster.
Austin does a great Stalekracker imitation! I love watching that dude! While we wait, we hydrate! Your house is looking like a home!!
Put everything in the basement on pallets, or 2xs, or you’ll regret it when the water heater goes, or you have plumbing backup, or flood of any kind. Also, make sure you leave plenty of distance between water heater or other heat sources from any flammable items.
Everything looks so nice😁 Love your home and you guys💕
Your home is Lovely. Your marbles would be so pretty in one of those glass containers they sell at Walmart with the glass lid. They come in 3 different sizes and they look like vintage candy jars from a General store. They are are in the canister isle. You supper looked so good. I just loved all your kitchen items you received and I too love church cook books.
Those would be perfect containers, thanks for the idea and for watching! 💕☺️
I have a black smith copper and wrought iron towel holders in kitchen . I have a chicken scrubby holder hubby bought at Cracker Barrel!
Cori , Austin knowing how to grill is awesome . Dinner looks great Yum
Photos & paintings should be hung at eye level .. also my hubby put storage above where the garage door comes up in the ceiling which is perfect and also too we had a house in New York that had a empty space like yours ,wanting to put storage he had put a bunch of shelves but I’m telling you they were terrible hard to get to stuff .
🙏☺️🎄
I really enjoyed your home update, I remember my first home, and the excitement that went along with the decorating process for both of us. I had my grandmother gifted me with items out of her kitchen. It's all about making memories from this point on. I'll be waiting for your wedding 💑. Congratulations 🎊
Thank you! 🙏☺️
The house is so nice. I love the floors and the beams on the ceiling too. That grill is primo, and I really like that grater too. Ya'll have so many beautiful things already 😍

🙏☺️
Nice home &grill. 🥳💕
We have a frog scrubby holder.
