My best advice is don't wait until it is totally finished before you get on the road and experience the freedom. get out there and Keep it simple. The best way to determine what you need in your van build is to take it on the road first and keep a diary of what you would really want to have with you in the van in those moments of seclusion and quiet. love the content, keep it up.

I've been watching a lot of foraging, fishing, etc. UA-camrs but none of them incorporate travel and van life into their foraging and cooking. You guys being on wheels will allow you to get to more places and carve out a new niche. I wasn't a subscriber before but I am now! Good luck and I can't wait to see where this goes.
I spent ten years on the road in my van. From the southern tip of Baja California to the middle of nowhere Canada. My van is a Ford class B-RV. It's got all the bells and whistles. We are both Japanese. Your Taku, and I am Tak. We both live in the same geographic area. My advice to you: Take that Sprinter van, and over anything else, install a bathroom. It doesn't haveto be a big one. Just one small RV toilet, and one smallish grey water tank with some privacy. The lady in your life will endlessly thank you for this... Its based on pure experience.
I second this! I almost didn't put a bathroom in when I was building out my Promaster conversion a few years ago, but after living in it with a toilet and shower, I literally cannot imagine not having at least the toilet. Especially while traveling during Covid. Secluded Hwy 1 pull-offs, remote roads in National Forests -- all places I'd never be able to convince my girlfriend to camp in if it weren't for the toilet!

Small word of advice, get a good alarm and make sure your insurance covers everything you put in the van. GPS tracker as well. Cant wait to see you get down to Florida and collaborate with those youtubers.

Great idea, Taku! I just spent awhile watching another popular UA-cam couple, "Kara and Nate", park their sailboat and buy a Sprinter van. They've shown many videos on all the interior building of a bed, cabinets, cooking stuff, etc. Because of the worldwide Covid travel restrictions that makes visiting foreign seaports difficult, they, like you, will carry on with their exploits - but in a van.
You and her is living life!!! I dream of doing thing like this and just travel!! Good luck with everything and I’ll be here to support y’all.. I can’t wait to see the adventures
Hey I m a Long Haul driver and the best choice first and foremost is you can can Stand Up Strait. It's a key factor in being able too travel long distances with comfort . If your fighting to be Comfortable fatigue sets in and down goes overall moral. Learn too do your own maintenance On your vehicle and be diligent about it. I'm really glad too see you two were able too make it happen.

Taku, you are an inspiration! Talk about good timing, leaving the restaurant and going to YT fulltime. The same thing happened with me ... I was starting to seriously consider leaving my present employment and playing trumpet fulltime, on the street for tips which is called "busking" well, it got cold, I got sick with some weird coughing thing, then the virus came. So I'm glad I stayed with my job because we're actually doing better than we were before the virus.

Propane is SO USEFUL, for the stove, water heater, heater and REFRIGERATOR. Also you can have an exterior attachment to install an exterior stove/grill. Keep it up! Really enjoy your work. Propane is SO USEFUL, for the stove, water heater, heater and REFRIGERATOR. Also you can have an exterior attachment to install an exterior stove/grill. Keep it up! Really enjoy your work. There are options, theres BSA farmers that offer anywhere to cuts of beef to quarter or halves of cattle.
