Its very nice that your also "hunting" mushroom`s. I started reading books on identifying mushrooms and plants in December. Picking and identifying them is pure fun. Besides, you can relax outside.

Crown-tipped coral mushrooms cooked in hot chicken broth are fantastic. Be careful with how you forage them though, they can look pretty similar to some not-so-fun fungi.

I haven’t watched my octopus teacher yet but my fam has and they have chosen to stop eating it because once you have knowledge you have responsibilities to remain and act elevated. Use scissors at the base when harvesting/cutting mushrooms as to not mess up the mycelial network so more mushrooms can grow. Pulling them out the ground destroys the mycelium network for the fungi

It's interesting how a "Takoyaki" pan (from Japan) is basically a less deeper version of a "Poffertjes" pan (from the Netherlands), and without the filling.

Very nice videos, Taku, just please, when you collect mushrooms, cut the root off and leave in the soil. Best is cut off the mushroom, rather than pulling it out :) Thanks man!

Puffball was perhaps Lycoperdon pyriforme.
The first Porcini was not only old but infected with another fungus - Hypomyces chrysospermus.
Corals can be really hard to ID, only some are edible and none very good (IMO).
Next was Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca, False Chanterelle.

I used to play a game on the DS as a kid where you made Takoyaki (hopefully that’s right?) and I remember always wandering what it was and wanting to try it so bad in real life it looks so satisfying to make! And now I just learned what it really is 🤣💖 so Yayy I’m so greatful for your channel.
