Great video! I was originally disappointed that they didn't do more like slim down or change the bracelet on the 300M. But like you said, I then realized that the seamaster line is huge and not just the 300M. Of course they can't change everything radically and I think they did a great job making small but integrated changes to all models that really feel well put together.
Overall, happy with it. Will I buy one to replace my current 300m? Probably not. The price is getting a little ridiculous, and I’m not sure if I love the case back or miss the view of that awesome movement 😕 On the plus side: Colors look superb. Love the gradient as depth rating increases. Oh, and that dial lume on the Planet Ocean is 10/10 brilliant.

Well, let me use this opportunity to put words in everyone else’s mouth and say what we really wanted Omega to do. Launch a new 300m SMP. Ok, I know some folks like it as is, but I was just sizzling for this release and came away underwhelmed. All the Seamasters together does look cool though.
I’m definitely getting a 75th anniversary. However, I need to wear them before deciding between the SMP300 and the Planet Ocean. I find it curious that they came out with the 39.5mm PO only and not the 43.5mm, why do you think that is?
i was disappointed with the 300M, but when placed in context with the others and their dials, i get it. mind blown. very cool. a few people out there have the means to collect the whole set!
The Omega straps are amazing. But in no way are they worth £170. I’d honestly say they are about 10-20% better than my straps. Which should put the price at £30. Or maybe I’m charging too little.
Great video, Adrian. I like what Omega has done for the 75th. The darkening of the dial with increased water resistence is very cool. I don't mind the solid case back either. Have to agree on your NATO straps. I bought a 22mm Omega Bond strap for my Planet Ocean, £170 these days. I paid £25 for my B&J NTTD NATO. The Omega strap is thicker but that's not a good thing, leaves too much thickness under the strap. You've got the balance spot on.

Can't agree entirely with your take on this, which is fine! no one dies!! but if Omega have a great collection of watches and a celebration version was "wildly" different then maybe there is something wrong with the non celebration ones! I mean they are great so a celebration should be a tweak to recognise the 75 years without being just a celebration gong, they are, after all, still those watch versions, the same watch with a hint of 75 years celebration. I love the route they took, all the shades of blue from sky to the deepest depths, I'm also a fan of regular case backs unless the window actually shows the movement rather that the auto winding rotor which obscures a lot. So for me there was a significant nod to the 75 years celebration of existing models without hinting the existing models are less than. And the Ultra Deep dial is the best dive dial I have ever seen. Omega has done an awesome job here.
Beautiful colors. But i want a thinner smaller 300m. With matte dial. So 5 mn after watching the launch video i went on Chrono 24 and bought the 2006 vintage quartz (=thinner) matte dialed seamaster 300m i had been stashing/reserving. Had omega delivered true difference they’d have gotten my $
I’m no Omega fan but for a dial update it’s pretty good. I think they missed a trick to go full lumed bezel as per the orange S300. It is celebrating the hyped and the ubiquitous to a degree but they are quality watches so maybe that’s ok
Beautiful Collection with a Cool Colour. I would like to See a Review about the new Ploprof 75th and about the Seamaster 300 M Cermaic Sedna Black 43,5 Maybe compared to the Yachtmaster.
I do love the gradient touch on all the dials.(*the hidden lum marks are 🤌🏻 fun.) The new blue gives it a wee bit of spice to become more intriguing than the original. I appreciate if I could see the back clearly as well. It’s nice movement to watch. However, I personally still think that by simply changing color and maybe the engraving on the back to celebrate this milestone is still quite gimmicky. It’s new but also not really. I expect OMEGA can do better than that. Last note, is it me or just that the lighting and lens and all that in this video looks so great and updated? Great job Adrian! 👍🏻
Have to agree that touching all watches in the Seamaster family with the blue dials to celebrate the 75th is pretty cool

Had omega delivered true difference they’d have gotten my $
Can these be bought now? As I can’t seem to find the new Planet ocean anywhere?
I’m no Omega fan but for a dial update it’s pretty good. I think they missed a trick to go full lumed bezel as per the orange S300. It is celebrating the hyped and the ubiquitous to a degree but they are quality watches so maybe that’s ok
Beautiful Collection with a Cool Colour. I would like to See a Review about the new Ploprof 75th and about the Seamaster 300 M Cermaic Sedna Black 43,5 Maybe compared to the Yachtmaster.
Waou 🤯 THIS is awesome! They nailed it!
I have a blue po but I am glad I have got mine as not keen on the new one case see all the good stuff going on within the watch
