I bought one today for my 50th birthday it’s my first expensive watch. I wanted a Rolex sub but couldn’t get one, on the plus side I can afford to go on a nice trip with the money I saved. I bought the blue one.
I have this watch and have found the bracelet to be extremely comfortable. The clasp actually balances the weight of the watch quite will. My Rolex bracelets, while tapered, are only comfortable because the watch itself is lighter. I may buy a silicone Omega strap for the summer but, the bracelet is so beautiful that I hate the idea of swapping it out for a strap.
Such a good, positive video. Also lovely shots of the Seamaster. Soooo much better than maybe a shorter or perhaps more "hot take" type video could be!

@@fendushi I wear it fairly snug and have had no issue with sharp edges. I think it’s very comfortable for all day wear. I think the fact that the bracelet doesn’t taper throws some people off. You are making me want this watch soooo much!! The shots on this video are a step up, you really outdid yourself, the light and composition, so well done... hat is off to you Adrian :)
Great video as always. Nice to see a Rolex owner being nice about an omega. The SMP is a belter. I’m seriously considering another one in a different colour. By the way, there’s a bit of an art to fitting the bracelet. Hard to explain in text but it needs to be fitted with the clasp 2 notches off small. My AD sized mine on small but in warm weather the clasp moved too far on the wrist. Took a while to get it just right but now it’s bang on for both warm and cold weather.
I own this exact watch, and have been wearing it everyday since I got it. I also hate the bracelet, so replaced it with a rubber strap. I also don't like how noisy the movement is-- the rotor is unbelievably loud. Other than these two gripes, this is an absolutely phenomenal watch.
I picked up the same the watch as well, love the bracelet on my 8inch wrist. I love the audible rotor as well but that may be the engineer in me. To each is own...cheers.
@@StayOnIt the clasp alone is so nicely engineered that I wanted to keep it on the metal bracelet. But 182 grams was getting a little too much for daily wear-- had to make it lighter.
Farig Sadeque agree....love the clasp adjutments, but hate the weight and and the non taper. Its awful. Bought a few rubber and canvas options snd its now perfect.
Are we expecting a design update on this watch anytime soon? With the updated speedmaster just around the corner, makes you wonder if they’ll update this again too? I want to buy one but I’d hate to go out only for them to release one a few months later with better design, like a hidden helium escape valve or a lumed bezel...
To be honest, I don't foresee an update anytime soon. For this reason: Seamaster gen 1: 1993 Seamaster gen 2: 2006 Seamaster gen 3: 2012 Current Seamaster gen 4: 2018 Expected Seamaster gen 5: 2024 ?? But on the other hand, updated follow each other faster and faster.

Hahahahahahaha.
I fell in love with the watch since i watched your video... great review!
One of those watches that I think you need to see in person to really appreciate it.
hay from osaka Tsukasa bull seven na ten two wx noY gun-s rouses na-♥️
Agreed, the bracelet is such a let down for this price.
What drugs have you been smoking?
I hate the bracelet because it's to o heavy and does not taper and the crown it's not so smooth to screw in and out
As always, the segway to the shop was hilarious and great. Cheers, Adrian.
Haha. Thanks Matt. 👍🏻

Movement wise, My money is still on the Rolex Caliber 3135
You are making me want this watch soooo much!! The shots on this video are a step up, you really outdid yourself, the light and composition, so well done... hat is off to you Adrian :)
Thanks so much buddy. 🙌🏻
stock help ya Tsukasa very stock bull seven ♥️
This is the one I'm saving up for!
Wait’s over!!!
Oh my god. This watch... i'm in watch rabbithole,. But this,... Naturally clicked me. I am in love actually haha.
Same for me. 😂
For this reason:
Seamaster gen 1: 1993
Seamaster gen 2: 2006
Seamaster gen 3: 2012
Current Seamaster gen 4: 2018
Expected Seamaster gen 5: 2024 ??
But on the other hand, updated follow each other faster and faster.
