Hello Alexander. I really like the Seamaster. It’s definitely a classic and it shows up quite a bit in my watch box. I do love the Aqua Terra. To me it can be an everyday watch. It’s really a clean and beautiful look.
Nobody does in depth watch reviews like Alexander, always enjoy the content sir and I do agree with you about this Planet Ocean sizing, I own the 2201.50 PO and still love the watch, due to the slightly shouldered asymmetric case the watch wears a bit smaller than the measurements would suggest so at 42mm or even the newer 43.5mm the Planet Ocean wears beautifully.
Thank you so much! The best possible content for the best audience in the world… Thanks for sharing these thoughts with us. Sizes matters some time …. 🤣😉

I agree with you to a certain degree, but I allow myself a moment of rare smugness when I see people begging for the Submariner and wearing it like it’s the holy grail when I’m fairly confident that this gorgeous new SMP Diver 300m beats it in terms of craftsmanship and value for money. Bravo Alexander! Yours is THE definitive review on these watches I have seen in terms of depth and scope. I tried on the Planet Ocean at an Omega boutique and I completely agree the watch is stunning! I didn’t mind the case size to thickness ratio as I’d tried on the Seiko LX Dive watch (the titanium one with the spring drive movement) an hour before! The omega looks positively slim by comparison! I prefer this to the regular Planet Ocean, where I find the polished metal around the indices and on the numerals too reflective and too distracting. This watch on the other had is perfect! And wow, that dial is a stunner!

When these watches were released I was certain that WatchAdvisor will make the most detailed video and was eagerly looking forward to it. I have to say this has exceeded expectations 👌 As for the watches, for a while now, Omega have been releasing timepieces with exquisite dials, along with everything thing I love about them as a watchmaker. Naturally, I can’t make up my mind about which one to get 😅
Alex I am fan of the way you do the video, under different lights , on wrist, just like u did for the rolex datejust and omega aqua terra colors videos are perfect. It tells us a lot about the watch before even going to see them in real.
These are absolutely beautiful. I’m actually glad that Omega went with a closed back approach with this series. The design featuring Poseidon looks wonderful. My favorite is the Aquaterra and 300 SMP.
@@WatchAdvisor I had a look at the whole catalogue at the Omaga boutique at "The Circle" Zurich airport (biggest one in europe, they told me). The clear winner for me after trying some on is the Planet Ocean. One thing i must disagree with you is the size of 39,5mm. It just fits excellent on my wrist and I have a thicker one than you. And also the thinkness with a little over 14mm for a 600m diver is very very good (just look at the regular 43,5mm PO which is 16,1mm). Usually in my experience, such watches are much thicker. All in all, i can't agree to your conclusion with the PO, IMO. I tlooks perfect on you, by the way...
@@sadaka201 Thanks for sharing! Tastes are different... Of course it looks good also on my wrist in that size ... but for me there is little bit of it missing ... love watches > 40 mm
Extensive and informative review. My favourite dial is on the 38mm Aqua Terra. My favourite overall is the 300m since the blue bezel looks great with that sunburst dial. The Ultra Deep has a unique easter egg that I love.
A seven-in-one-video… you choose… either everything or just one of the watches… a good format as it shows… we have done this the first time… Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
Thank you for this great overview, Alexander. The Planet Ocean 600m is my personal favorite. Having a 16cm wrist it’s a perfect size for me and I think that it’s too rarely said that this watch is perfect for smaller wrists. The piece is a bit chunky but it fits very well on the wrist and I think that the thickness of the case and bracelet is a necessary part of the identity of a deep diving watch.
@@WatchAdvisor Yes, I’ve tried the regular blue version and was very tempted to buy it… I would love to see the summer blue version in the flesh: maybe it’ll make me pull the trigger… Thanks again for the overview and for the always great work!
Great video sir! I purchased the Diver 300M and it is absolutely stunning! I went back to see the Planet Ocean and you're right - the diameter to thickness proportions make for a very awkward looking watch. Too bad. The dial is perhaps the best in the whole line-up. If it had the same proportions as the Diver 300M I would have exchanged it.
I only understand now what GOAT (greatest of all times) really means… thank you soooo much … 😂🥳🙏🏻 I may be a GOAT … but at least I am not a sheep 🐑 following the herd … you made my day 😜
@@WatchAdvisor no not yet but that size sounds perfect for my wrist because I normally wear a black bay 54, but maybe the thickness throws off the balance like you said
That’s such a lovely remark, thank you! Actually we slowed down the speed a bit since everybody is on vacation… and we only post when there is something to show and say… we don’t do silly click baiting exercises…
I was completely sold on the diver 300m but then saw the Planet Ocean in the flesh ... Absolutely gorgeous 🤩 Tastes are different of course, but on my 17,2cm - wrist, it looked just right.
Thanks for putting this together. My favorite is also the 300. I just wish it came in a 39 or 39.5mm. I feel like that size would fit the more classic vintage vibe.
Thanks for putting up such a comprehensive video of the 75th anniversary options (all the ones you could get your hands on anyway). I agree completely that the 300 is the favorite. I actually put down a deposit on one at my local boutique last night, so the wait begins. I actually like the bracelet, but don't disagree that options would be nice. Different strokes for different folks. 😊
They haven't been able to tell me when they'll get an allocation for this model, but I'm at the head of the line at this particular boutique. Apparently everyone else loves this model too!
@@WatchAdvisorI was just able to pick it up last night. I still like the bracelet, but it is quite blingy, as the kids say. I made sure to mention to the boutique manager that a rubber strap would be a phenomenal addition to the Seamaster 300 line. The suggestion may die with him, but I feel like I've done my part. 😆
@@gotls1 Congratulations! BRAVO! May your Seamaster 300 always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours... I know the VP Product at Omega quite good and I already told him...
My favorite is the Aqua Terra 38 mm. Amazing, love the color, the shade, the case. Elegant and simple at first glance, but out close, you'll see it is really complex. Is a rally hard choice between this model over the new aqua terra shades (blue). Beautiful watch. Hope one day, I have the privilege of experiencing any of these pieces.
@@WatchAdvisor just finished!! Absolutely the most detail I’ve yet seen on these pieces! Enjoyed watching the whole thing! Sadly, I can’t afford one of these yet, but the video was almost as good as trying them on!
@@WatchAdvisor I agree that the best dial is from the PO. But the Diver 300M is the ultimate icon and the gradient dial is excellent. Plus, I LOVE the bracelet. So that would be my choice.
Thank you for the great rundown - more detail than others and a great close look at all of them so well done and you've got another subscriber :) FYI The single direction bezel for scuba diving doesn't reduce time when you turn it; it actually adds time. A diver would set the main dot on the bezel (usually at 12 position) to point at the minute hand when they start the dive, this lets them time how long they are underwater. This isn't to work out how long they have left of air as you said, it is actually to show how many minutes you have been underwater for decompression calculations on a dive table. (Before the use of diving decompression computers) The reason the bezel only turns in one direction is so if it is knocked while underwater, it only adds time to your dive time, which increases the safety of decompression calculations. You can't accidently take time off which would mean you actually spent longer underwater than the watch is telling you, which means you had absorbed more nitrogen into your body than you are calculating, which means you have a greater chance of getting decompression illness (The bends)... I know it's not important for the video or is really used as its supposed to be in real life, but I wanted to let you know. Again thank you so much for this, I really like the bracelet on the Diver Planet Ocean 600 as well, and I agree a 42mm would be better, but to be honest I love all of the watches in this 75th anniversary range and id love to get one of three of them :) My father who was a Navy Diver back in the day had the original PloProf and I want one of them too!
Id buy the 300m with all its differences just to spite the haters out there. I would get a lot of satisfaction out of that. I’m with you Alexander. Great video once again and Omega seem to have hit the ball out of the park with this line up. Beautiful colour!❤️🙏
Finally saw the 75th watches in person today..WOW! The Seamaster 300m is my favourite in person but they’re all so cool. The dials remind me of the Glashutte Sixties from 2020
Some tempting releases indeed. Summery blue and fresh looking. The AT on the rubber strap would be my choice as I’m not a fan of Omega bracelets so much. What a great presentation thanks for taking the time.
27:50: Mister Alexander, in my humble opinion- the purpose that you can turn the Bezel only counter-clockwise on a Divers watch, is , that you can only „extend“ the elapsed time of your dive and never, neverever „shorten“ it. So it’s the opposite of what you have said. Correct me if I‘m wrong 🤷🏻♂️
@@sinantuna2859Yeah, tried this on at the weekend and it’s fabulous in the metal. Colour is stunning and not too blingy. Fit was perfectly fine on my 6.5” wrist, thickness for me was not an issue. Wish it was a no date like the ultra deep but not a deal breaker. Always promised myself a modern Omega and this is likely to be it.
Bravo again for such a great video. Like you, my favorite one is planet ocean. simply stunning. But also worry with size. Will need to see and try. I do have a see master 42m (no time to die) and find it perfect in term of size.
Great video! Really enjoyed looking at these beautiful dials. The PO dial is my favorite but I prefer the dimensions of the SMP or 41mm AT. I wish Omega would go back to thinner cases generally.
@@WatchAdvisor And some good news. While I have nowhere near the funds to get the amazing PO, this video managed to convince a friend of mine that the Seamaster 300 prof is beautiful, unlike the stock photos suggest. He is on the hunt! So thanks once more for your indepth review of the whole 75th line
Wonderful video. thank you. That 39.5 PO looks great on you despite your misgivings!. Admittedly I am biased as I own a 39.5 2020Tokyo Edition on Omega's Milanese bracelet and love it. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing! I Love watches > 40 mm and in this case I would have wanted that the case is little bigger… May your PO continue to always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours…
Wonderful video, I have to agree with a previous commenter regarding the NAIAD system and perfect alignment. This system is not present on stainless steel seamaster lines other than the Railmaster. Omega makes it an important factor to highlight each time one of their watches has this feature.
The planet Ocean is perfect. I had the 43.5mm version but should have bought the 39.5mm for my 7" wrist. However it was the display caseback sticking to my wrist like a limpet on every warm day and the poor legibility that led to me parting company with that watch. I'm very tempted by this summer blue 39.5mm Planet Ocean.
Impressive video! I love your videos, they are the best! I preordered an SMP300M 75A 3 weeks ago at my local AD here in ABQ, NM. and I have no idea when my watch will come in… any idea how long Omega will take to deliver these to their ADs?
Thanks for sharing our passion and your kind feedback! Unfortunately I have no idea concerning deliveries in the US… Have you contacted Omega US and tried to get some answers? Keep me posted please…
I have to agree with you, my favourite is the classic Seamaster…and I’m also interested in what other colour options could be made available over time.
Hallo Alexander ich habe mir die Seamaster 300 gegönnt. Habe die Uhr jetzt eine Woche und bin begeistert von der Präzision...eine Geile Uhr ist das auch mit dem Stahlband. 😮. Danke für ihr ausführliches Review.
for Ultra Deep, the water pressure at a depth of 6000 mtrs is eq to 47450 Newtons/sq inch on the watch face, and that pressure is also eq to a waterfall pressure from a height of 593 mtrs … this clearly implies that such a Watch is fully capable of withstanding pressure of a crushing 100ft Seawave and/or a Shockwave of 194dB in real life .. thus the Watch is fully justified for its construction . . !!!
If omega makes this 38mm to 40, includes the sprite system and ups the power reserve to 70hrs, changes the metal to OMEGA steel, and includes a 5mm micro adjust, while keeping it below 13mm thickness, It will dominate Rolex for many years. But Omega is the brand that is always just that last bit short of perfection. @@WatchAdvisor
What a brilliant overview. Quite the marathon run! The storytelling of this collection is perfect. My only gripe is that the price hikes have become a bit... violent lately. The 300m I have now is $1250 more than I got it for a year or so ago. The 39.5mm Planet Ocean is my preference but I'd need to try it on. My comfort zone is a touch larger. I was hoping the bulk would offset the smaller footprint.
Thanks for sharing our passion! Prices go up due to the extremely strong Swiss Franc… these are not factory price rises, but necessary currency adaptations…
@@WatchAdvisor understood. Still, it hasn't been an equal correction across the pieces I'm looking at and the shift in value propositions has shuffled my short list a bit.
I adored the seamaster 300m, especially the gorgeous summer blue colour. However, the power reserve of approximately 55 hours disappointed me considering the price.
That dial is just insane, I've bough the green seamaster 300 diver and will recieve it in desember, just cant wait! It will put my submariner 126610ln in the box for a while i imagen :)
Although I opt for single color dials, and to be honest mostly black and at odd times blue, these dials are stunning. The PO 600m at first thought it's a 43.5mm and was surprised to see it's a 39mm. I bought the 43.5mm a couple of years back with the 8900, went straight for 43.5mm as it wears smaller, very comfortable and although my wrist isn't over 7.2", looks like the wrist shot of the 39mm on mine. Haven't checked Omega for a year or so, but looking at the anniversary models, one of these beauties is a must. Thanks for the great review. Edit, aren't the SM 300/SM diver 300 and PO 600 iso certified ? Because, if not mistaken, I heard in the vid only the 6000 is iso 4265 .
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion with us! All Omega divers comply to ISO diving standards since the Master Chronometer Certification is much tougher...
My very first thoughts about the Seamaster was a sigh of relief that theu went with a solid caseback and then a prayer that they had made a rubber strap for it 🙏🏻
Quoted from the official technical information sheet of Omega: “Caseback: polished-brushed O-MEGASTEEL, wave-edged, screw-in caseback” … but the commemorative medallion featuring all the engravings is made out of titanium grade 5…
Totally agree the planet ocean is the best looking and was the one I wanted till I saw the size, just to small for the thickness, what was Omega thinking 🧐
@@WatchAdvisor Too little too late (literally) as it’s an anniversary that’s passed for that I would think, after all they’ve never done anything with the 300 pro bracelet that is so controversial ( personally I like it) such a shame as like you say it’s the pick of the bunch if was bigger
Good video - but one mistake. The watches do not come with a metal and rubber band. I have the new 300M with a blue rubber band and a deployment buckle. Incredibly beautiful.
@@davidr2802 Hi David - you're right "Deployant" buckle - I knew better. This proves that I am not good at multi-tasking and should concentrate on one thing at a time. Thanks of the correction.
Was considering the green dial version .... I would love to hear how this new caseback feels in comparison to the standard one, the engravings look pretty deep and I know sometimes it can get annoying if you can feel it ?? But I am loving this new blue color!
I am with you Alexander the 300 is exceptionally beautiful ! Would the blue snoopy cordura strap fit on the watch? probably a stunning combo. Hopefully someday for me ! :)
@@WatchAdvisor I love the dial of the ultra deep. Unfortunately the watch is special and so is the price. I will look at the Planet Ocean and the Diver 300m. After watching the video the Planet Ocean is my favorit
The planet ocean and ultra deep are perfect, I really love them, I just have a regret, they should take this occasion to upgrade the caliber with the Spirate, it would have been perfect. Do you know if they intend to upgrade all models with it or it will only be available on the racing ?
I tried these on at the boutique and I really like the Planet Ocean, even at 38.5 its had a great wrist presence and sits super well on the wrist. Its not small, I have a 19cm wrist bigger than yours and its fits nicely! Love it
Saw all these watches a couple of days ago. Thought my favourite would be the heritage 300 and while stunning I struggled with the legibility, damn my dodgy eyes. It’s a shame but I really hate having to bring a watch close and having to read it over the top of my glasses to read a watch. The PO 600m though was fabulous. Just enough sparkle without being over the top and in your face and fit well on my 6.5” wrist, didn’t mind the thickness either. Legibility was great, would have preferred no date but I could live with it. First watch in a long time that I would feel comfortable spending my hard earned on.
Decided to head off to the AD yesterday to take another look at the PO. They were quiet so had plenty of time to look at lots of other watches including various colour variations of the heritage 300, diver 300 and other PO’s. Knew the summer blue PO was the one for me though. We agreed a discount, watch paid for and it’s now sitting on my wrist. Perfect size for my wrist and it hides its thickness very well, slides under the cuff with ease but why you would want to hide this beauty I’m not sure, the dial is stunning. Getting used to the weight but overall I’m one happy bunny. Came close to getting the white dialled diver 300m but I think I made the right choice. May have to go back for the diver when the bank balance has recovered from the shock.
Rubber b has straps for the 300. So does B2 straps (rubber owns them too). The rubber B is integrated with the case the B2 is not so you can go either way.
Excellent video! I went to the boutique last weekend all anniversary models were available except the Ploprof which I am interested. Also, agree with you on the Seamaster 300 bracelet I have mine (black dial) on the Rubber B. Omega doesn't have a rubber strap option for this 😢.

Thanks for sharing! I assume you once tried that size of the PO on your wrist…
Thanks for sharing and May your Diver continue to always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours!

My favorite is also the 300. I just wish it came in a 39 or 39.5mm. I feel like that size would fit the more classic vintage vibe.
I disagree... IMHO the size is perfect... in 39 or 39,5 it would be too small...
You are welcome! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! What did thy tell you, how long do you have to wait?
They haven't been able to tell me when they'll get an allocation for this model, but I'm at the head of the line at this particular boutique. Apparently everyone else loves this model too!
@@WatchAdvisorI was just able to pick it up last night. I still like the bracelet, but it is quite blingy, as the kids say. My favorite is the Aqua Terra 38 mm. Amazing, love the color, the shade, the case. Elegant and simple at first glance, but out close, you'll see it is really complex.
Is a rally hard choice between this model over the new aqua terra shades (blue).
Beautiful watch.

@@WatchAdvisor I agree that the best dial is from the PO. But the Diver 300M is the ultimate icon and the gradient dial is excellent. Plus, I LOVE the bracelet. So that would be my choice.
"Yeah baby, I've been down there in the deep" -that had me! Your presentation of all these watches really sells me on them.

@@WatchAdvisor The 300! The size and shape is just right, and that blue reminds me of icicles.
Good choice! 👍🏻 Please keep us posted….

Some tempting releases indeed. Summery blue and fresh looking. The AT on the rubber strap would be my choice as I’m not a fan of Omega bracelets so much. What a great presentation thanks for taking the time.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us and your kind feedback!
Thats exactly what it does... this is what I tried to say... Sorry if it was confusing...

Wonderful video, I have to agree with a previous commenter regarding the NAIAD system and perfect alignment. This system is not present on stainless steel seamaster lines other than the Railmaster. Omega makes it an important factor to highlight each time one of their watches has this feature.
If there is NAIAD it is mentioned on the case back…
The planet Ocean is perfect. I had the 43.5mm version but should have bought the 39.5mm for my 7" wrist. However it was the display caseback sticking to my wrist like a limpet on every warm day and the poor legibility that led to me parting company with that watch. I'm very tempted by this summer blue 39.5mm Planet Ocean.

for Ultra Deep, the water pressure at a depth of 6000 mtrs is eq to 47450 Newtons/sq inch on the watch face, and that pressure is also eq to a waterfall pressure from a height of 593 mtrs … this clearly implies that such a Watch is fully capable of withstanding pressure of a crushing 100ft Seawave and/or a Shockwave of 194dB in real life .. thus the Watch is fully justified for its construction . . !!!
Thanks for sharing these interesting thoughts with us !

Great video! Let me correct just one thing: as far as I know, the Ultra Deep caseback is made in Titanium not O-mega Steel.
