I've had mine ONE day. I don't think i'm ready for this just yet. Looks great though!
Cut looks great! 🙌🏽
@@4runnerbros thanks brother! 👊
best looking 4R limited nightshade on youtube!!!
Thank you!! 🙌
Great video. Is it possible to post some pictures of how you zipped tied the wheel well liner on both the drivers side and passenger side? Also, after the cut on the passenger side, did it expose the wiper fluid reservoir tank?
Nice Bumper Cut👍😎!! Looks really good on your Limited
Much appreciated! 🙌
Can you please make a more in depth tutorial for this? I really want to do this but I scared to ruin my bumper. It seems there’s a lot more plastic and metal under there than it shows on your video. PLEEEEEEASE!?
Thanks for giving me the idea for this, looks great. Might be doing this here soon with my Limited.
I didnt even realize i had tow hooks down there also 😂
Looks great! Amazing what trimming a little plastic will do for the looks.
Great video, what did you do with the fender liner?
Very cool mod! Any concerns with the wiring being exposed since the fender liner is gone? Thinking of doing the same thing but maybe an inch lower than your cut.
I have been thinking about this 😀 But my wife might kill me 🤣
🤣🤣
lol 😂 mines to if I do that cut on her 4Runner limited
Great job. I have the same car and I get all the tools I need to do the trim but bro, I have a question... what did u do with the arch whell attached to the part of the bumper that u trimmed? Just cut it and that's it? Did u attached with something? Thanks
Same question
I have a nightshade, could I still do this? I think the additional piece in mine is just double sided tape.
How much did that suspension and lift run?
How do you get rid of the black front air foiler without doing bumper cut yet? Cut? I see yours is done all at once
Looks great. Are you thinking of upgrading the skid plate?
Thanks! Definitely, skid plate is next on the list.
@@Q9Overland Nice, Looking forward to you next vid!
Very helpful! Thanks!
Great idea been staring at mine trying to come up with similar for my 2013 (pre facelift)Limited! I see there are rough "melted edges" with the cutting wheel before sanding and trim was added. What kind of cutting disc did you use and what speed did you find minimized the melting?
Damn, tempting as hell but id mess it up, lol!
Hey man! Yours looks awesome. I got the courage to cut mine a couple months ago after someone cracked the lowest part of the bumper! Only question is: have you solved the wind noise? I get a sorta hollow windy sound now from the front sounds like blowing around the radiator area.
Hey man - Appreciate it! I had wind noise at first due to the fender liner flopping around at high speed. I ended up zip tying it to the frame and no longer get any wind noise. Does that sound like what you’re experiencing or is it more in the front? I wonder if there’s a piece of plastic that might be catching wind. I removed a couple extra plastic trays by the skid plate.
@@Q9Overland yeah that's the odd thing! it feels like I've trimmed everything tidy and zip tied everything and maybe just getting an echo wind chamber in the opening now? Only thought is maybe that I don't have a skid yet? Just bought a cartrimhome TRD knock off because I don't do any real offroading, so maybe that cuts some of the wind, we'll see!
Let us know how that goes!
@@xvaltor just checking back in to say that the skid plate definitely seems to have cut down the wind noise!
Do you have to zip tie any of the plastic trim at the bottom?
Good question - Only had to zip tie the driver side fender lining so it didn’t flop around when driving 👍
How can I contact you for business?
Was the edging hard to put down ?
Actually pretty easy. There’s a metal strip inside that I opened up slightly with pliers and then clamped it down once it was in place 👍
Why buy a Limited? Isn't the TRD Offroad Premium less? Not talking trash, legitimately curious.
Honestly, good question. I bought my Limited used, completely stock with 60k miles. You can get a much better deal on a used limited because a lot of people don’t like the bumper. Also, I’ve grown to love and actually prefer (for my needs) the full-time 4wd system that’s specific to the limited. 🤘
If you’re in a northern climate the full time 4wd is amazing af. ❤
just my 2 cents since I have a LE also...I wanted the butt coolers and auto AC. I die inside everytime I see the TRD grill, but my cool butt in Texas and my wife in my passenger seat with her own AC knob makes it all better.
I bought mine for the comfort features
Thanks for the response. I'm new to the 4Runner world and bought a ORP a few months ago but was looking at the Limited first. Great build btw.
