When you have a dog you know they are part of the family and the hardest thing about having a dog is the goodbye. Deepest sympathy I hope you and Chris have a very prosperous 2024
Rob I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dog. They are your best friends. My deepest sympathy goes out to you ,Claire and the family. Great video as always.
Hi, Our Jack Russell parsons is 14 now, had her from 8 weeks old. This last month she has been weeing after about 4 hours ,so it's like having a baby again up at 4am to let her out. She's been a fantastic dog and I can feel your pain, we Don't know how we will have for now.But every day is a blessing. Love to you and your family. Regards kev in Manchester.
Chris and Rob are both mechanics but I think Chris does most of the heavy work. Rob is more of an organiser, buying at auction, ordering parts, running around picking bits up, taking cars for mot etc etc and of course he does all the video editing and social media. They are the perfect team. I would love to know how they met and why they started working together on UA-cam. It takes real courage to give it a try and I’m so happy with their success. They rebuild the right way to get these crash damaged cars off the scrap and on the road.
So sorry to hear about your loss. We have been through the same thing and although he was a good age it doesn’t make it any easier. Sending you and Claire our love and support
So sorry you lost your Little Dog! We have a 16 year old who we are helping a good deal, but his life is coming to an end. Our love and support go with you.
We’ve been through the same thing as you Chris loosing a little dog 🐶 they are part of your family for such a long time and give you so much joy, We said no to a another one but less than a month later we got our Ruby and weren’t disappointed with the decision, As for the Land Rover it’s on course to be a great car again thanks to you both 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Been following the channel for ages - Really sorry to hear about your dog, we lost ours about 6 weeks ago and I know how painful it is - they are a family member.
Sorry for your loss of Charlie ,, they're family not just fur ,, but the videos are getting better and better still enjoying them ,, I may not comment all the time but I still watch when time allows
Rip Charlie my deepest condolences 2 u Rob n family I never thought our lil jack Russell we had 4 yrs would ever die n when she did I was devastated so fully understand. awesome video as always boys happy new year 2 u both and ur family's 🙏🙏👍👍🙏🙏
Know exactly how you feel about your dog Rob, my son, who lives next door, had a dog which had to be put down due to the severity of a cancer which had grown causing her severe pain. She was only two years old. It broke my heart having to say goodbye. Doesn’t matter how old they are they still mean the same, all they want is love and they return that love in bucket loads. Best companions you can have.
So sorry for your loss. We lost our boy 3 days ago, it takes some getting used to not having him around. He was also 15. I wish you and Clare all the best.
Chris, I used to work in composites as a bonding fitter. It is worth knowing that most adhesives, including epoxies, will give way under heat. Panel bond should let go at slightly less than 200°C. Of course, controlling the spread of the heat may not always be possible but small heat-sources could make tidying up easier.
Hi Rob and Chris, coming together very nicely this one guy's. Im not a JLR fan , but.... they are nicely specced and drive well. I'm sure as always you will have no problem finding a new owner for it once completed. Alex.
Sorry about Charlie , Rob & Claire remember he was loved and you gave him a great life. Chris was smitten with the car ! Great to see the speed in which it’s coming together. Happy new year looking forward to the next video on this one.
So sorry to hear about Charlie. They are a part of the family. Take heart that he's having fun playing with his other doggy mates. Best wishes to you and Chris for 2024.
it seems that the karmas have aligned for you! well done guys! good luck in the future and good luck with the new projects this year! greetings from Romania!
Sorry to hear about your doggy rob its heartbreaking . I sadly went through the same during xmas & new year its totally broken me and i know you will be going through the same
I've been there when you lose a family pet, and I send my condolences You don't realise how integral they are to your family till they are gone. Happy new year guys
On a bit of lighter note rob i see you got mention another you tubers channel from across the pond a channel called vtuned, in which one of your videos helped him out your going international now 👍👍👍👍👍
Oh, my goodness, I missed the news of your dog, I know how much you felt for Charley. Dogs become such a vital part of the family. I dog sit my daughter's almost 15 year old Heinz and she has become a virtual family member. My late wife and I went through 5 dogs in our time together, all are missed by me now that my wife has passed. Glad the Land Rover is doing well, it is not a vehicle for me, but it does sound great, it is getting the magic touch of the team to see it right.
Sorry to hear about Charlie Rob, they are very much a valued family member. I've never owned a dog as an adult, but lived around them for years as a kid. I'll never forget my Dad telling me that Sweep (our little grey whippet) had gone to live on a farm, I was distraught. I obviously found out later that he didn't want to tell us he'd died. Great work on the Disco lads, it's looking great 👍
Hi Rob. Pets are part of the family and give love freely . Great progress on the Range Rover and l noticed a"quickie" on a Fiat 500 .....Good start to the year ! Cheers
Having to have a best friend put down is so hard i have done it twice no more for me just can’t go through that any more, on the bright side you two are lovely guys and great to follow keep up the good work
Condolences to you and your lady Rob. I’ve been through it twice and it’s heartbreaking. Take comfort in the fact that Charlie knew he was loved, and whatever action you and Claire took it was in the best interest of Charlie. When the time is right….go and get another one. It’s a strange house without a dog in it, especially when you are both used to him being there. Anyway another great video gentlemen. Your enthusiasm is infectious and your attention to detail is very professional . Cheers guys…John
Awesome job on the landy. Ron I’m So sorry to hear about your dog charlie. I know that they are an integral part of the family. Time is a healer but I’m sure you will cherish the good times you all had together. All the best
Rob so sorry to hear about your dog, I've been there and know the hurt. Best wishes to you and your wife. Another excellent video guys happy new year I hope you all have a good one.
As usual Chris deal's with the challenges of a modern car constuction with ease. The Disco is coming togther nicely and will look great when its done. They are large cars when you see them up close - fun to park at Tesco's 🙂
I agree it looked a bit worse than it was but it all turned out good in the end. One good thing for Chris is that there wasn't much chassis work to do and very little body work which makes a change! All those pipes seemed a bit fiddly to do but you got 'a bit of a wiggle on' and jobs a good one. Great video Rob and Chris, thank you both. 👍👍( Note to Rob, sorry for your loss. My eldest niece lost her dog last year and she was very upset so you have my sympathy)
Rob so sorry for your loss never nice loosing a dog part of the family. You two boys got a mention on V tuned channel your quality work is being appreciated all over. John a friend from Glasgow
Sorry for your loss Rob & Claire it always feels worse at this time of year but in reality its painful at anytime, just treasure the memories. You and Chris are absolute masters of your craft. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming
See you guys got a bit of recognition from the states ,nice little mention on v-tuned channel regarding a M4 battery lol you guys are smashing it , brilliant channel keep up the good work guys 👍
I think I missed a video, the last repair was a Vauxhall combo van that requires a turbo. This repair involves the land-rover discovery. As usual another first class repair on a badly damaged Land Rover. A pleasure to watch you guys are stars.
Must have missed the video with the news on Charlie. So sorry, we had a Charlie in our lives and sounds like he had similar conditions to yours. All the best.
I do love watching you do cars, I would love to do cars like you, but don't have the knowledge, plus my job is medical NHS (paramedic). I can tell you both enjoy getting excited once the car is nearly finished. Keep up the great work Rob and Chris.
All the best to you both for the New Year .... So very sorry to hear about your loss of Charlie. We lost our 13 yr old dog last summer so know how painful it is to lose your dog. Jeremey Clarkson summed it up well when he said it's ''achingly sad'' to lose your dog.
So sorry for the loss of your precious doggie, they are always part of the family and I know how hard it is as we are on our fourth doggie ourselves ❤❤❤❤😊
When are we going to see " End of the weld" T shirts? I think they would sell well! My sympathies on the loss of your dear little dog, that is heartbreaking. Hugs from Scotland.
Aboutn5 years ago I did a Jaguar Land Rover factory tour (highly recommended) and saw these glue and riveted aluminium body shells being built. I asked the tour guide how they could be repaired after major damage, and he seemed dismissive of repairs being possible. It's encouraging to see that they CAN be repaired in the real world if people think, like you and Chris have. By the way, I see your Fait 500 front bumper next to the Discovery seems to have a mind of tis own, jumping from one place to another between clips without you touching it. Tools in my workshop seem to have a similar habit....
I can’t believe how complex the accessories are on these engines. Surely they most have known how difficult they would be to repair. I don’t think they want people keeping the same car and would rather just sell you a new one. They always try to tempt people on finance deals with the newest model, locking you in for 3-5 more years making monthly payments but never actually owning your car. It’s genius really.
Sorry to hear about your dog Rob, I recently lost my 14 year old dog who had heart failure, it’s the worst feeling in the world letting them go 💔 my eyes were on the Fiat 500 lounge in this video 👀
Happy New year guys, and sorry for your lost, Rob. It hurts, but it seems to be the only right decission. All the best on your way, guys. Always looking forward to see your updates.
When you have a dog you know they are part of the family and the hardest thing about having a dog is the goodbye. Deepest sympathy I hope you and Chris have a very prosperous 2024

😢 Charlie was blessed with caring owners. Think Chris is almost a workaholic with itchy fingers.😊
Cracking video gents. This car will be buttoned up very soon and out the door . Condolences to Rob and Claire for their sad loss of little Charlie.

Great update guys - just a quick caveat, they don‘t always look better when they’re stripped off 😉
We had a disco 5 before getting a Range Rover sport and we loved the disco , in fact it has a few wee bits that the sport doesn’t and we miss them.
