love watchinf your videos you inspired me at 15 to go and buy a £200 and get it back on the road car now im 17 and lm learning to drive in it keep up the good work
its so nice seeing you both working together. Could really see he wanted this done and its great you pulling in favours to get it done for him. Your both such great people
Loved the Josh input, Like you and Chris it is always great to watch people that know what they are doing but also able to put it laymans terms for people like me.
Great job guys as always. Someone's got themselves a very nice Christmas present. Hopefully the young lady's now taken delivery. I know Josh didn't want to say it but that clutch had definitely been a clutch too long.
If you can't help out your own family in getting them a decent car for the right price, then what's the point of doing this? Other than to make a decent living while entertaining us all aside of course? lol.
Good evening Rob, Chris and Josh, great video and Josh saved the day. What a lovely Christmas present. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video, Ged.
Hello Rob and Chris, what a ideal first car the Fiat 500 is,Chris has done brilliant on the bodywork.and the van has a new clutch and drives, happy days 😀.
I can’t believe it was written off because of that minor damage. You should see the little cars the locals drive around in Paris. They keep using them till it’s just a seat on a chassis!
Josh, good work. And what a nice Christmas present to be on the receiving end of. Rob, I once did that to a clutch in a British Railways 1.7lt Sherpa railway minibus around 1984. Sort of tore all the friction off of the clutch for a laugh. NCL (National Carriers Ltd) did the railway maintainance in Bristol. A month later I took the van back as I'd tore the centre of the clutch out. Clutch material was great on the new one, but I'd worked out how to snap the spline off the disc. Dennis was the receptionist, and Lance was one of the mechanics. They were so confused as to how the damage was caused, so they took me into the workshop to see the damage. In the end, Dennis pinned me against a wall in the office and lifted me up by my nipples. I've never shagged a clutch to death again, to this day!
2 videos in 1 got to be fantastic! Thanks josh giving us an insight into your world . Guys well done yet again a young girl is going to be over the moon❤❤.
That was an amazing video Rob, thank you for putting it all together. Chris is a magician on the body work, and Josh? Well his recording and work on the recovery truck wes brilliant. Fantastic result all round.😊
Hello Rob & Chris, what a great little "first car" - really good to see the gearbox and clutch change on the lorry - great job well done by Josh!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Another great video.the wee fiat 500 is going to make a great first car .Josh really knows his stuff he's certainly a very handy guy to know.Another quick turn around car .Rob and Chris keep up the great work Looking forward to the next video 🚗👍🏻
Great Video and what a lovely first car. Once again, really enjoyed the segment by Josh… top bloke. He’s great at explaining what he’s doing and passing on his experience.
Hi guys.. great channel.. been watching your channel from you got the peugeot 306 GTI... i be come a member of copart and bought a audi a3 s line with 32000 miles on it cat N i put a front wing on it that's all it needed.. i applied for the tax book and it was a one owner car. And have the service history and book pack 😊 keep up the good work lads
It is was a pleasant surprise seeing a 500 back on the channel, I hope she has many years of happy motoring with it. Great to see Josh back too, even if he almost inched your catchphrase. 🤣
I saw this on the ramp in the back of the last Disco video but I don't care that it's another 500 video, it's a hell of a gift for the young lady, 35k miles, specced up well and smart. Chris would have been nuts not to go for it.
I think the young lady will be very happy with that little car and low mileage I believe you said. Well done to Josh for all his hard work and the truck is back in action. 👍👍
That's what you call getting ya moneys worth out of a clutch plate good on chris scoring brownie points with his gf 😂 and good on rob for sourcing the parts asap 👍
what a super Christmas gift !! a super first car , good to have the truck back on the road, but the fiat will look like new once the paint has gone on , thanks guys 👍
Here's a thing for you. For cutting through those seals and the glue in the wings. Make a small hole in the glue or sealant and pass a guitar A string through it. Then pull and push the string to cut the sealant. Best are the steel electric guitar strings .and cheaper the better. Cheaper ones are really awful to play but cut really well. On awkward areas it might need both of you pulling backwards and forwards on the string. Hope you can work out what I mean.
What a lovely car for just passing your test your girl friends daughter will be over the moon with that , well done Chris & Rob for pulling out all the stops getting it ready , once Santa has been she will be so happy with it , wishing the young lady all the happiness in the world and happy motoring 🎉
I watch these vids mostly for you accents, absolutely bloody hilarious. Its like Del and Rod all over again. Half the time I cant tell if you are being serious.
Love these little things, and it's nice to see another one getting some SRUK love. Personally, whatever you've got on the ramp, it never gets old - it's still a car, and therefore still interesting.
What a lovely job and a really nice little car. Mrs Salvage Rebuilds Chris’ daughter will be thrilled. Congratulations to her for passing her test. Another great video guys 😊
Great video guys..Thanks Rob for explaining why the box had to be changed and filming as I did ask you before Christmas 😊 If a video was going to happen
That Fiat 500 was likely cheap to buy, fix and insure especially with Chris's magic and Rob getting parts. Low miles, seemed to be well maintained. Likely the damage on the passenger side was from a sideswipe of someone getting close when parked, nothing major but just more than the value of car to fix by a shop at full rates. Easy to park in town, enough power and cute too. Good starter car.
Great videos guys. I love fiat 500's great cars . Hope she likes it . Well done again Chris for making such a good job of it. I like how you covered both vehicles in this video. Look forward to seeing your next video.😊
Great video, not surprised at the amount of white 500's in salvage yard, they were bargain cars with 'oopsie' type owners that dinked them weekly till they could get past their first year of driving.
Fantastic vlog as always chaps she will be delighted with the Fiat, superb work by Josh, just a tip on the new karcher steamer….use pure water in it (same water as what window cleaners use) as this will stop it getting clogged or limescaled up, take care chaps and Chris I think you deserve another holiday to the Cotswolds, kind regards Mark from Billericay 😀😀👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
I remember people moaning you were doing too many Fiat 500's but that was ages ago. Anyway the good thing is that the two of you must be black belts in these little cars 👍 P.S. I also remember you Karchering years ago Ford Focus seats you had removed...they came up superb 👌
Was there a final piece of video of when it returned from the paint shop? Staggered it was an insurance write off. Seemed like minimal damage. Great first car for Chris's partner's daughter.
in case there's no dad joke at the end - I think my wife might be a drug dealer , her phone rang and i answered it & this geezer said is that dope still there ?
Another lovely vid, but rob you need to space out the voiceovers some more for the time lapses, they often cut off mid sentence. Maybe slow down the timelapses so that they end when you finish talking? I only mention it because its giving context and explanations to what you're doing, and its a bit jarring to have the explanation cut off. At any rate, great work.
Another great video, doing a good turn for a family member at the time of year that it counts the most and keeping another car on the road 🛣️🛣️, top marke Chris and Rob ❤❤🇮🇪🇮🇪
Well done, phew what great content in this video, Chris looking after his GF Daughter and Rob getting the Truck sorted by Josh, time now Rob that you get a bit bigger truck as your projects seem to get bigger!
What a lovely first car. The young lady will never forget the first car she ever owned and drove giving her the freedom of the roads for the very first time. Great start to 2024. Respect.

its so nice seeing you both working together. Could really see he wanted this done and its great you pulling in favours to get it done for him. Your both such great people

the guy who did the clutch is an absolute guru! I doubt there is anything much worth knowing about fitting a clutch that he doesn't know!
Josh, good work.

that clutch as disintregrated from having a overloaded truck . i no this cuz mine did same as i was transporting td5 discoveries .
How's the 500 doing...love to see the car finished and handed over to Chris's girlfriend's daughter. Love the channel 👍
That's a good one boys . Very varied , and a nice story on the Fiat . Bulk buying when the market is flat is a sweet move . Looking forward to 2024 .
About the gearbox on the truck ..its good practice to change the oil in it every year. The gearbox in the Master/Movano/NV400 aren't the sturdiest
Iv always changed it

Nice one Chris lovely little car she will love it great to see you two back after Christmas 👍

Hehe, Rob cant drive 🤣 nice video from the truck repair
Bet she loved it 👏🏻well done guys
Thank you.
Action packed this one. Great stuff
Clutch worn to the rivets and no damage to the flywheel? It's a Christmas miracle!
It won’t…the friction material is thicker on the flywheel side to prevent that happening…it’s been that way since clutches were invented
She is one lucky young lady having you fellas sorting a motor for her.
What a lovely first car. The young lady will never forget the first car she ever owned and drove giving her the freedom of the roads for the very first time. Great start to 2024. Respect.
Nice one Rob a great job as always a nice little project for Chris not too much bodywork but nun the less a nice video for us to see. my daughter fancies a fiat 500 a typical 18year olds car but look forward to the finished project as always ❤
