In a documentary, interviewed Marilyn Manson and asked, “What if the kids at Columbine were here today, what would you say to them?” Marilyn Manson replied, “I wouldn't say anything. I'd listen to them, which nobody else did.” This thought-provoking quote really puts a different perspective on life.

Same here! He was smart in terms of career choice bc kids-teens are going to follow the embodiment of what their parents, guardians loath, sadly and especially if you have "truly wicked" moms and dads that use you, abuse you, neglect you, are druggies & heavy boozers themselves. You know. He actually had a good life was smart enough to create a persona and music that would sell to millions of pissed off young males and their latch-on pretend girlfriends. But he toned down a lot and realised, whoa.....Im not a monster or THE anti-Christ. When an interviewer asked if he ever found Jesus, MM & his quick wit, said, "I didn't know He was missing." He came out when I was 17, but I liked music, not "noise." I had a very very old soul. But I knew he was an "Act" like anyone in the biz. Like the woman who has played "Vampira" for 30 years! She's pretty, but it takes the whole makeup, wig, and costuming for her "Act" to come alive & entertain. I'd be starstruck w anybody. That is their careers and I respect that.

Break down those walls and be able to bare your soul unrepentantly. You have to hand it to him, he’s not afraid to be himself. And that is something a lot of people have a hard time doing. He was also honest about not grieving for strangers like he would people he loves. That’s incredibly introspective and unabashedly HONEST. That’s something we all think and experience but no celebrity has the balls to say it in a nationally broadcasted interview. Except Marilyn. He’s very impressive.

he brings up the name Charles manson. it's obvious he was 1 of those kids that got alot of motivation from Charles manson like he looked up to him. This guy's childhood is very dark and typical I can tell. He was 1 of those kids that got picked on a lot and nobody really liked in school. I can completely understand why he says he's responsible for school shootings it's because those kids that do that are a mirror image of himself. Those school shooters look at Marilyn manson as someone they can relate too. This is very sad and depressing. All I can is be careful who your kids are looking up too be careful what your kid is doing period! Always make sure you know what your kid is listening watching etc... because all it takes is 1 dark path in the wrong direction and your kid is brainwashed and influenced as you saw with this guy. If your child isn't looking up to you than you are failing as a parent
