Hello thanks for the video! I used it to remove my transmission. I’m installing a remanufactured one this weekend but I see an issue. On my remanned trans there’s no little silver tubing coming out of it but I have one on mine and I see it on yours in the video. How do I remove that part to put it on the remanned trans. I’m referring to the small kinda s shaped stainless tubing thats on the transmission that the rubber hose connects to
@@Gr8kngJ First I would ask the place that built it to give you one. If they can't you have to swap it. I think it just presses in. Mabey twist and pull with some vice grips. It is the vent tube.
Replace the original cooler which Is part of the radiator or put a external stand alone cooler on it. There isn't a good way to flush them without a machine.
If it's just shuttering then mabey you can get by with just a torque converter and flush the cooler or replace it. That's where all the metal goes if there is any.
You're so amazingly talented and good with your hands. Thank you for always fixing my car❤️
Again, great step by step tutorial. 👌
Thank you.
Great video. My 18 Tahoe needs a transmission replacement I believe. Not sure I want to try this at home...
It's a lot of work on the ground.
What would this rebuild cost for a 2018 Yukon?
@@zachwarner9632 Right around 3,500 to 4,000

What if I don’t have a flush machine? Any other way to flush it? Planning on dropping it myself and having it rebuilt and putting her back up

@@mechanicgray dam, I wonder if I can rent one, thanks!
@@prestonjames1001 yeah I don't know about that. Good luck.
Great video. I’m working on a 14 Silverado 2wd that’s shuttering. Hoping to get by with just a torque converter swap. Am I being overly optimistic?
