This is how I learnt the guitar. I HAD to learn to play the songs I loved, and that was motivation enough. Later I could do way more and even write my own songs. Thanks for this, its motivational! ♥️🙏🏼🍀
One of the best beginner lessons I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. To be able to play a song with just 2 chords shows how simple music can be. You can complicate it as much as you as you get better over time but to be able to get to play a song within minutes is so motivating every learner player should try it.
I started playing E-Guitar a few months ago with some breaks inbetween because of the fact that my fingers got ripped up pretty hard. I did not learn a single note, a single chord or Powerchord. In fact, I started playing and learning guitar by playing "Parisienne Walkways". The first ever note in that song (without the 7/7/8 slide in the very beginning) is a full bend. I played that over and over again and I can play every part except for the harder solos of course. Learning with fun is the most important factor for me. I also can play a big part of The Loner and even Still got the Blues. All just learned with tabs, backing tracks and my spark amp. More fun = more motivation to learn

Wow this guy is a great teacher! On a side note: in a strange dream I think I have played Eleanor Rigby with Kent and really killed it!

If it sounds good who cares. Love that attitude. The ear can be fooled very easily. Sometimes it can even be made to think its a nose.
