It is nice to see how you came up with the well plans for the ultimate computer desk. But when things you don't expect come while entering the desk into your room, you didn't run out of options. I admire that, you found a way out. And the stuffs you have in the house, dope!

I love the design. Constructive criticism, designs are usually model’d showing faces which are the front, top, and side view. This helps the designer to communicate all it’s information to scale, with detail added in special cases. Doing this has one major benefit, in that others can easily understand and replicate your design faithfully without issue. Still an awesome video, and an awesome build. Thank you making this, and taking the time and effort to share it with everyone. Please don’t take my comments too seriously, just with a grain on salt. Cheers 😁

    Love the desk, Dude!
Gives me tonnes of ideas for my workspace in the new house I'll be moving into next year, and I appreciate that!
However, I only have one minor suggestion ... which is have you thought about mounting your screen on an adjustable armature?!
I think that a feature like that would be awesome, as it would give you:-
    a) more desk space over all.
    b) the ability to change your seating position or the angle of the screen to account for light from the window.
    c) if you had a decent armature the ability to adjust the screen's exact location in 3d relation to yourself.
    d) potentially the ability to build a wall of 4 monitors for better work flow when editing videos or just even surfing the web.

    • @kalereborn

Sticking a decent PC in that cupboard and closing the door will be murder on the PC. Think about the airflow. You can have a slick PC and liquid cool it but it won't count worth shit if the airflow is what half an inch to an inch space in the back? Thats basically a deadzone in there. He needs like at least a hole on the front with a wiremesh or something to promote airflow. Maybe a little fan if you want to be fancy.

Man having your pc inside a sealed compartment is not a good idea, the pc needs "breathing". Fresh air in order not to overheat.

@Mario Filling the entire case with things? Doesn't make sense. Please link to articles or videos supporting this statement.

@Mario And on LTT, you can also find Linus drilling holes on his tv stand to install some fans so the pc in the cupboard can breathe.

Had the same thought. I think a solution would be just cutting some holes on the side, maybe even on angles to make it look cool and add to the design

@Mario Of course filling it up wont cause it to overheat. Heat goes upward (example: Hot air balloons are lifted by heat) and the CPU temp, which is located closest to the top of the case will not be effected by anything "filling up" the PC because the only free space available is below the CPU. The problem is, when the PC has pushed out enough hot air inside that small compartment after an hr or 2, there wont be any more room temp. air available anymore and in the end, it's not even the hotter air being pushed into the PC that overheats the PC, it's the fact that there's heat inside and outside the PC.

Nice victory dance! Great work. You should add some fan or holes to the PC modem compartment so it can breath and stay cool.
