    Artifacts of daily life as terrain scatter is something we need more of, frankly. It's great to see an artist setting aside the martial aspect of tabletop/wargaming terrain, and concentrating on civilian terrain for an unusual setting. :)

      It's crazy that civie stuff is considered unusual mate

    Now it really feels like your back mate😊 So good to see you enjoying things and looking happier. I think the secret of getting your mojo back is doing something you enjoy and WANT to build and then you bring us along for the journey. Don’t feel the need to plan projects to please us, just please yourself and enjoy. Great video, fun guide and Bose well and happy and back in the saddle…Life is good☺️ 👏👏👏👏

      Mini mel should really have been sculpted as painting a palm tree.

      Gotta say, using mini-Mel as an in-camera scale comparison would be excellent branding.

    Mel, I give my EPVC shapes a light sanding and then I can use PVA on the surfaces with no problem whatsoever. No separation issues at all.

    Sorry to comment twice, but if you're looking for ideas, I'd love to see how you'd tackle some other simple scatter terrain like campfires, seating areas, storage areas etc. I'm working on a fantasy table at the moment and I'm thinking of trying some of these things myself soon. If you've got any tips on scratch building barrels as well, I'd love to hear it! Cheers again!

    Ah so good to see you back, was a period of time where your channel was quiet and I was worried that was it. You bring such enthusiasm to the hobby, great range of projects and so much craft skill on show. Especially good to see you giving yourself a good bit of time on the ol' BBB - get yourself a game on it!. The scatter terrain turned out fab btw. Do what's right for you obviously but hope we get to witness you regaining a healthy happy creative energy

      Btw if you want to check out a different type of terrain check out Marklin (the train guy), might be enjoyable viewing. Not sponsored I just like his videos as something different - loves making big cliffs, tunnels and bit bodies of water using loo roll instead of resin

    This was good fun.
    I'm sure many others have suggested it but perhaps a amount of battle damaged forest may be in order at some point.
    Your set has been great so far, but it also looks like a shot has never been fired in it as well.
    Keep up the good work Mel, I look forward too the next one:)

    Wicked! My usual go to for flat greenstuff is to take the GS blob, put it between some parchment paper and roll it out with a battery (or another roll type object). The parchment prevents it sticking and it's quite quick.

    Well done sir! - with very few changes, those could be European, south Asian, African, even colonial North America - and practically any time period. Well designed, will look great in the Burma Jungle and inspires me to add some simple things to a village layout of my own to as you say - bring it to life.👏😊

  • @AzraelThanatos
    @AzraelThanatos 2 роки тому +1

    Mel, I'm not sure if the pigs are the right type for burma...I'd assume they'd be closer to the furred wild types than the basic hogs raised in farms.

    • @luclin92
      @luclin92 2 роки тому

      Well might just be that the pigs are imported from the colonial times. And not a actual local species of pig

    • @AzraelThanatos
      @AzraelThanatos 2 роки тому

      @@luclin92 The problem is that most of those wouldn't live very well. A lot of the tropical pig types are darker and furred because it helps protect the pig from a lot of issues, disease being one of them.
