I like your answer on when were you saved. At a very young age I said the ”sinners prayer ,” but as I grow and mature in the faith, I see God’s sovereignty in salvation. It’s His salvation. You’re a great encouragement! God bless!
There is no Apostolic tradition of infant baptism, since the Apostles did not teach it or practice it. Infant baptism is ineffectual and meaningless in securing the future faith and salvation of the baby baptized. How many self-reprobated individuals in history were baptized as babies? Most of the ones of European origin, especially since the price of being an Anabaptist was death.
Also, the Reformed who murdered the Anabaptists were just as bad as the Roman Catholics who murdered them. This is what Jesus said about such people who would come along: John 16:1 ¶These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. 2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you, _because they have not known the Father, nor me._ [Italics mine] 4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. You misunderstood my question. When was that "ah ha!" moment as in the moment you realized that you belonged to the Most High? I made a public profession at 16 and was baptized. Reformed by 21. Lived ungodly from about 30-35 and realized I had 0 fruits and no true faith. God crushed me and I saw my sin for what it was for the first time.

Thought I was pretty mature & knew stuff but wow, I know nothing. I wish we could hear such truth from our pulpits. I have the most awesome pastor but I wish they would do some exposes o& explained the meaning of scripture with better understanding than we are getting. Soooo many Christians (me included) have huge misunderstandings of the Word....we don't really study it, research it out. I'm not familiar with a lot of what you talk about so excuse me while I go look up 'Calvanist" (sp?) and 'Covenental (sp?) & dispensational theology'. Great video. I think you are doing a great work and your topics are needed. I may go in that direction as well with a UA-cam channel down the road with podcasts first. There are too many people following false teachings and there are many events happening in the world where people need solid teachings.
Sadly, I see David Pawson died May 21, 2020. I nearly missed the news of his death in the tsunami of COVID-19 hysteria. I knew he had been unwell, and was surprised he managed 90 years.

Good morning from the Bahamas Allan. My name is Allan and I was saved since I was 16 years old. I began my walk with Christ with reading the Gospel of John and moving right into the book of Romans and just as you do, I love the book of Genesis! Believing the fundamental truths of the faith such as Justfication, Santification and glorification and other precepts still keeps me mindful of God's hand on and in my life. Over the past several years my faith has been very small in that, u probably have watched too many Christian Leaders and pastors disappoint me in their failure to be consistent and honest in their walk with Christ. I developed a deep distain for Church Leaders and I believe it led to my lack of faith. I followed those leaders as Paul instructed us to follow him as he followed Christ; my focus probably was on them and not Christ thus the lack of faith. In short, I am asking you to pray for me for my love for Christ to increase and move beyond where it is. I know I belong to Christ but find it difficult to pray, read the schriptures or even go to church! I view organized church as a social club and not a place to be fueled by God's Holy Spirit; surmons are now self-help talks using a scripture to support it and there is now Life! I do talk to others about how good God is and try to walk godly but I am spiritually depressed. I need encouragement brother! By the way, I do follow reformed theology and love RC Sproul, Ravi Zacharias and know for sure that I am a Calvinist but I need my faith to be renewed. God Bless you for your on-line ministry as your videos are helping me to regain my faith in Christ!

Hi Polite Leader. I've been told to recommend JAR--John, Acts, Romans--to new believers starting to read the Bible. Decades later, I still recommend JAR. Then read the other 63 books of the Bible. For re-reading Bible, I encourage people to choose one-year plan that suits them. I guide my wife in the Scriptures. Men, we need to man up and decide what to do spiritually, who to follow, and be like the Bereans in Acts 17 checking the Scriptures to see if what the Apostle Paul was preaching os true. Use the Bible to test as much as we can. Good teachers to learn from and false teachers to avoid. God bless you, everyone.

Very talented... most are very secular, but it is an interesting phenomenon and tingles are real! As for movies have you ever seen a dark but interesting movie Night of the Hunter? Robert Mitchum is a great actor! Also William Holden is a favorite.

You misunderstood my question. When was that "ah ha!" moment as in the moment you realized that you belonged to the Most High? I made a public profession at 16 and was baptized. Reformed by 21. Lived ungodly from about 30-35 and realized I had 0 fruits and no true faith. God crushed me and I saw my sin for what it was for the first time.

You are an intelligent, handsome man (no worries, I'm a 72 yr old woman happily married...to a man (to be clear) I've just recently come across you all: John McArthur, Justin Peters, Doreen Virtue, Todd Friel etc. & am shocked at what I've heard & learned! Thought I was pretty mature & knew stuff but wow, I know nothing. I wish we could hear such truth from our pulpits. I have the most awesome pastor but I wish they would do some exposes o& explained the meaning of scripture with better understanding than we are getting. Soooo many Christians (me included) have huge misunderstandings of the Word....we don't really study it, research it out. I'm not familiar with a lot of what you talk about so excuse me while I go look up 'Calvanist" (sp?) and 'Covenental (sp?) & dispensational theology'. Looking fwd to your testimony & you mentioned about maybe teaching some bible study. Take care :)

Sadly, I see David Pawson died May 21, 2020. I nearly missed the news of his death in the tsunami of COVID-19 hysteria. I knew he had been unwell, and was surprised he managed 90 years.

Good morning from the Bahamas Allan. My name is Allan and I was saved since I was 16 years old. I began my walk with Christ with reading the Gospel of John and moving right into the book of Romans and just as you do, I love the book of Genesis! Believing the fundamental truths of the faith such as Justfication, Santification and glorification and other precepts still keeps me mindful of God's hand on and in my life. Over the past several years my faith has been very small in that, u probably have watched too many Christian Leaders and pastors disappoint me in their failure to be consistent and honest in their walk with Christ. I developed a deep distain for Church Leaders and I believe it led to my lack of faith. I followed those leaders as Paul instructed us to follow him as he followed Christ; my focus probably was on them and not Christ thus the lack of faith. In short, I am asking you to pray for me for my love for Christ to increase and move beyond where it is. I know I belong to Christ but find it difficult to pray, read the schriptures or even go to church! I view organized church as a social club and not a place to be fueled by God's Holy Spirit; surmons are now self-help talks using a scripture to support it and there is now Life! I do talk to others about how good God is and try to walk godly but I am spiritually depressed. I need encouragement brother! By the way, I do follow reformed theology and love RC Sproul, Ravi Zacharias and know for sure that I am a Calvinist but I need my faith to be renewed. God Bless you for your on-line ministry as your videos are helping me to regain my faith in Christ!

Hi Polite Leader. I've been told to recommend JAR--John, Acts, Romans--to new believers starting to read the Bible. Decades later, I still recommend JAR. Then read the other 63 books of the Bible. For re-reading Bible, I encourage people to choose one-year plan that suits them. I guide my wife in the Scriptures. Men, we need to man up and decide what to do spiritually, who to follow, and be like the Bereans in Acts 17 checking the Scriptures to see if what the Apostle Paul was preaching os true. Use the Bible to test as much as we can. Good teachers to learn from and false teachers to avoid. God bless you, everyone.

Very talented... most are very secular, but it is an interesting phenomenon and tingles are real! As for movies have you ever seen a dark but interesting movie Night of the Hunter? Robert Mitchum is a great actor! Also William Holden is a favorite.
